Kai enters his room silently through the window, jumping in and closing it behind him. He glances at the container of metal and sighs. It seemed to be awake now. He goes over and touches the lid, which melts away at his touch to join the rest of the moving masses. He holds his hand over the jar and then wills the excess that had grown today to roll off of him and into the jar.
