Personalities:
Kylee is a peace-loving diplomat. She tries to be as impartial as possible and constantly takes the middle ground. She is of the opinion that white lies are justifiable, and has no qualms in telling untruths in an attempt to preserve peace. However, she is also often quite indecisive; being able to see both sides of the argument means that she is also easily constantly swayed.
Of course, this means that she is also wary of being controlled by others, as in her younger days, she was easily manipulated into assisting others to prank a friend. Though Kylee seems to be a pretty friendly and nice individual, she also can be pretty distant; keeping many personal things locked up within herself. It's a constant struggle for her because she does want to be accepted into cliques of close friends, but she also values her personal space.
Kylee's also secretly a hopeless romantic; while her main interest in media is crime and detective fiction, her guilty pleasure is that of shoujo manga. And sometimes, she may be caught humming love songs as well...
Akila
Akila is an independent spirit that exudes strength and confidence. She is firm and absolute in her beliefs, and is constantly frustrated with Kylee's indecisiveness. Even so, Akila is determined to be the voice of reason in Kylee's head and is devoted to helping shape her Hunter into a stronger woman.
Why did your human character choose to become a Hunter?
Kylee has believed in stories about monsters that live under beds and in closets her entire life.
But it was certainly not something she shared openly, not when her father was a general practitioner and her mother was a paralegal. Her parents were both very busy people, and any time they got to spend together was treasured; Kylee never wanted to bother them with what she reasoned were dumb tricks of her imagination.
She graduated from high school and attended college, majoring in forensic science. Crime had always interested her; there were times when she wondered if there were creatures of the dark that were actually behind such cases.
And then in her second year in college, a serial killer struck her town.
The media named the killer "The Bogeyman". The killer targeted abusive/neglectful parents and had shown signs of having shut themselves in the closet of children's rooms, waiting for his victims to return. Witnesses had testified to seeing a large figure with monstrous mask over his head.
Kylee could not help as her childhood theory that monsters being behind killings surfaced in her mind again. It distracted her to the point where her grades started falling, and when she was approached by Deus, she readily accepted, finding relief in the fact that such creatures were real.
Weapon Ability Devourer of Hearts The Bite -- Kylee unleashes a red pulse of energy that shoots right into the target's chest. This move causes a mild burning sensation in the chest area as the health of the target is being absorbed.

About Ammits
In Egyptian Religion
Ammit (/ˈæmɨt/; "devourer" or "soul-eater"; also spelled Ammut or Ahemait) was a female demon in ancient Egyptian religion with a body that was part lion, hippopotamus and crocodile—the three largest "man-eating" animals known to ancient Egyptians. A funerary deity, her titles included "Devourer of the Dead", "Eater of Hearts", and "Great of Death".
Ammit lived near the scales of justice in Duat, the Egyptian underworld. In the Hall of Two Truths, Anubis weighed the heart of a person against the feather of Ma'at, the goddess of truth, which was depicted as an ostrich feather (the feather was often pictured in Ma'at's headdress). If the heart was judged to be not pure, Ammit would devour it, and the person undergoing judgement was not allowed to continue their voyage towards Osiris and immortality. Once Ammit swallowed the heart, the soul was believed to become restless forever; this was called "to die a second time". Ammit was also sometimes said to stand by a lake of fire. In some traditions, the unworthy hearts were cast into the fiery lake to be destroyed. Some scholars believe Ammit and the lake represent the same concept of destruction.
Ammit was not worshipped; instead she embodied all that the Egyptians feared, threatening to bind them to eternal restlessness if they did not follow the principle of Ma'at.
In Halloween
Ammits are a female-only demonic subspecies said to be descended from the Ammit of ancient Egyptian religion. Their natural form is that of a creature with the head of a crocodile, the torso of a lion, and the hindquarters of a hippotamus, but they are also able to take a human form. They are spawned from fear of judgement and retribution, and have been rumored to be heart-eaters, when in reality, they feed off emotion, mostly that of guilt.
They are generally not too high up in the demonic chain, as they are seen as physically intimidating, and are usually subject of gossip and disdain by other demons because of their monstrous true form. However, Ammits take pride in who they are, and would like to inform anyone who says otherwise that their ancestors' titles included such classics like "Devourer of the Dead".
