The moon hung in the sky, a heavy disk haloed by tiny flickering lights. It was a cool night edging towards chilly but overall it was pleasant enough. If one could get over the fact the forest seemed strangely quiet tonight. As if it was holding its breath, the trees swaying from time to time causing a rustling sound seemed to be one of the few noises. Despite this, despite the clear signs that it was a night to stay inside, Pyre was out. His feet padding quietly across the ground, as the glowing blue of various runflys twisted around him. The male seemed oblivious almost, with his wings pressed against his sides as he strode along seemingly uncaring.

His ears flicked back and he stopped at one point, displeased with something. His nose crinkled slightly and he turned direction moving till his back was firmly placed against a large rock pile. Once seated comfortably he pulled out a strange book and began flipping through it careful not to tear the pages. He seemed completely engrossed in his book, like whatever he was looking for was surly in here somewhere. Though perhaps tuning out the entire world on a night like this one wasn’t the best idea he had ever had.

It was his favorite kind of night, still and quiet. Perfect for watching, for stalking and for games. It had been awhile since he had any fun, but it was contempt more or less. He was getting ever so bored though. He had found his perch this night on a long rock stacked high on others. It was the perfect vantage point to see any unexpected toys that may come his way.

He seemed to be waiting forever, bored he picked at his stitches. It was almost time to redo them, they were starting to heal too much. Suddenly he caught a sent on the wind and it was coming towards him. He lounged on the rock, calm and waiting. It wasn't long before he saw him, pale fur and silver hair and something strange on his head. The presence and his scent intrigued him. It had been awhile since any had peeked his interest so, let alone a male. He watched him as he soon turned and leaned against the bottom of the rock pile. Ku cocked his head since he seemed to be looking for something. When the male started to flip through a book Kutsuu couldn't contain himself any longer.

He slowly glided off th rock and hung upside down for a moment ad posed his question. "Looking for something? Or is it that good a read?", he then slowly landed in front of the strange male with a mischievous smirk playing on his lips.

Pyre felt the shift, the slight heaviness that hung in the air as the other moved. He couldn’t very well explain it, but something deep in his bones told him this one was someone to be wary of. Perhaps even more so than the unexpected visit from the little reaper he had had from before. His ears flicked forward a moment of curiousness coursing through him as the other quite literally hung in the air for a moment before landing.

Pyre shifted lifting his head to eye the other for a long moment. “You’re a curious sort aren’t you.” Despite the fact that the statement was posed as a question there was no questing tone. Pyre wasn’t asking if the other was unusual he was simply stating fact, at least he was according to him. He took a moment to eye the other, starting with the stitching along the male’s body. Pyre shifted slightly, though he did not rise from his laying position; even if it did make him have to look up to meet the other’s gaze.

If truth be told Pyre had always considered himself of average size for his breed, but in reality he was a touch on the small side. This male however seemed to be on the larger side of things and he easily dwarfed the petite male. There was a strange sort of smell about the other, and his presence caused the fur along Pyre’s spine to stand on edge; his nerves sharp. Rarely did he come in contact with someone he wasn’t so sure he could beat if it came down to a battle. Yet something niggling in the back of his mind told him that if it came down to it he would be at this one’s mercy.

“I suppose you did ask a question, to put it simply yes. I am in fact looking for something, though the book is a good read as well.” Pyre spoke softly, his voice a careful tenor. “Just what is it you are doing here… ?” He let it trail off unsure of what to call the other. He noted vaguely as one of the butterflies fluttered around the other’s head lightly casting his lavender fur in strange blue purple hues.

Kutsuu gave a playfull laugh as he looked the male over and then sat in a very observing manner. He observed the male, seeing he was a bit small, but then Ku was a little bigger then 'average' anyways. He saw how the the male may be straining to look him so he lowered himself to a lounging position. "Curious you say? Hmm, I would say intrigued but curious wll do.", he said flashing his fangs bit.

At the sound of the male trailing his sentence off he leaned up again and bowed his head. "Where are my manners, my name is Kutsuu. And as for your question, I roam where I please as I am a God.....Oh how mother would scold me for forgetting my manners.", he said with a touch humor but serious at the same time. "Now I have another curious question for you sir....", now he stood and moved closer to the males ear just hoping for any reaction. "...Have you found what you were looking for? And if not perhaps I can be of assistance." His voice was a whisper as he drew back and returned to lounging a smirk on his face and twinkle in his eye as he removed stitches from his left paw without loosing eye contact.

Pyre arched a brow delicately before snorting softly and rolling his eyes. Of course the other would find himself intriguing, already he could tell where this was going. Just what he needed another joker who was full of himself; why couldn’t he escape this type these days? He shook his head before he stopped as the other stood up once more.

Kutsuu, what a peculiar name, though that wasn’t the most shocking part. Pyre’s ears flicked forward with shock at the declaration. A god… well that was a first. He supposed the other had some right to be full of himself then. Pyre shook his head in shock slightly before he snapped back to himself. “Pyre, my name is Pyre. It’s a pleasure.” His voice was whisper soft as he watched the other carefully.

As Kutsuu invaded his personal space Pyre pulled back slightly, flicking his ear back against his head and eyeing the other with some suspicion. A shiver ran down his spine, causing his tiny tail to wiggle slightly as if to shake it off. He almost missed the question he was so distracted by someone being so far into his personal space. “Ah, no I haven’t… not exactly.” He trailed off for a moment before glancing back at the other. His ear slowly lifted from its flattened position as he watched the other, now he was interested. He had never met a god before, and it seemed this one had the perchance to stick around.

“What are you the god of exactly?” Pyre queued as he glanced down at the other. Watching as he plucked the stitches out making a bloody mess on the grass; he wondered for a moment what special properties the blood of a god would hold, but only for a moment. “A flower, I was looking for a flower. Is your whole family gods?” He asked remembering a bit belatedly that the other had mentioned something about his mother.

He watched him squirm uncomfortably and he couldnt help but smirk more. The smirk turned into a smile as he heard the male speak his name. "Pyre, what a fitting name....a name associated with fire and death, burning death, intersting. I like it, and the pleasure is all mine", his voice was calm but you could swear there was a pur at the end.

When Pyre then asked about his domain his eyebrow raised, things could very interesting from here. "Kutsuu, means Pain, Agony, Bitterness. I am the God of Pain. An odd domain, but someone has to rule over it. It is mine and mine alone none can take it from me.", he said rather serious and straight faced, briefky showing a side not many see, but it was just a glimpse as soon his mischievous smirk returned at the mention of a flower.

"A flower you say, what kind of flower exactly? And to answer your other question Yes my entire family are God born. My father God of Hunting, mother Goddess of Incense, grandparents Death and Nightmares. Aunts and uncles of Life, War, to name a few. I have a few half aunts and uncles from my Grandmother that arent gods, but I myself am a pure 3rd generation god, the only son with my sisters rulling over Stealth and Cunning. They arent nearly as fun as they used to be.", he said reminising of his kit days playing with them. "What of your family, were are you from exactly?"

Pyre’s ear flicked slightly as the other spoke about his name. “Thank you.” He spoke softly inclining his head at the other before he listened with interest. Well now, that was interesting. He supposed someone did have to rule over it yes, but then again maybe they didn’t. As the darker side peaked forth for a moment Pyre laid his ears back against his head and the tips of his wings shifted slightly. He personally had no intentions of stealing the domain. Was that even possible? To steal a god’s domain from him and in doing so dethrone him? He had never heard of it being done but that wasn’t to say it couldn’t happen.

“I doubt very many people want to take it from you.” Pyre soothed softly lowering his head a bit as if he was submitting. He wasn’t really keen on the idea of being destroyed by a god today. “How does that work exactly? Do you inflict pain on others? Or on yourself? I did notice the stitches… or perhaps others inflict pain on you? Does that mean you are incapable of being gentle with someone or that sometimes you just get a bit too rough?” Pyre queued before he quickly shut his mouth and turned away slightly. “I apologize, I am heavily curious. I’ve never met a god before and I know very little about them here.” He shifted tucking his wings close to his body once more.

He shifted slightly at the question about the flower, glancing around them as if maybe it would just appear. “One with supposed magical properties that only bloom at night; though I doubt the magical properties the blooming at night part seems plausible. It’s white, pure white, grows on a long vine around trees. Though I have yet to see anything of the sort, regardless I must find it for a… customer.” Pyre stated the last word seeming a bit odd on his lips.

Pyre’s eyes widened slightly as Kutsuu explained his family. He hadn’t been expecting there to be so many, but it appeared Ku had quite the large family. Their domains almost seemed to complement each other in some way, though there were a few odd one’s thrown in there. “What happened, why did they change?” He asked curiously before he scrunched up his nose at the question about his family.

“I haven’t any. As far as I am aware. There is only me, no parents, no siblings, no children.” He shifted slightly before he looked away no longer meeting Kutsuu’s eyes. “As for where I hail from, it’s a secret. Stick around and maybe one day I will tell you.”

Kutsuu's ear twitched curiously at Pyre's first comment. True not many would want to take his powers, especially if they knew what it really meant. Luckily for Kutsuu he was born for it and revealed in his powers. When asked how it worked, he just stared back with a blank yet mysterious expression. He could explain it, but there more to it then it seemed. Maybe one day he could talk of the secret, but not yet. "True not many would wish for pain, but luckily im what my sister call a masochist.....or just crazy. As to how it works, well im not going to reveal that just for a nice face. That info you will have to earn hot stuff." He laughed at his last words, true he was being silly but he also was taking more note of the features Pyre had. He liked what he saw.

"Family can be over rated, but still I find the absence of yours sad, as for my sisters they finally found ways to best me in games, they made it not fun. They can be so annoying, but they are family I love them. You didnt hear it from me though. As for seeing gods, its not a common occurance really but we lurk and I like curious and cute, and I do hope you stick around. , he said with a smile.

"Now what I can tell you regarding pain is I enjoy it, giving and recieving but again there is more to it then that. Tell you what we can play a game see how much pain we can inflict before the other passes out, haha. Im sure I would win, but on the off chance you can best me I may just help you find your flower.", he said with a smirk and devilish wink.

Pyre blinked slightly at the expression he was faced with at first. For a moment he thought he might have managed to offend the other but it seemed that wasn’t the case exactly. “I wasn’t even meaning that exactly, true not many would wish for pain. However I can’t imagine any dumb enough to fight a god for his domain. It seems a fruitless endeavor for surly the god would win.” Pyre stated simply before flicking his ears forward and amused expression crossing his features. Hot stuff, now that was a new one. Not many had ever been brazen enough to call him anything but his name, and when they had it was never hot stuff. Pyre blew a strand of silver hair out of his face as he shook his head. “Hot stuff huh? Alright, I’ll stick around for now. If only because I’m painfully curious about how it all works.”

The smaller male shifted for a moment glancing off to the side. “I’ve been alone for a long time now. The absence of family, friends and what have you is hardly felt anymore. So do not let it sadden you.” He spoke quietly for a moment before he rolled his shoulders as if shaking it off. “Ah, well I suppose that wouldn’t make it very fun now would it? I won’t tell them you said it, your secret is safe with me.” A small smile curled his maw at the other’s antics. “Are you calling me curious and cute?” Pyre queued, his ears flicking forward.

“Interesting fact to learn. Though I hardly think this a fair game.” Pyre mused slightly as he wiggled his little tail. “How could I possibly best the God of Pain in a pain based game? Besides if I passed out from the pain then what would happen to me? I would be completely defenseless against any would be attacker that came along. If I’m going to fight a losing battle you at least have to throw me a bone here. When, not if, I do pass out from the pain you at least have to stay and protect me until I wake. Then and only then will I play.” He stated eying the other with what could be a slightly challenging look.
