Hiroki "Turq" Allen Turq didn't know where he was. He had been dropped on the lonely country road little more than an hour ago after being forced awake and ushered into a van. Blindfolded and bound, too. He was loose now, though, and walking barefoot down the road. His feet hurt, and so did his neck. They'd removed the chip from his neck on the way here. Looking around, Turq shivered and hugged himself, suddenly scared and realizing he'd been abandoned. What had he done wrong? He never acted out. Was it because he broke the chairman's vase from India? Turq didn't mean it. It was just so pretty. He wanted to look at it.Puppy Peter Not my best post....Sorry.

Julius removed his goggles, setting them down on the counter, and rubbed his eyes. He had been working for hours and was tired and hungry, he suddenly realised. He stretched, yawned, and walked through from his laboratory to the kitchen. He set the kettle to boil so he could make himself a cup of tea and he put some bread in the toaster. He then got out the butter and a jar of marmalade to put on the toast. He went to open the window. He was surprised to see someone walking down the quiet country lane. Well, more staggering than walking. He certainly wasn't a hiker, he had no backpack and looked lost. And he was barefoot! Something was definitely wrong. Julius went out of the kitchen door and hurried downt he driveway to the lane. He looked at the youth - he looked poorly to him. "Excuse me but are you all right?" Julius asked him. "Do you need help?" CLCyrus It's just fine! I hope mine is okay. ^^

Hiroki "Turq" Allen Turq didn't hear the older man approach him. He was so lost in his own thoughts. So, when the man spoke to him, the young male let out a shout and backed away. He kept his gaze down and poked his two index fingers together nervously. What did he do? He never had to talk to anyone otskde the other kids and the chairman. And, none of them had ever been too interested in how he was doing. "...I....I don't know where I am....C-Can you help me find the warehouse? I need to get back...." Going back was probably not an option, though. They'd left him here and even took back their tracking chip. But, it was the only place he knew. Everyone he ever knew was there, too. Turq looked up at the guy in front of him. He looked...normal. Not like the people who came to the warehouse auctions. Did he live out here in the house down the road? Why?

Julius stared at the young male. He was a pretty little thing and he looked so sad and scared. "I didn't mean to startle you. I won't hurt you" he assured him. It didn't seem as though he was used to strangers, he seemed timid. And what was he saying about a warehouse? "There's no warehouse around here, not for miles" he told him. "You're hurt. Your feet are bleeding. Let me take care of you for now, get you bathed and fed and then we'll sort out where you should be. What's your name? Mine is Julius." He picked the boy up to carry him up the driveway to the house, thinking he shouldn't walk any further the state he was in.

Hiroki "Turq" Allen He thought so. Turq didn't think it was anywhere near here. When told about his feet, he looked down to see they were indeed bleeding. He didn't feel it, though. Maybe it was the drug they used on him when they took the chip. The older male told him he was going to take care of him, and Turq tensed when he was picked up. "...Turq. They called me Turq. I think th chairman said it stood for turquoise."

"I won't harm you, I want to help you" Julius repeated when he felt how the youth stiffened when he picked him up to carry him to his home. "Turq? Well, if it stands for turquoise then it must be a nickname. A well suited one. You have lovely turquoise eyes" he told him. "This is my house, right here." He carried him to the small manor house. It was a little shabby on the outside but quaint and charming. There was a lot of old metalwork about, old bits of machinery of all sorts. He took him into the house and straight upstairs to a bathroom. "I've wash your feet and put some cream on them" he told him. "Then some loose cotton socks. Are you hungry?"

Hiroki "Turq" Allen "O-Okay. Thank you...." Hearing the compliment, he blushed and looked down shyly. His eyes were pretty then? Turq looked around curiously as Julous took him inside. His home was nice. Small and quaint. That was the word he wanted, right? Why did he have so much metal and machine parts around? Was he an inventor? "Do you make things?" It wasn't long before they were in a bathroom and Julius talked about cleaning his feet before something about cream and socks. And, hunger. Hearing that, Turq's stomach growled and his face turned red. When did he eat last? "I-If it's not too much trouble. Thank you. Er....Again."

Julius smiled warmly at the younger male. "Yes, I like to make things. It's a hobby of mine" he told him. "It's no trouble at all, I'm happy to take care of you." He got a bowl of warm soapy water to bathe his feet. "This may sting a bit, Turq" he warned him. He bathed his feet, gently patted then dry with a soft warm towel and then smeared on some soothing antiseptic cream. He fetched a pair of his own clean cotton socks and slipped them onto his feet. "There we go. Now to the kitchen for something to eat and drink. I'll do you some toast wth marmalade and a glass of milk for now then you can rest, get some sleep, before lunch when I can cook you a proper meal."

Hiroki "Turq" Allen That was so cool. Turq hoped he could see some of the things Julius made. He whined a bit when his feet were cleaned and creamed. It wasn't really the stringing that got to him; he just didn't like his feet being touched. When the socks were put on, Turq wiggled his toes and smiled much like a child feeling sand between their toes. It was comfy! "Huh?...Oh. Okay. Thank you, Mister Julius." This was way different than life at the warehouse. He actually got attention now.

Julius smiled, watching the boy as he wriggled his toes like a child and called him Mister Julius. "Julius, just Julius is fine" he told him. "How old are you, Turq?" He seemed younger than he looked somehow. He was cute. Utterly adorable, actually. He stood up and held out his hand wondering if Turq would take his hand or not. He would feed him now then put him to bed for some sleep. Later he would give him a bath, clean clothes, a proper meal. He supposed he would have to look into where he had come from but he wasn't inclined to return him to somewhere that treated him so poorly that he ended up like this. The poor boy needed care and protection.

Hiroki "Turq" Allen Okay. Just Julius. He didn't seem ro like being called Mister. Noted. "Twenty. Why?" Turq looked at Julius' hand when it was held out to him, and he didn't hesistate as much. Taking it, Turq stood and winced a bit. It stung a bit. "So, what kind of stuff do you make, Julius?"

Julius held the young man's hand gently and led him downstairs and along the hall back to the kitchen. He nodded to a chair at the table, a big scrubbed pine farmhouse table. "I thought you looked around that, perhaps a little younger - 18, 19. But your manner is that of someone much younger. It makes me wonder what sort of upbringing you've had, what sort of care you've been given. Though care is not the right word I don't think. Whatever this warehouse is you speak of it seems to me they have neglected you terrible. I know what that is like." He started to reboil the kettle. He threw away the toast from earlier, now spoiled, and put fresh bread in the toaster. "I made all sorts of things. Clocks, clockwork things, everyday gadgets, pictures. All out of brass and bronze mostly. It's just a hobby though I've occasionally sold a piece. I'm actually a writer by profession. Do you want tea or milk?"

Hiroki "Turq" Allen Turq tilted his head. Was it a bad thing to be so childhood? He was actually mature if he tried. Would that make Julius happy? "...Did you grow up in a warehouse, too?" Turq listened as Julius told him aboutthe things he made and what he did as a job. "That's so cool! Can I see some of stuff sometime?" He thought. "Tea, please. Thanks." Turq was saying thabk you a lot. He hoped it wasn't getting annoying.

Julius saw how Turq tilted his head to one side and looked at him. Like a curious kitten or puppy, he thought with a smile. "You're so cute!" he said; he hadn't meant to say that, it kind of just slipped out. He set about making two cups of tea and set one in front of the lad. "Of course you may see some. You know...if you stay for a while, you could help me out in the laboratory, help make some things yourself."
