The sun was high in the sky, the air was cool and all was well in the world. At least that's how she felt about it. Even if the sky chose to open up this very instant and pour down heavy rain, it would not ruin her mood. She was at peace and enjoying every moment of it. She was enjoying it so much so that she lifted her voice and let it's song dance in the open fields.

"I remember when we first started. You came to me and you were broken hearted. I took you in and wiped all your tears away. I gave you loving more than any other gave. Don't you know I'm the one and I love you boy. I don't care what they say you know you are my world. Come back home to the one
who loves you more and more. Soon you'll see that it was me you were searching for..."

His stumbles did indeed disturb her singing but it did nothing to anger her. Instead, such events drew her to grow concerned for his well being. When her turned her gaze to find the source of the faint whimper, her grey eyes found themselves resting on his form, and she made a slow and cautious approach. "Are you alright?"

"Hrm. If there is a light throbbing, you should probably lay down and rest. You don't want to over due it and make a minor injury into something worse." She gave him a light nod before taking a seat. "Oh don't you worry yourself. You didn't disturb my song at all. My name is Basanta. It's nice to meet you. May I inquire as to what your name is?"

"No need for apologies. It's quite alright." She chuckled briefly before continuing. "The pleasure is all mine Miller." She fell silent for a moment but then perked up when he questioned her. "That depends entirely upon you honestly. If you feel the throbbing is nothing to worry about any longer, then you can get up. Though, I'd still be careful regardless." Well this was new. It had been quite some time since she really had the chance to interact with another Ulaya. "Are you from around here?"

"Not this region in particular. I'm further south, but I thought it best that I walk the path of self discovery and learn more about myself now that I am old enough to fend for myself." She gave a content sigh and settled for laying next to Miller. "Already I've learned quite a bit about myself and have adapted a few philosophies here and there. It's quite exhilarating being on my own."

She nodded, listening to his every word and smiled when he became self-conscious about how much he'd been speaking. "You're quite alright. There is no need to worry. What better way to get to know someone than to listen to them speak? I myself can be rather bad, especially when I am speaking about something that holds my interest or when I'm excited. It gets so bad, others have often told me to slow down and take a breath." She chuckled lightly before giving a content sigh. "But that was in the past. It's been quite some time since I've last spoken to anyone. In fact, if memory serves me right...you're actually the first Ulaya I have spoken to in about six months."

"It's not really all that long when you are used to being alone. I didn't have a family growing up. I was pretty much on my own, picking of scraps wherever I could find them and using abandoned dens or the hollows of trees as my shelter. From a far, I would watch mothers teach their kits how to hunt and that's how I learned how to hunt for myself." She stood up for a moment and looked him over. "I'll be right back. You stay put ok." Quickly she ran off into the tall grasses of the field. She was gone for about ten minutes but finally she returned, holding a plant within her muzzle. "Eat this. It's Nettle. It's rather bitter but it does wonders for muscle aches."
