Autumn returned to the healers den after he collected the required herbs the healer asked of him. He knew the man just was trying to keep him busy, keep his mind off of what day it was. It was the day he lost his parents in the fire. He didn't remember very much of what had happened or how he had gotten out of the flames. He had woken up days later, sore, singed, and having trouble breathing. It seemed the healer had been surprised he survived at all. During that time he wanted to know where his parents were and why he couldn't see them, but he wasn't allowed to leave the cold bed he was on. When he had been able to leave, he was told what happened to his family and that he had become an orphan.
The wolf shook his head to clear the thoughts lingering in his mind. He had always wondered why he survived and who it was that went into the teepee that night to save him.
"Im going to get some air." He said finally before he left the den again and went towards the woods. Maybe if he went to the site he would feel a bit better. He hadn't been there since it burned down, but maybe if he went he wouldn't have to think so much about the past and could move on with his life.
