+ Hard Working
Ava is hard working, determined and devoted. She will always give everything she has to the mission or the goal. When s**t needs to get done, she doesn’t mess around - if she’s on the job, it’ll get done (or so she likes to believe.) She doesn’t appreciate anyone who ******** around on the job; who thinks it’s a game. In her eyes, the organisation confirmed her sanity; saved her. She's resourceful; she'll find a way to do something if one hasn't been created already. She's not above manipulating others to get what she wants. It's not malicious; it's for the greater good and rarely for personal gain.
- Escapist
Hard working as she is, it isn’t entirely for noble reasons. Working is an escape for her; an escape from the small part of her that remembers the whispers and the side-eyed glances - the small part of her that the organisation is just part of her personal madness. It's easier to forget things when your mind is focused elsewhere. It's a good escape when she has things to do but when there's nothing to be done, she falls to pieces and finds her escape elsewhere (physical release, alchohol etc')

She's been on her own for long enough to know how to get by. While she was once outgoing, friendly circumstances have turned her into a bit of an introvert; a lone wolf of sorts. She's a bit stubborn, headstrong and can sometimes think her word is the law because that's how it is for her.
- Distrusting
Her solitude and alienation has left her jaded. It's hard for her to trust people - to trust that they aren't judging her or whispering behind her back. She would love to be able to get close to someone but she's built a wall around herself and it's too high to see over. It's more of a distrust of being hurt again rather than a distrust of a person's character. She had friends in the past and they turned on her.
+/- Record keeper
Ava loves to record everything she learns, hears, witnesses. She takes notes, writes journals, takes photographs. While it is a requirement for Hunters to keep records, it seems as if Ava goes above and beyond her duties. This is a continuation from pre-Deus in which she logged every shadowy encounter and anything else related to it - including a list of people who betrayed her and interactions. She's also an avid reader of books; both fiction and non-fiction.
+/- Shoes, stockings & pens
Ava collects more than records and notebooks. She has an obsession with shoes and stockings - especially character stockings. She also collects novelty pens. Even she isn't certain why.
+/- Sweets
Ava's got an almost uncontrollable sweet tooth. If you give her sweets she'll likely tolerate you enough to get more. If you've pissed her off and you offer sweets she'll forgive you.. most of the time.
History
She'd grown up seeing shadows for as long as she could remember and they left her skittish, weak, afraid. For years she tried to convince other people - friends, family, the general population - that they existed but, of course, no one believed her. They alienated her, made her doubt herself. When she finally caught the attention of a Deus recruiter, she'd begun to believe she was mad. It was either believe in their cause or check herself into an institute.

  While very minimalistic in design and decoration, there is one thing that stands out in Ava's room and that is the sheer number of books. Text books, history books, notepads even an abundant supply of paper; some of which is scattered around the floor. Pens galore - often decorated with cute characters and in ridiculous colours. Sticky notes, a cork board, highlighters and sticky tabs. There seemed to be a level of organisation amongst the chaos, as if everything was in its place, piecing together a larger picture.
There is a calendar with certain dates circled, crossed out or noted upon. The cork board has reminders, phone numbers and things she thinks she'll forget. One has been coloured in with a black sharpie and the original note cannot be deciphered. The trash can seems to always be full - but only of paper, never of things that will create a smell. There is a wine glass - and usually a bottle accompanying it - on the desk that is never seen full for more than a minute.
The cupboard is the only true organised part of the room - clothing seperated by type and colour - rotated depending on the season and the current fashion. There is an abundant supply of character stockings and hair accessories. Her boot collection knows no bounds.
