Trixie almost, almost turned right around when she got to the venue. Yes, she'd promised her parents. Yes, she'd signed up and RSVP'd for her slot at the mixer. Yes, she'd gone through the trouble of making herself presentable. But her heart was tattooing a rhythm against her chest and she could feel the blush already starting its slow burn upwards from her knees.She didn't think she was ready ready. But she'd promised her parents and that was the end of that. She took a deep breath and slowly inched her way inside the venue. On her defense, the inching bit was kind of because there was a huge line for the registration and confirmation. Someone seemed to have ruined the computer and so they were forced to do things manually.
"Oh! What luck." she said, just loud enough for the grimm in front of her to hear.
