Tri stared down quietly at the granola packet in his hand and squeezed it until the wrapper crinkled and cracked in his hand. He finally dropped it on the bed and ignored it putting his head in his hand for likely the 14th time since Hexxis returned back to her computer like self and went with Mara.
It was painful and being with Anadii was just as painful since it just reminded him of Hexxis and it was not his fault at all. Then Ree..... that one always answered his phone but was vague about where he was and if he was with anyone. Ree had been silent when he mention what happened to Hexxis...even when he accused the other meta of starting it. Ree didn't defend just kept listened.
He was a mess and knew it.. it was so hard trying to regain his composure again once the emotions just poured out. Even more so after he read the story Hexxis gave him... only a few hours and they would have understood. Why?
"Anadii...food" he said tiredly and pulled out two new bars of granola from the box and a bottle of water and went to the computer like meta while folding his wings against himself for comfort. Pausing in front of it he stared searchingly in the same way he looked at Hexxis, looking for some type of emotion to show him they were alive somewhere still inside. Quietly he held out all three things to Anadii.

Anadii did not quite understand what was going on. Since his return, Administrator Tri seemed... down. It supposed that was the word for it. It had tried searching its database for answers, but had come up with nothing. Online searches yielded many responses, but the most common one seemed to be "depression." It was currently in the process of researching how to treat it, since it seemed to be a mental disease - that meant it was curable, right?
No, apparently not, at least not according to the answers it was getting online... It stirred from its silent searches at the mention of its name, eyes blinking a few times before they came to focus on Tri, and then slid down to stare at the items in his hands. Food. It reached out and took the two bars in one hand, and then the bottle of water in the other. "Thank you." It replied in its usual monotone, almost mechanically setting the extra items aside to just hold one of the bars in order to open the package.
It then proceeded to eat both granola bars, pausing once it was done to speak as its eyes flashed: "File deleted." It then blinked a couple of times before looking down at the wrappers, a small frown forming on its face. "...I still have not found the protocol that causes me to delete memories of eating, though I did eat just now, yes?" It looked back to Tri, head tilted to the side just slightly.

There was a look of sadness wash across his face as he watched Anadii eat it then verbally confirm deletion of the memory. Only the small frown and the head tilt paused him from turning away in defeat.
Glancing down at the wrappers he nodded in confirmation "Yes, you verbally said "File deleted" after your eyes flashed a few times" he muttered quietly as he reached to take the wrappers to throw away.
Dropping them in the trash can on the floor he turned to face Anadii again, his wings only slightly higher and not dragging on the floor as they have been. As if those small emotions he saw on the computer metas face gave him the hint of hope that Hexxis might be able to do the same.. but would her personality return? Anadii had a super organize mental system that he wasn't sure was not actually part computer. If Anadii couldn't find one specific file/order that was blocking him then how hard would it be for Hexxis to break through it... how many previous versions of her were there too?
"I'm distracted.." he said that softly in apology before glancing toward the phone. "We should be having a visitor later today. Was there anything you wanted to ask me before they come...of anything not just them" he was starting to fall into the habit of trying to ask Anadii to see if that helped the computer meta somehow. He was not as talkative as Ree so this helped, or he hoped.

Anadii nodded slightly, small frown still in place. "I see. I will look harder for the protocol." It picked up the water bottle, unscrewing the cap before taking a sip of it. It noted the difference in wing position - was he going to go fly? It wasn't advisable yet... The statement about his distracted state earned a small nod. "Yes, I have noticed that you are displaying symptoms of lethargy." It set the water bottle aside, then tilted its head again in question.
"I have a great many questions, though I am not sure how to phrase them so for now I will keep them to myself. Who is coming to visit?"

Tri looked faintly surprised to learn that he noticed and just nodded slowly in agreement but did to explain more as he pulled away and moved to sit on the bed Ree was using before.
"Someone who used to work with Mara. She taught me at her behest, I am calling her to ask a few favors now " he said quietly as he played with a button at the edge of his cuff until he accidentally twisted right off. Blinking faintly he held the button in his hand and sigh. "She got by the name of Bob..just Bob. Bob is her nickname. Not something she likes but it stuck on due to her previous teammates and some event" he said quietly rambling slightly, knowing she used her real name for other things and Anadii would likely find information she wouldn't not want to be found if he gave him her real name.
"She will be helping me for a while. " he explained quietly. "oh yes... I wanted to ask if you were able to make any breakthrough with the three names that were mentioned by Hexxis and the breakdown protocol file?" he muttered, resisting a look to the clock as he tried to remember the last time he ask.

That seemed... vague. Just a person that worked with Mara who was called Bob, but not because it was her real name. If she didn't like it, why was she called Bob? Then again, Anadii supposed it was called many things that it didn't "like" (not that it had the self-awareness to know that at the time) and hadn't told others to stop calling it those things... It nodded slightly at Tri's explanation, though it didn't really... seem to explain anything at all. What was she going to help with?
"Yes, I have discerned the identity of the three people that Hexxis mentioned." It shifted its position a little as it brought up its basic findings. "Dallas Conner: Head Scientist at Haven. Lead of numerous projects including Experiment 001 - Codename Hexxis, recently deceased. Jason Schmidt: Head of Security at Haven. Recently deceased leading a team to secure Lazarus project. Douglas Thompson: Head of Medical at Haven. Resigned due to extensive medical issues." It finished reading off its findings, then looked back to Tri. "It is not much but I did not dig very far because I was running attempts at breaking into the file we have been trying to unlock. I have finally succeeded."
It figured it was probably too late, the protocol had already been activated, but at least they would know for future reference. "The file has been sent to your computer. Would you like me to read it out loud for you?" Ree had decided against that after it had read the medical file out loud... perhaps Tri wouldn't like that either.

"You have? " he turned and rushed to the laptop picking it up and setting it on his lap with a fury of energy that had no outlet. Of the names that were listed the first two did not come as a surpise, the first might be dead or might be in hiding but out of all three of them it had always been the last one that intrested him.
"No, it is easier for me to read it......thank you" as a memory poked him to remember his manners as he stared at the file Haven had hidden at such a high clerence. "Fail safe...." He muttered staring at the second stage that indicated that she would have been forced to suicide. It made sense, you did not make a weapon without some yep of fail safe encase it goes awary. What did surpise him was that they were able to give on to Ashral. If the original owner and the head of security were dead, the first he was suspicious of and the second ....hm. That left the third...at the same time...there was no indication what the triggers were. He only had Hexxis note pointing at emotions..but were there more?
Looking up at Anadii he opened his mouth to ask before stopping. He was going to keep using him as a computer and that was excatly as Haven programmed it. Except now it was showing faint signs of facial expression it didn't do before and he should start trying to address it as such.
Putting the laptop to the side he quickly texted Mara a quick overview before putting it away and looking at Anadii. "....Thank you for what you did, that was extremely helpful. " he looked around and stared at the granola bars with a faint sigh, wanting to move on with what he had but forcing himself to focus and actually acknowledge this. "I am going to need you to look for more information. My goal is to try and help Hexxis but I know that might not be what you want. Is there something you would like? Or if you wish to leave ....." Not really wanting to offer the last but doing so because it was the right thing to so.

"Yes. It just completed." It blinked, watching Tri closely as he set the laptop up... He must have truly been wanting that file. Perhaps it should have tried harder... though trying harder would have exposed it to Haven, and it was already established that doing so was a Bad Idea. It hadn't bothered reading through the file itself, that knowledge wasn't something it needed... That, and some part of it was reluctant to do so. Its medical file had been set up similar to Hexxis', would it have similar protocols in place?
It blinked, head tilting to the side just slightly... "It is nothing that requires thanking. It was a task that I was assigned to do, that is all." It had never been thanked for doing its job like that before... What a strange feeling. The topic of want came back again, and it found itself growing... frustrated? Yes, frustrated...
"As I have already told Mara, you are my registered administrator and I will remain in your service until I am dismissed. Where that takes me or what tasks will be assigned to me, I do not know and it is not my place to care." It shook its head slightly, pausing... "I simply do not want to return to Teldhet, nor the conditions that I was existing in. That is the only thing that I ask. Mara suggested that I look into relocating to Belosh, but I do not know if that is reasonable. Until then, I will remain in your service unless you dismiss me."

Tri looked at it closely and finally nodded. "If your current desire changes I would like to know before you do something drastic. Even if it seems like you will never do that currently I would like acknowledgement that you will warn me if something were to change in the future " he said quietly as he looked down at the laptop to hide the feeling of relief at those words.
"If you are still willing, I would like you to gather any information you can on Douglas Thompson's condition, family, living place, videos, and presentations. Also see who the new Head of security, science and medical are" there was a pause as he stared down at the keyboard in his hands and turned to look at a new of his notes. The notes he took when overhearing at the Renegade place. " Douglas is the only one left of the originals. He can give someone else complete access to Hexxis the easy way unless Dallas is not dead. Is there any mention of cause of death? " he muttered as he skimmed the notebook stopping as he reached a list of names. "For simple information try the public records, I don't want you devling into Haven's network unless you can't find the information other wise . " there was a pause as he looked over the list again.
"That said I think you need to do a search in haven's directory for these. Vic, Gio, Kveta, Anasteria, and Jason. They are recent transfers to Haven and were on the list along with Hexxis. I want to see if they were all supposed to start the same experiment or were sent to different ones. As for Security ...he died in a Lazarus project? Did their subject escape?" A possible ally there? ...either ways that should be enough to keep Anadii busy then he and Bob can do the rest.

Anadii blinked, expression settling into another small frown. Something drastic? What counted as drastic? "Please define 'drastic.' I do not know what you mean." It tilted its head slightly, listening to the requests that Tri was making... and goodness, he was making a lot. It opened up a notepad to write down what it was he wanted...
Douglas Thompson - condition, family, living place, videos and presentations Current Haven head of security, science, and medical Cause of death for Dallas Haven directory search for: Vic, Gio, Kveta, Anasteria, and Jason Lazarus Project location
That was.. quite a bit, but it was doable. It would keep it occupied for certain.
When are you going to look into yourself?
It glanced to the side... the voice had a point. With all of these projects, it simply wouldn't be able to look through its own files with any sort of depth, and if it did it might run the risk of having another system failure... That was concerning.
He is the Administrator, I do what I am told.
That is your programming speaking, you are also an Administrator... You do what you want.
"Very well, I will begin compiling the data that you have requested. It will take me some time to acquire it. Is there a priority list?" It turned its gaze back to Tri, ignoring the voice for now. It was just... so much simpler to do as it was told.

Tri looked at Anadii and look thoughtful. " Douglas's information, the current heads for Haven and cause of death for Dallas. On a priority order. The others as you can get to them" he said quietly, the other two were more information based while the last one had nothing to do with Hexxis at the moment.
Looking away from Anadii he stared at the laptop and frowned. "Drastic is.... " he trailed off trying to think of a way to explain. "When you do something very extreme... like leaving forever with only minimal information and no way to contact you as an example " he said quietly grabbing one of the more recent example. Ree didn't think he didn't feel much about it but he did he just didn't focus so much on it instead just on finding her...and now helping her.
*knock*
He moved to his feet and was already most of the way to Anadii as he stared at the door, wings flared as he glared and waited. Lowering his wings when there was a second knock with a small beat.

"I believe I understand now." It nodded, essentially translating that to: don't do what Ree did and run off without a word. It probably wouldn't do that... unless they turned into Teldhet, then it certainly would. "Very well, I will start with Douglas." It settled into place a little more on its chair, leaning back while it started searching...
Most of it was terribly easy to find, public records were easy like that... The videos, however, were not. It took a bit of convincing to get them along with his presentations. It made the mistake of opening one of the video files to make sure it was legitimate and after two seconds immediately shut it down with a small, barely audible sound of distress.
Did they do that to you? Did they do that to me? Are we like that?
It's lights flickered between minty-jade and yellow while it attempted to focus on something else. "I have.. Douglas's information when you are ready..." It didn't even really notice the knocks, or Tri's flared wings.

Tri looked down at Anadii as he let out a small sound and he frowned. "Pass it to my computer. She's here" he said looking at him carefully watching the lights change. Finally he moved away and went to open the door as there was the same knock again.
Outside a black haired Shadow with darkblue highlights in her hair looked back at him, her arms holding a couple of bags as she looked at him hard with inversed blue eyes. "Move" she said simply pushing past him as the dog followed her inside.
"Where is the third person?" she asked looking at Anadii and quickly dismissing him as she glanced around the rest of the room and finally turning to look at them as she set the bags on the table.
"Elsewhere. This is Anadii." he waved to Anadii. "Anadii... Bob "
".... An unfortunate nickname " she smirked faintly and waited for the teen to say something...daring him to make fun of it. Not the first time, the only reasons she kept it was in remembrance of an old friend. "I bought the things and the second area is ready. Were you able to find something to do we have to start from square 1?" the smirkw as off and she was serious if slightly put off as the dog moved along with her but was slowly wagging her tail as she looked at the other two.
"Change in things. Just slightly " he muttered.

"Affirmative..." It sent the file to Tri's laptop, then secured its own copies deep in a locked folder within its own storage banks. It did not want to see any of that ever again...
I would not have cared before...
You are aware of yourself now.
It turned its gaze to the door, watching as the Shadow came inside. She seemed to have more command than Tri did, at least verbally. It pushed itself up to its feet, blinking as Tri introduced them. It really had no reason to speak for now, though it was... confused about what she was talking about. Second area? Square one? It sounded like they were going to be on some sort of mission, but Tri had not briefed it yet...
It thought to ask, but stopped when it noticed the dog. An animal... they weren't permitted in the server rooms it had spent most of its life (that it could remember, anyway) in. It edged away from the dog, gaze going back to Tri. Maybe if it stayed away from the creature, it wouldn't... come closer.

"What changes?" she looked at him with a frown, her eyes suddenly alert as she finally looked at him closely. Taking in that stupid covering thing some races used for their wings..two of his wings were down other wise why would he need them? Well there went flying recon.
She pointed at his wings and raised a brow before turning away and started to unpack as few clothes, looking toward the meta on the bed. Anadii, interesting...
"Anadii. Change into this " she toss over some clothes that looked like it could actually fit him while taking something out for Tri as well and a hat. " And this for you. "
Tri frown and caught it one by one and places it on the bed by him as he moved to the computer. "The first two are dead and third one has resigned. Anadii is working on getting other information. " he said looking toward the clothes blankly before looking toward Anadii. "We're moving elsewhere, and we need to hide your markings as much as we can" there was a flicker of uneasiness as he looked toward Bob then back to Anadi and sighed, moving to the bathroom to change and coming out a bit later
Bob looked over at Anadii as she went through another bag and the dog stayed by her sit, wagging her tail and looking hopeful toward Anadii. ".... you're an escape meta from Teldhet right? " not needing the confirmation but it was a way to break the ice at least since he never bit toward the name.
