This is a PRP between CheyRiddle and I, please do not post.  Apple season was here. Finally, after waiting so long, after wishing and hoping and begging for it to arrive, it had! Every day he would check the little grove of trees his mother had somehow cultivated, checking on the little fruits that hung from them; and every day, it wasn't time. Absinthe had grumbled at the unripe fruit, telling it to hurry up, and finally his work had paid off. Grinning cheekily, he gingerly grasped a reddened apple from the tree between his jaws, its juices running down his chin and neck as he gave it a few gentle tugs. To his dismay, the apple refused to dislodge itself from the branch, and he huffed as he tugged harder, causing the branch to shake and nearby apples to fall to the ground with a few soft thuds. He shook his head up and down, back and forth, and nothing seemed to work. Growling lowly, he bit the apple in half where it hung, chomping at it angrily. How dare it defy him!

 Pebbles needed to get away from her parents and brother for a while. Sure things were great as she was growing up but Bam Bam had been spending less time with her. And she has grown bored.. So she slipped away from the meadow where she and her father and mother lived and decided to go see what was in one direction. Not even thinking that she would run across a orchard. She looks up at the apples with a smile. They look so nice and they would probably be so juicy. Would sate her hunger slightly too. It would be so simple to get some down. All she would have to do is headbutt the tree. Though she hadn't had much practice ever since her brother decided that they shouldn't headbutt each other anymore. Probably because she got antlers like their father. She doesn't notice the other as she looks up at the apples. Contemplating on how to get one.

It didn't take long at all for Absinthe to notice someone on his mother's turf. He stared bleakly at the mare, grumbling to himself in dismay. The stallion really disliked any sort of provocation or even conversation in general, but he disliked the idea of not having apples throughout the winter even more. Sighing, he nabbed the other half of his apple from the tree he was worrying on and munched as he padded toward the odd mare. "Hey," he said with a full mouth, "Do you know my mom? Did she tell you to come check up on me?" It was entirely a possibility. Midori had told him to stay out of the apple grove every day, and every day he'd defied her.

Pebbles wasn't expecting anyone and the sound of someone speaking gave her a start. Pretty much making her jump out of her skin as she spins to look at him. Her eyes wide. His coat is like.. glowing and she hand't encountered that before. Sure bright colors like her family. But not glowing. " Oh.. Um.. No.. I was traveling. Just seeing what was beyond the meadow where my family lives... And I stumbled across this place.. I haven't seen a orchard in real life before... I'm sorry.. " She looks down a bit ashamed for being caught.. and to think she was almost going to try to get an apple. If this orchard was someone else's.. That would be stealing and that is bad. She looks up at him." Why does your coat glow?" She is curious.. Not really sure what to do now.. Perhaps leave but she is wanting to know the answer to her question.
