This is a pairings thread to kick around CC breeding ideas! And other ideas, natch, but mostly CC breeding ideas. My other thread was kind of an abandoned tire fire, so let's start over, yeah?
So what I'm gonna do is have up a few eligible kin and I'll post what I'm looking for- and if you have something you think will suit and wanna go for it, we'll go for it!
A few notes on breedings: I am always down to bribe. I am usually down for RL. I prefer non-growing breedings. If you know a newbie, I am always up for newbie sacs. I like to get blessings. I usually don't have time to RP, but it doesn't hurt to ask. My ideas are just that: ideas. I'm only ever going to be posting three to five kin in here at a time, so if you're flipping through my kin and go "hey, one of mine would look good with that," let me know either here or on Slack or wherever. Most of mine aren't off-limits for flings! In fact, it'd be easier to list the exceptions to that. The Holy or the Broken, Half Truth and Conquer are pretty much always going to be off the table. Welcome Home Fair Hunter is heavily plot-bound and while she is open to breeding, I'm gonna be really picky with her. But it never hurts to ask!
And now without further ado, my pair ideas for December 2016's CCs!

a royal pain in the a**
What would be nice: dear god, pretty much anything. His colors are pretty bold. I'd love to get some nice blues in there. Or gem tones, that might be really pretty! What I’d like to avoid:Democracy. (and pastels and browns, those might look kind of weird. Special Notes: I really want to use a naming theme for this fella's kids- specifically a naming theme from the song he's named after (and its two reprises), so if you kind of like that idea, hit me up.

What would be nice: I'm open to a lot of ideas. Kin with blushy noses would be ideal- I love blushy noses and he's got one and they're just so cute. I also would LOVE to pair him with some horsey-looking kin, especially other kimeti or kios. What I’d like to avoid: Clashy edits- anything too hard-edged probably wouldn't work super great. Special Notes: His last kids all had Puritan-esque names and hot dang would I like to do that again, if you're up for it.

WELL! I have some ideas and I like to plot. >w< I don't usually have much gaia gold and mainly rely on CCs but if you're really keen I'll usually be happy to pitch in my part to a basic adult only RLC breeding.
I Will Work Harder x Watch the Skies or Morning Light
Okay, so on the left is Watch the Skies who is well... it's probably just easier to link to her journal entry and provide this excerpt from my pairings thread: "As a Mother: Well now, these children will be raised right. You can be sure of that! Watch will make sure her offspring are raised with manners and schooled in all the worldly (and otherworldly) knowledge she has to impart. She might end up a bit suffocating haha, but negotiation wouldn't really be an option. She'd be perfectly fine with the father being absent, less cooks in the kitchen and all that, but if the father wanted to stick around he better just be ready to cooperate or get out of the way!"
So she has strong ideals, but perhaps they are in the same ball park of his Puritan-esque theme? I was pretty much done with breeding Watch, as she'd be more interested in pairing off any of the 8 of her current daughters with suitable bucks than finding partners for herself but if she's your preference, I'd make an exception for him... but plot wise she'd probably try to steer him to her daughters first and foremost and would need some persistent pursuing for her to have him for herself instead. ;D
As for her daughter on the right, Morning Light is one of her youngest daughters and the purest, sweet young lady of a doe. Light is good, fair, optimistic and kind. If her slobbish mother had any criticisms of her daughter it would be that she is doesn't have enough self driven determination and resilience, she hasn't been taken advantage of yet but it's just a matter of time. She is basically Snow White before the story began in kin format and I like her that way for now. If you're interested in her for I Will Work Harder, would she be able to retain her innocent mentality? What would be be like as a partner? (Temporary or otherwise)
I Will Work Harder x A Whim's Mercy or Clove
A Whim's Mercy on the left is a wild card, her behaviour is very unpredictable and flows on whims. Her first clutch she ended up finding her way to the Mother's Tribe and left her young in their hands, it's hard to say what she'd do never time, she might abandon then, she might decide to be present for a period of time, who knows? As for actually doing the deed with a buck, she'd pursue or consent in much the same way. Her whimsy ways might be a little incompatible with I Will Work Harder and chances are, unless he sticks to her like glue afterwards, he'd probably never know they'd conceived. But visually they'd make very pretty babies? XD
Another of Watch's daughters, Clove on the right, is a emotionally and intellectually mature doe that's very kind, understanding and amenable. She'll eventually serve as local councillor for Lolli's to-be tribe: The High Society. She was raised by her mother and so has most of the manners and reflexes of a lady but she's far more tolerant and patient with others that have different beliefs or ways of life. She'd be pretty easy to be with for I Will Work Harder I think, if you like the look of them. :D
I Will Work Harder x Moth Bitten
Alright, I'm gonna be up front here and say that Moth Bitten is bad news. She is a con artist and she will endear herself whomever will give her benefit by being the perfect companion, have you wrapped around her finger so as long as she sees fit. She'd probably do the deed with I Will Work Harder, exploiting him for care, food and maybe shelter then hit the road when she feels board or like she's had her fill. Once she realises she's pregnant she'll either return to manipulate him into caring and providing for her until giving birth and recovering. Then she'd hit the road again, leaving the kids and responsibility with him. So yeah if you like the idea of drama and I Will Work Harder trying his hand at being a single dad, that's what Moth Bitten has to offer him, aside from stella genetics. :b
Edit: Double checked what I'd written about her previously vs my memory and this description probably suits her a bit better:"Bitten is a fence sitter, only crossing to favour which ever side will grant her the best position, lifestyle, food, you name it. She is sweet as honey but conniving and callous when she feels like it. However underhanded her intentions, you'll never catch her in a lie and she'll sooner kneel down, play nice or roll over than meet confrontation. She is a seducer, a harlot and hasn't an ounce of shame about it."

Though I'm not 100% sure that Sun-Bleached isn't related to her... I tried going through his tree but it's early and he's like, 11th gen, so he might be. The others definitely aren't, being 1st gen.

Man, I have had the BIGGEST goat-crush on Will, you have no freakin' clue. Okay, here goes nothing.
oh MAN he'd be really perfect for Morning Light. He's extremely honorable and would be a perfect gentleman. He'd show up with flowers and honest speech and intention. I think it'd be a temporary partnership; he's really a solitary man at the end of the day, and while he likes the idea of a big family, he also likes his seclusion- but after it was over he'd check in with her and the adult children would be by to see both parents a lot.

I'd be super down for Thanks and Bare Birch too, the two families happen to meet and then just (polite and carefully reserved but) sparks fly. ;D Bare is one of Watch's just two sons out of ten kids and the only one that still resides with the family group. Sooo he carries a carry a lot of responsibility, he doesn't exactly resent it but if Thanks is the type to shoulder her fair share of burdens and responsibility, that will go down very well with him. His mum (being a fair bit sexist in her views honestly) has taught him it is his role to provide and protect any future partner so he expects a lot to be expected of him and that kind of weighs him down and makes him wary at first, feeling he has enough on his plate but not really unwilling at the same time. ;>
And yesss I adore him with Whim together as well! Very horsey indeed, particularly with patterns in her heritage from the likes of Grey Lady & Strength in Pain!
Feel free to use whatever throwbacks you like, I don't think we could go wrong with these pairs! >w< I pref adults, i can get blessing if you like, i'm way more into just plotting things out rather than RP and... what else... I'm down for a newbie sack if you have someone you want to put down! I think we have a couple floating around at the moment.
