Coast City Streets After Mongul's attack, these streets laid baron and lifeless for year; prompting people to give Coast City the nickname: "Ghost City". However, now after the reconstruction which no one believed would happen; these streets are once again bustling and bursting with life.

Green Lantern Where: Coast City, above the Streets Company: Noone Thoughts: What the? Yellow Energy? Oh this can't be good Equipment: Another night, another outing as the Green Lantern. When he isn't practicing with the Ring he had been given many months ago, he was making sure this City was safer so people can sleep at night. It was a big boost in confidence for the people to see their hometown hero out and about again. He was not Hal Jordan though, but he has basically claimed this city as his hometown after he resigned from the SEALs.
Tonight however was pretty quiet. Other than a few robbers that he turned into the police, there wasn't a lot of criminals about. And he has moved around to other cities to help out other heroes that he has seen about. But honestly, this was not what he was expecting to do the moment he first obtained the ring on his left middle finger. He had thought he would be fighting other Lanterns or supervillains, not being street sweeper for petty criminals. He didn't have to wait long though before he would be alerted to something more dangerous than a robber.
Alert. Yellow Energy detected near Port West Naval Base. Respond immediately.
George looked at the ring and held it up, concentrating on where the Yellow Energy was detected, projecting a map of the city in front of it. It was incredibly detailed, showing every building in the city, himself as a green dot and the yellow dot indicating where the Yellow Energy signature was located. It was a good several miles away, it wouldn't take long to get there and potentially save any lives that he knows are in danger.
Steeling his resolve, George took off towards the danger, going over the simulations he did on Oa. Sinestro Corps were among the many enemies he was taught how to combat against, and out of all of them, he would have the least amount of issues with, if he doesn't let his will falter. They don't have the construct and shield dissolving acid of Red Lanterns, nor the ability to assimilate you into his hoard like Larfleeze. But if you let your will falter, they will turn your fear against you. But George will not let that happen. He was a Green Lantern, and his will is strong. He will not fail.

The mark was a bit off as Liand'r began to descend from his initial jump. He wasn't going to quite make the building, he could tell. Deciding it best to at least try to land on top of the building, Liand'r fired another burst of his starbolts from his feet, sending himself forward towards the building. It worked, he was getting closer to the building. Too close. Too fast. He might have added a bit too much punch to the forward push. Liand'r crashed on top of the building, smashing up the roofing which did little to slow his momentum as he tumbled along the roof. As he slid across the roof, his forward force pushed him through the barrier on the roof. Fortunately he was able to catch himself from falling completely off. “Well, that didn't go as planned...” Liand'r mumbled to himself as he started pulling himself up. Halfway through, he stopped himself, looking down at the ground. Trying to do another jump would more than likely blast a chunk out of the building. The best option, unfortunately, would be to fall. With a heavy sigh, Liand'r let go of the ledge of the roof and let himself all to the streets below. It wasn't the cleanest fall. He smashed into a parked truck on the way down, denting the edge before falling forward onto the pavement. His landing caused a crack in the asphalt and a traffic jam as the traveling cars screeched to a halt to see what it was that just hit the ground. Liand'r pulled himself up from the street, shaking his head from the fall. He was right, it was a bad call. Now he was in pain and caused an incident. Someone had gotten out of their car to check on him and he waved them off, stumbling onto the sidewalk to get out of the road. “It's fine...” Liand'r mumbled. "I'm ok.”He added, passing by the person trying to help him. The man stepped back, taken aback by Liand'r. He wasn't paying attention, so he didn't notice, but the man was caught off guard not only by Liand'r's appearance but also that he wasn't speaking any Earth language. To the man, his words were jumbled gibberish, causing him to back off in surprise. Liand'r passed the man and made his way towards the corner, following something he smelled. Food. He was so hungry. From the travel, to the crash, to the swim and jump into the city, he hadn't eaten in a long time. “Can I get something to eat?” Liand'r asked, stumbling along the sidewalk, falling forward and holding himself up on the vendor cart. The vendor backed away from him. Not running, but stepping back from the orange skinned man. “Food.” Liand'r said, pointing to his mouth. The man took another step back and held his hands up, shaking his head. Liand'r was starting to get frustrated before he finally realized that he couldn't speak the native's language. Not wanting to cause anymore of a scene, Liand'r opted for gesturing, hoping that could clear things up. He pointed to the cart, then to his open mouth, attempting to signal for food. Despite Liand'r trying his best to be non-threatening, the man ran off, leaving Liand'r alone at his cart. Looking around and noticing that some people had stopped to observe, Liand'r just shrugged and took some of the food he had. They appeared to be some sort of wrapped up meat, but he didn't care and just started eating on the spot.

Green Lantern Where: Naval Base Company: Liand'r Thoughts: Alright, where is this guy? Equipment: The trail where the Tamaranean was going was not a very subtle one. Especially since he can see where starbolts have destroyed parts of the street below him, and in front of him he can see the wrecked roof of a building. This Tamaranean must of been a very clumsy flyer, as the blast craters were far too random to be an attack on the city. He decided to investigate, flying closer to the building and noticing what happened. There were people observing what had just happened, and he saw a orange skinned man wearing alien clothing, eating what looked to be hot dogs from a cart.
From the looks of things, he may of found who wrecked this part of town. Coming down for a landing, he looked to the people gathered around and smiled, "It's alright, the Green Lantern has got this covered. You can return safely to your homes," he said to them. He then turned towards the Tamaranean as the small group of people began to disperse. He knew he was honestly the best person to turn to when it comes to aliens, any Green Lantern is or anyone wielding a Power Ring. The ring has a universal translator program which allows him to talk to any alien without the big issue of a language barrier in the way. So when he begins talking to the Tamaranean, the Tamaranean can understand what he is saying, and George can understand what the Tamaranean says. It was a beautiful thing, the people that were still around would hear George say all of this in English, yet the Tamaranean would here what George has to say in his native language. Inversely, George would hear the Tamaranean speak in English, while the people would just hear alien gibberish.
"" began George, ""
The first rule of diplomacy is to look at nonthreatening as possible, yet be ready for any situation. So George stood where he was, letting the Tamaranean have some space, but he isn't pointing his ring at him as if he was ready to attack. As he said, he was just here to help.

Liand'r was busy stuffing his face with hotdogs while the crowd was dispensing around him. He hadn't even noticed that the streak of light in the sky was the Green Lantern coming towards him. He was too busy sating his hunger. He turned his attention to the yellow bottle on the vendor cart and tilted his head upwards at it. He couldn't actually read what it was saying, but from the pictures on the cart, he could see that it was meant to go on top of what he was eating. He stood from his spot to grab it and saw the Green Lantern standing on the other side of the cart. Deciding it was better to try now before he was potentially arrested, Liand'r took a shot of the yellow stuff and smiled. It was a lot better than he anticipated. It was awesome. Listening to the Green Lantern speak, he calmed down, realizing that he wasn't in any trouble. He took note of the fact that the Lantern was pointing to his ring. Clearly a display to let him know that he was ready to fight if need be. Liand'r wasn't there to start trouble. He was only on this planet because he was lost. Not that he really had anywhere else to go. “Umm... Hi.” Liand'r began. “My name is Liand'r. I crashed here a little while ago and now I'm stuck." He explained. He wasn't sure if he should make mention of what he was doing on the vessel. He knew Green Lantern's were like police and it may not have sounded good for him to explain that he was on a pirate ship. Or that he had killed its previous crew. “I didn't mean to cause so much trouble. Just, the air is the fastest way to get around, and I can't exactly fly... Have you tried this yellow stuff though?” Liand'r said, holding out the bottle of mustard. “It's amazing.”

Green Lantern Where: Naval Base Company: Liand'r Thoughts: Liand'r. Taking note of the name for future reference Equipment: Well he wasn't actually pointing his ring at Liand'r, but still the Tamaranean looked at him as if he was going to attack. From what he is gathering so far from what the alien was saying, he seemed to be much younger than George is. If he had to guess, he is barely drinking age, maybe even younger. He certainly was not a child or a tween. George relaxed a bit once he knew Liand'r, for now, was not a threat. In fact he seemed to be more intrigued by mustard on hot dogs than anything.
"," he answered, ""
He then decided to take a seat beside Liand'r, smiling for the younger alien as he grabs himself a bun and hotdog and made his own before putting mustard on it and looking at his new friend, ""
If need be, he can put Liand'r in a construct and transport him elsewhere to discuss what just happened. Liand'r doesn't seem like a threat, more of a lost and scared young alien than a threat. Taking the less hostile route will help him more than just arresting him on the spot.

“Mustard?” Liand'r questioned, more to himself than to his new Green Lantern friend. “Well it's awesome.” He added, taking the bottle and drinking straight from it. He listened to the rest of what the Lantern had to say. He was right. However unintentional, Liand'r had caused a lot of damage. It was certain that the damage he caused would bring the attention of the planet's authorities. It was obvious from their encounter that the Green Lantern, while certainly a presence on this planet, was not the main authority. But he was offering him an out on getting in trouble for his accident. He wasn't going to look that gift horse in the mouth. “Oh, cool.” Liand'r chimed up. “Where are we going?” He asked. He didn't really know how, well, average life went on this planet. All he really knew was that now he needed a place to stay. After all, he was stranded. “Can we go some place with more mustard?” He asked cheerfully. “And snacks. I'm still really hungry. And I kinda feel bad cause I took this guy's food after he ran away, so I don't want to eat all of it.” He said apologetically. He looked into the stand and saw that he had already eaten most of it and frowned. “Even though I already sort of did that...”

Green Lantern Where: Naval Base Company: Liand'r Thoughts: Liand'r. Taking note of the name for future reference Equipment: Liand'r had the right idea about George's status towards the police: yes he has a presence and he does help with protecting the city, but he isn't judge, jury, or executioner. Usually he leaves criminals in an Earth jail unless it's a known enemy of the Corps that is too dangerous to leave on Earth. Then they get taken to Oa. That was where he would of taken the Sinestro Corps woman if she came quietly,
George smiled a bit when he saw Liand'r drink mustard right out of the bottle and chuckled as he finished his hot dog and stood up, ""
When he asked where they were going, George looked around and then at his ring. He may need to charge it so he doesn't run out of juice, but his battery is at home. George hadn't quite gotten around to storing his battery in a pocket dimension, so he hid it in his closet, in his dresser. Besides, Liand'r needs clothes to blend into society, and what he has on won't do. So after a bit, he answers, ""
With that, George raised his ring and enclosed Liand'r in a green bubble, adding as he began to rise up in the air, ""
Then he continued rising into the air, higher and higher, towing the green orb with a green tether as he flies over towards his apartment.

Liand'r just nodded as the Green Lantern spoke, continuing to drink the mustard. Apparently he was going to take him to whatever an apartment was. It was where he lived, obvious by what the man said, but Liand'r didn't exactly know what they were. He shrugged and let the thought go, figuring that the people of this planet wouldn't let someone like a Green Lantern, who he had only heard of in high regard for the past year, live in squalor. The only people he knew that spoke about the Lantern's in any sort of negative light where his old captives. He didn't resist when the Lantern put him in a bubble to fly him away. He couldn't fly on his own, so any assistance was welcome. Before the bubble completed, he made sure to grab another full bottle of mustard. No point in letting that go to waste. “New clothes and snacks!” Liand'r said excitedly. If he had to be honest with himself, he'd been wearing the same outfit for what he could only guess had been weeks. Without a bath too. He probably smelled horrible, fortunately it seemed that no one had noticed, not that they could tell him anyway. That being said he was excited to go somewhere he could rest and change. And get more food. As the Green Lantern lifted him into the air and flew off, he couldn't help but smile a little. This was what flight was like? It was, nice, to experience what his people could do. Even if it required a little assistance from a third party. He took another gulp of mustard and looked off towards the distance. (Exit)

As Justin tailed behind the van containing Catwoman and the diamond he saw a massive trail of smoke coming from the ocean. This can't be good. She can take care of herself and there's a tracker on the jewel, so this can take a back seat. he thought to himself. As he ripped the brake of his motorcycle, the tires screeched loudly as he changed his course and dashed through another section of town.
With any luck, the other local in Coast City was already on top of it, but Justin wasn't one to wait around for someone else to clean up a mess if he happened to see it. A smoke trail that large usually meant something big, like an explosion or superpowered confrontation. If so, that took precedence over chasing mobsters and a jewel thief. he grit his teeth over leaving Catwoman to be subjected to whatever that family had in store for her, but one life against the city's was an easy choice for him to make. As he weaved in and out of traffic he turned a sharp corner and began heading off towards the coast line. (exit)
