Bio: Born in the kingdom of water she was the child of an infamous harlot and his cursed pirate wife. The two met in prison and managed to escape together, later deciding to get hitched unofficially because why not? They and their daughter went on adventures around the world together. Her mother taught her how to operate a pirate ship and her father taught her how to... well lets just say she was popular with the guys. However the child, pampered with stolen loot and eager to play with the world and the people in it took an interest in the magical sciences especially since a curse had been passed onto her, one that tampered with her magic and somewhat with her path in life as she was doomed to fall into a life of crime and bizarre unethical behavior. Her parents kidnapped a few wizards to teach her magic only to find she had a strange power that made her magic a bit difficult to predict. It turned out she was the vessel of some dead chaotic spirit due to pure luck.. or something like that. May have had more to do with her lineage on her mother's side but anyone who questioned it risked getting tossed overboard by a crazy pirate lady.
In the end she didn't exactly become a wizard of any kind, she didn't have the patience anyways but she did become an apothecary of the illegal variety, a drug dealer in otherwords. One that studied the magical aspects of such products and later hunted rare treasures to enhance such properties. So enthralled with this part of her work she later became a treasure hunter and a very reckless one at that. Through self experimentation and reckless disregard for the unfortunate condition of her own magical capacity she stopped aging, gained some other weird powers and traits, and became something of a tale of caution among magical communities. Every now and then she'd pick up a sponsor or two due to her courage when it came to her studies though she'd quickly lose these due to her illegal pirating activities in order to get what she needed for her ambitions and their unwillingness to be associated with such a person so she started doing business with those that could handle this.. other criminals.
During her time working for criminal organizations she began getting into unethical experiments and other bad things. She would quickly return to general piracy for a while however due to a dislike for managing debts and contracts. She used her skills to engineer ships and go on treasure "hunting" expeditions and became known for her rather odd exploits in the realm of thieving and looting. In one case she'd find herself unable to break into a castle so she managed to simply steal the entire castle along with its guards. Since these times she's resumed her training however. She faded into obscurity for about a decade to learn more about magic after she attempted to force herself on a magical woman and they ended up in some weird contract.
Personality: Not a very good person. Hypersexual and loves candy. Doesn't like taking responsibility despite always doing bad things someone will have to take responsibility for.
Family: Her parents might still be alive. She has siblings somewhere. She doesn't care too much about either though. She is contracted with a summon of some sort from an artifact she stole once.

Powers:
Her magic is changed according to the place she's in and the magics of used by those around her.
She uses water magic in general and has a natural talent for it and can use absolutely any variation of it, however she cannot control what type she gets to use except by changing what she is surrounded by. If somebody nearby is using fire magic her water magic will manifest itself as water + fire = steam or something similar. If she is in the fire kingdom then by default there will be steam and ice will be unlikely unless an ice wielder is affecting her somehow. If there is no specific element in play or its just hard to explain why anything in particular is resulting a die roll will be used for different effects.
Her summons aren't directly under her control no matter what. They will sense a sort of familial relationship with her but even if she were to clone herself each copy would have its own free will. Any summon nearby that she attempts to impose her will upon will become free to disobey its master even if that means breaking contracts. The consequences of said broken contracts will still apply the summon just has the ability to breach it even if mind controlled. A horde of mindless zombies being controlled by a lich will suddenly just be a horde of mindless zombies with nobody controlling them if she calls out to them or attempts to control them in any way. Nobody will be safe though a lich could probably hide among zombies and not get his brains eaten or something. If a summon simply wishes to continue obeying its master it is also free to do so but if a hellhound that isn't being controlled tries to do something complicated like solve a rubics cube it might be harder without an archmage telepathically controlling its movements.
Alchemy - She can gather materials that seem about right and turn them into something else based off their properties using water based magics or tools. Obviously more powerful effects will require more powerful and rare ingredients or larger amounts of less hard to get ones. It doesn't have to be scientifically accurate, it just has to make enough sense that the story can continue.
Favorite spells she will be using many variations of
Summon golem - Specializes in sortof random smaller minions that just completely ignore most of what she says but she can also make one big one. She has to find some way to get them to do what she wants or get someone else to control them. She CAN however create them with a particular directive. Like she could summon a golem that likes to destroy walls and doors. But it would need to be oddly specific and cannot be changed until resummoned.
Transmute (works differently based on the elements available) - think full metal alchemist
Bomb creation - she can make anything into an explosive, maybe not something dangerous but she can turn a bag of cookies into an exploding bag of cookies... or cookies that explode in your mouth.. with flavor. She will need highly noticeable magic to even the most untrained eye to make a cookie into something too dangerous to put into your mouth. Usually whatever it is will be ticking or pulsing with power. She can also do this with chemicals.
Water cage - she can entrap a person in a bubble of water or multiple people. they can drown inside it. She needs some sort of water source for this. She will get a different variation depending on where she is or who or what is around her. Sometimes it will be something awkward or useless but it will surround a person and hold them in place until they manage to escape or dispel it with repelling magic. It can be assumed that anyone formally trained in defensive magics at an actual academy or by someone who could teach at an academy or just someone who works a lot with water magics would be capable of "dealing with this" in some way or another.
Suppress magic - She can use a big flashy counter spell ability to counter a spell or discontinue some continuous magic.

Big stupid little homunculi things- she can summon one really big stupid little homunculi thing... does the same thing. Follows orders but will probably get it even more wrong than the little ones if you don't watch him.
Phantom ship - has its own ghost crew and captain. The captain is some guy who slipped her ancestor a mickey and got her pregnant at a bar somewhere. He's not fond of getting summoned randomly but will do a favor in exchange for sacrificed gold or other loot. It disappears and reappears in a hidden place somewhere. Can only be summoned at or near the ocean. They could be summoned to fire ghosty cannons on a location for example if you can call out loud enough to reach them from your location.
