The snow was drifted deep this time of year. It had come hard and heavy to the forest and blanketed everything in white. Almost looked like a sculptor had come through and carved the landscape out of marble. The only thing that made it different was the cold and wetness of the snow. Clouds coated the skies, light as they were, but still able to drop snow when it pleased. For the moment the thick forest of evergreen trees was shelter from such things as they low hanging branches made suitable shelters against the wind. Dragomir was out in this cold afternoon hunting for something to eat. The snows had fallen shallow behind certain branches uncovering winter preserved berries and some scattered tree nuts the other animals had lost at some point. While the elder usually wore a cloth over his face, today is was brushed back to allow him clear sight. It seemed safe enough, though now blessed with the gift of Aquarius, he had better control over his visions. The less headaches he had the better he was. For now, he was more interested in getting something to eat. He is never expecting to meet others out here in these harsh climates.
