Are you dressing up? Trick o' treating? passing out candy? Going to a fair? So many options!
For me, I'm working until 7pm, so I probably won't get to do much lol. My coworkers and I talked about maybe dressing up, but our dress code makes that a little hard. After work I plan on turning on some lights outside my apartment, but there's not a lot of kids, so I didn't get TOO much candy, but I hope it's enough!

Easy Question. I celebrate my birthday on Halloween. This year is a milestone because I'm going to be 60 years young. I was their and watched Anime on TV going back to the 90's I was going to a convention but I can't this year due to lack of funds. Youmacon in Downtown Detroit is on the first weekend of November. If I go I usually either wear an Anime related shirt or Cosplay. This coming Saturday I celebrate my birthday with my family and on Halloween itself I will watch a Horror movie with my wife. I usually watch Horror movies and Horror Genre Anime series throughout October.

I haven't fully decided nor have I checked if I work that day. I'm thinking of doing Princess Peach if I am working that day, but if I do work I will change my plans depending on the time of day I work.
Morning/Afternoon: Kororo (Shaman King), 50s dancing dress, Regency Dress, Renge (OHSHC!), or Ren Faire Dresses would be an option.
However if I'm closing I'd be moving around a lot more so I'd be retricted on what clothing I could wear which means evenings would only have the options of: Attack on Titian Scout (I did Hanji when my hair was long, Asripa (Golden Kamuy), Young Genkai (YYH), Miss Joke (MHA), Charmy (Black Clover), Kiki (Kiki's Delivery Service), and maybe a few others.
That's not counting if I want to whip together another costume. I have stuff to do Anna from Shaman King if I run and get some beads and some red cotton or I could finish my Pokemon Go Girl Costume (just need to do the sleeves).
Princess Peach is sadly too heavy for me to wear while working. My petticoats would probably slip too much.

smithers456 Ashleigh that's a lot of choices. Let us know how it goes and what you picked. I Love Charmy and the Black Clover series!! Kiki is a cute choice too. Have Fun. I'm also in the process of doing Grey from Black Clover too. I'm recycling my Black Bull cape and I have fabric to do the pants.

Even without a convention, that sounds like a fun, relaxing way for your birthday/Halloween! What are some of your favorites you've watched recently? I'd love to know which cosplay you end up choosing! Does your work do any fun events for the day? My work hands out candy to any kids who come in, but that's about it lol. We're supposed to be semi-formal so they don't let us do much more.

I recently bought the animated movie Resident Evil: Death Island. I Love and own all of the Resident Evil movies. I remember playing the original game many years ago. Just watched the Nun (1st Movie). Nun's can be scary enough but when one turns into a demon it's time to run. Haven't seen the second movie yet. Anime: I'm watching a series called Another. It's about a Japanese girl who died a couple decades ago. She keeps going to school as a ghost. Imagine forever going to school. One of the classics that I usually watch is one of the Nightmare on Elm Street movies. I own all of Fredie's movies. I may watch the Soul Eater Anime series again, soon. If you haven't seen it it's worth a look.

We're supposed to be semi-formal so they don't let us do much more. I work at a Joann's at the moment and in the past we have passed out small crafting kits and candy to children who visit the store. We don't get many, but it's always exciting. I'll probably be the cashier that night if I work (I'll get my schedule later today when I go in for shopping). I'm really good at handling people and fast at the register.

It didn't go bad. I put on my Kero from CCS for Halloween evening. Didn't get anyone for trick or treating, but I'm not surprised.

Did you have fun at work? I had fun. Princess Peach worked well with work. I was worried that it would be too much of a pain to wear. It was, but not for the reasons I was worried about. I got by pic taken for the company costume contest. I do like that I got a lot of smiles out of people. We had a lot of people under thirty and they were like 'okay, you're a good person and clearly a cosplayer'. I joked and told them this year was easy, but next hear I'll have to toss a coin because I'll have many more recognizable characters to pick from. My current plans for cosplay this next year include Cinderella, Rapunzel, and Princess Daisy for sure. I may also end up with a Snow White costume too (I have fabric to do part of the top).

Nice! What'd you two watch? Do you two have any favorite movie snacks? I love to eat popcorn, sometimes when I'm not even watching a movie haha. Its just a yummy snack for me. Aaaa that's so cool! I hope you win the contest! I'm also glad it sounds like the petticoats weren't as much trouble as they could have been lol, nice~~
