It's what every aspiring trainer wants; to gather all the gym badges to be able to take on the Elite 4! Here, you will have your chance to achieve greatness and win some amazing prizes! Read on to learn how to take on the Elite 4...And Champion!
How this Works:
You have 5 days to come up with and post your pokemon team! Please use this site to do so! You may not swap out any members of your team once the Challenge begins However, you may rearrange the order of your team on the first day of each Elite's week. You then will have 5 days to challenge that week's Elite. The order that you post your team in is the order they will face the opposing team's pokemon. You must meet or beat the target number of the Elite's Pokemon in order to KO them all in one round. You will start by rolling 6d20 If your pokemon has a type advantage versus the one it is up against, add a +2 to their roll! If you knock out any pokemon, subtract that number from the amount of dice you roll in your next try! ie you knock out one, you then roll 5d20, then you knock out 3, you then roll 3d20, etc If you do not manage to KO all the pokemon at once, you may try twice more that day with the ones you failed to KO. If you still have not advanced, you may start over again the next day, as long as there is time remaining for that challenge. You do start ALL over again each day, however! If you manage to defeat all 6 of the Elite's pokemon, you will advance to the next week's Elite! If you cannot manage to knock them all out at once, you cannot advance and your journey is over! Should you manage to advance and beat even our illustrious champion, you will get first pick of the above prizes. If more than one person manages to Beat The Elite, first pick will be raffled between them. Fret not! Even if you are bested by the Elite of the Elite, you will still be eligible to win a prize, as all remaining phoxes will be raffled off amongst all remaining challengers! While a RP response for these is not at all required, if you chose to do so there may be a surprise for you! wink

There is a caveat, and that is...there are banned pokemon! (TL;DR; All Legendary, Megas, Mythical and Ultra Beasts) The pokemon below are not allowed to be used in a team! Even if it's not on the list, if the pokemon is considered any of the above they are not allowed!

CHAMPION'S DECREE All rolls will be normal... HOWEVER! Type bonuses are now a +3! HOWEVER The Chaos Clause comes back into effect with a vengeance and the highest number every time you roll will take a -2! i.e. if you roll a 20, it will become a 18. If you roll a 15, and it has a +3 advantage but is the highest number you've rolled, it will only have a +1. If you roll two matching highest numbers, i.e. two 17's, both numbers are affected! AND You may instead choose the Gambler's Lucky Blessing and accept an additional +2 for all pokemon in your third try of the day... but only if you forgo adding any bonuses on your first two tries! This would make any type bonuses a +5! HOWEVER Should you use the Blessing, the -2 Chaos Clause will inflate to a -3! i.e. you roll a 12, it has an advantage and it becomes a 17, but it then becomes only a 14, and if it's your highest number it becomes a 13.
If you successfully knock out all the pokemon, please quote viatorai in your winning post! Should no one manage to beat the Champion, we will instead go by whoever has knocked out the most of the team in the end!
