Welcome To the Safari Zone!


(Please note the sprites on the map above do not necessarily reflect what pokemon are in the areas below...)

Whew, it's been a while but staff have been hard at work cleaning up the Safari Zone for everybody!
While there had been some rumours of unsettling noises and shadows by former guests, Staff believe there is nothing to be afraid of at all! They've scoured every inch of the Zones, and are confident that it's ready to be opened to the public!

Upon submitting their non-refundable entry fee of 500 platinum (to be sent to Phoxy Chef), Trainers agree that they will not take legal action against the Safari Zone for any sort of...spookening.

Ahem. Anyhow, get out there and catch those pokemon!

Opens: October 16 @ 10:00am MST
Closes: When There Are No More Prizes!

You may participate and enter the Safari Zone at any time - there is no sign-up cut-off! But you MUST submit your 500 Platinum to enter!

• All players begin at the entrance, regardless of when they start the maze!
  
• Twice per day, a player may choose a cardinal direction to travel in and post the form below.
  
• A player may choose to search twice per day. (Total; not per location.)
  
• You may make two movements per post
  
• You may also make two searches per post.
  
• If you wish to forgo movement and just search one square the entire time, you can certainly do so (but where's the fun in that?)
  The movement and search limit may be adjusted as people move through the Safari Zone!
  
• In your movement post, should you decide to search, please roll 2d20!
  At the end of the day, Staff will see where everyone is and reply to you with your result, and determine if you have 'caught' something!
  
• We will give you an opportunity to keep that which you have caught or not.
  
• There are at least 4 prizes to be won in each zone!
  
  
• Rollover is at midnight MST. Any posts made after Midnight MST will be considered as the Next-day.
  
• Players should track their own progress in the map included below.
  
• Direction/search posts must be accompanied by at least 2 sentences of RP.
  
• You may Roleplay as either one of your phoxes or yourself.
  
• Once you capture and decide to keep a prize, you may re-enter from the entrance (And submit a secondary 500p fee) to try and capture and keep a second!
  
• You may potentially win 2 prizes from this game, they WILL count individually towards your 3 paid win limit! They won't count towards any win limit!
  
• Staff MAY Participate, but may not win anything they themselves have colored!
  
• The game ends when the Safari Zone is emptied.
  
• WARNING: This game may include prompts that contain textual descriptions of gore, spiders, maggots, body horror, et cetera.

[Phoxy Chef]

Green Lines: Be careful walking through the long grass! Pokemon may jump out at you! Takes one movement to pass through.
Black lines: You CANNOT Pass through this dense, impenetrable foliage no matter how hard you try!
Red Lines: It's a bit rough going and you feel a chill up your spine as you wander into these areas that seem to be wildly unkempt and suspiciously foggy...These areas take two movements to pass through.
Rest Zone: Nothing Happens, you're able stop and take a breather in a protected area where pokemon will not wander. However you are now able to use one extra movement!

Remember!:
If you are searching, roll 2d20 (two 20-sided Dice)
If you roll between a 5 and 15 on either dice, you've seen something you can catch! Refer to the list below to see what you can have seen!
After rollover, Staff will quote and roll themselves to see if you've caught something!
You MUST give us at LEAST 2 sentences of Roleplay as either yourself/trainersona or a phox you own! If you do not, your post is void.
You MAY edit in RP after you've rolled but it MUST be before rollover!

Revel decided to pack a bag and go adventuring in the Safari Zone, she hadn't had much luck catching any pokemon elsewhere so this seemed like a good opportunity to find something, or at the very least maybe encounter some rare pokemon. She hiked up her back onto her shoulders and moved through the first patch of long grass, searching for any movement.

A great journey starts with the first step!

Unfortunately, this first step found you stepping into a hole that you recognize has been made by a Diglett! The evidence is there, but the pokemon is not!

Revel gasped as she fell into a diglett hole, she pulled her foot out carefully, wincing a little as her ankle hurt just a bit but she could still walk on it, she was stubborn and she had more area to explore. Shifting her pack slightly to the side, she decided to search the next patch of tall grass, being a little more careful of where she put her feet this time.

Irish had heard of the Safari Zone and traveled a long way to get here. To explore this large area seemed daunting but fun. The unknown of which pokemon, if any would appear was the reason she was here.

Looking around, taking a step she moved in past the entrance and turned right heading towards the North. She figured the water area was in that general direction which is why she came here. She looked around hoping to find a pokemon!

What luck to see a pokemon immediately! You wind up for the pitch, your ball sails through the air....

Only for the ball to completely miss and land behind the pokemon!

Sighing she took another step towards the north and.....

You come across a small clearing and carefully step over a log. Something grasps at your back as you step over and you turn back in surprise to find....a gnarled tree branch hanging low. It looks oddly like a hand, but it's surely a coincidence.
