Designers, for this first challenge we want to get to know you all
better. Design a look where your model is doing one of your favorite activities,
and to add an extra challenge, you're going to be dressing her up in a duotone
look. Your two colors must be complementary. Complementary colors are across
from one another on the color wheel and really make one another pop when
side by side. You may choose to go off the traditional color wheel or the RGB
wheel. You must use color though, you can not use black and white. And word
to the wise? If you see other designers using a color scheme, pick a different
one. The judges will not be happy people if there are thirteen purple and yellow
looks submitted. Make your looks stand out!

Comments: I think Naomi looks cute in yellow, and I love the Ghastly purple shade Dame picked. It feels fitting and it's not as boring as just regular warm-toned purple.
Their vision for a cute art-themed avatar is great, and I can see a lot of potential in their outfit.
Personally, I am not too fond of the addition of art cases and the paintbrush belt, I think they kind of mess with the colour scheme, but I also understand that Gaia is severely lacking in certain items in specific colours.
I also think that the mesh top was a great idea, as it kept the outfit well-balanced. Dame's description is also amazing, so that's a plus!

Comments: Cressida rocks in green and red, that colour scheme looks perfect on her! I do wish we had a little peek at how her outfit looks under the book.
I like the ethereal reader idea, though I feel like it could've been pulled off better, perhaps going even harder in the fantasy directory?
Also, I think the background doesn't match the model the best, at least the foreground with the pink flowers and the filter is messing up the whole vibe.
The description also feels a bit lacking, but I understand the stylist was struggling with some irl stuff and needed an extension.

Comments: Red and teal is a great match for Kimber, I think teal looks amazingly on her. However, I do think that the outfit is... quite boring and unmatched?
I understand what Sleepy was going for, but I feel like it could've been improved (maybe a different top or pants?). And the artist theme was already executed better by Dame, so that puts this entry at a disadvantage.
The background was rather unneeded (also not vibrant enough!) and the easel doesn't fit much. I wish Sleepy leaned more into red and teal!
Their description could use a bit of work, I think it lacks more information on why they chose what. But they did mention being a bit rusty, so I am hoping their future entries will get better!

Comments: Wow, Priya is rocking the goshiki scheme! She looks just adorable like that. I love how she looks like she's having lots of fun at a festival.
I do wish that Kr-E didn't rely too much on established Gaia colour schemes or at least put a bit more of a personal twist to their outfit.
Honestly, my biggest gripe is that I feel like the description is slightly lacking. There's not enough information about what inspired the designer and why specifically they chose this theme.
(The fact this is another Asian-themed outfit for Priya is slightly worrying, but I mean, that's just the first entry, so I will give it a pass for now.)

Comments: Oh, wow, that's a beautiful entry and it is surprisingly creative. I love the idea of using two different avatars as a way of depicting the same model.
I do hope in the future we won't get too many double avatar entries because I think the judging will get way too hard this way.
actualdeerooze's usage of the Goshiki scheme is better than Kr-E's, as they didn't rely on it as much in the "normal" Zanna version.
I love that both Zannas share certain accessories, while other things parallel between the two avatars.
The description is also oozing with love for vtuber content and community. It's easily noticeable they know what they're talking about!

Comments: Peachy pink and minty green is one of my favourite colour schemes, and I adore cute lolita fashion, so I might be a bit biased, but I think this is such an adorably perfect outfit.
I loooove all the little details, flowers, and bows. My only gripe would be that some background elements feel a bit too intensely coloured. Perhaps a pastel filter would fix that issue?
I like that Picaru clearly describes their adventure while trying to dress up Pearl, their reasoning and personal feelings.

But I don't like how I can barely see the outfit, why use the dark filter? She's not wearing any dark and moody outfits, she's clearly meant to be bright and sparkling.
Other than that issue, the colours used by wishflower are great, the highlighter green really makes the outfit stand out from the rest.
The description is great, perhaps just a tad short, but I enjoy seeing the designer's love for something.

Comments: I think Lourdes looks great and particularly devious in purple and gold, though I don't get the Queen of Hearts vibes from her outfit (except the speech bubble, I guess).
At first, I thought she was meant to be dressed in a more of a Halloween-themed outfit.
I also don't understand certain choices, such as the orange flower petals in the foreground, they're too bright and don't make too much sense to me. The description is barely there, so there's not much to judge here.
That's a quite weak entry, but I can see some potential in Crimson-Miz13's entry, let's hope their next ones will be better!

Comments: I really like the soft colours and the creative idea, I do think there's not enough orange, perhaps instead of the blue earbuds, supersunshine506 could've used some orange belt or a choker.
Honestly, the hoop is also barely visible, for a while I was convinced the hoop was something I was meant to just imagine in the picture. The description is also very flowery, which makes it slightly hard to read for myself.
I love the part where sunshine gave us a bit more insight into hula hooping as a hobby and the community surrounding it. (Also, supersunshine506 changed the eyes, which is not allowed!)

I do think the description could be a bit longer, perhaps by adding a bit more of yourself or why you chose specifically volleyball for Imani?
Overall, I think that's a great, solid entry.

Also, based on the colour of the text I assumed it would be much more green-hued than it is right now.
Still, I like the look and the idea, though I would've liked it more if NPC took a bit more of a personal approach and told us more about why were they inspired by the Chinese Lunar New Year.

competition, we know you're ready for this challenge. It's a famous one at
Project Catwalk, both feared and eagerly awaited. You have to use the below
wig and build a look around it for your models! This is a challenge to really let
your creativity shine to make your look stand out from the others. We judges
want to be surprised! And to be clear, this wig will replace your model's set
hair for this challenge, but only this challenge. And only the hair is changing.

There are so many different colours and shades it feels too busy and mismatched.

It's especially hard for me to decipher what's going on since my monitor hates shades of black and makes them merge into one dark unidentifiable mess. The circlet looks a bit weird and the rose bushes make me think of Christmas trees!
I do really like the description and the formatting you did. Overall, I would say, this is probably my least favourite out of Kr-E's entries.

The outfit is interesting and quite busy, which I honestly don't hate, especially since you didn't give Harper any hair accessories.
I think the makeup is a bit... too dark? Or too low? Maybe it's the blush that's weird. It looks a bit like she got beat up and has black eyes.
Also I wish the bushes on the sides were softer coloured, perhaps more pinkish with red than green with red. They feel a bit too dark!

this cycle. But this challenge we want to take things in another direction. Black is
required for this gothic haute couture theme. Originating in 1977 at a party hosted by
Karl Lagerfeld and represented on countless more runways, this week we are embracing
haute goth. Black is required. Think couture, hundreds of hours put into bringing these

Though I will agree, I would prefer some sort of arm mod that wasn't bare. Bare arms look kind of too bright and distracting.

Though, I am not a fan of the mouth cover. It doesn't look great, and it also overlays on the veil itself. I would've preferred only the veil or only the mouth cover.

Comments: The outfit itself is great, I like the mix of goth fashion in your entry. It's amazing how you were able to pull off such a beautiful outfit without using any major arm/leg mods!
My biggest gripe would be the background pillows. I wish they were less creamy in colour, something more gray would've looked much better.
I'm also not too fond of the nose mod/makeup, as it makes the face look a little disproportional.

Comments: This colour scheme is great, and blacks look good on Marina. I love how cozy she looks, and a mix of floral and winter goth looks is very unique.
I really don't like the simple backdrop, I wish there was just something more - a grayscale forest, city, park, church, anything really. Simple backdrops can work well, but I think here it's a bit of a disadvantage.
We don't need to see all the angles showing off clipping issues... I can't stop staring at her a** out in the 4th picture.

Comments: I like the colours on Jolene, and the outfit itself is very cute. She doesn't look that gothic to me, more like a gothic lolita. I wish you went more into romantic goth aristocrat style?
Or if you wanted to stick with the background, maybe more circus/carnival goth. The description doesn't make much sense to me, either. Gothic fair where you can find new spouses?
She's looking "sad" and "mournful" with a balloon? I am a bit confused by it all... aaaand the background clashes strongly with the outfit.

Comments: This time, the makeup is just perfect, and I like the colour scheme. I don't know if it's fitting for Harper, but it for sure is making her stand out in the crowd of black-dressed gals.
I love the inclusion of bat wings and the skirt cage. The description is also great!
Overall, I think this is a nice outfit... but not relly for Harper, maybe for a different model?

Comments: I love the idea and the inclusion of different shades of blue. Blue looks stunning on Imani! I think you could've added more black or maybe some sort of darker lower-body filter.
The makeup is a bit too intense, I think you should've picked only one eyeshadow. The outfit doesn't scream goth to me, to be honest. I see the inspiration and understand the logic. I just don't like it much for "goth".
