Meinel was actually buzzing with excitement! She actually liked to spar and found that it was nice to do every once in a while. This time her opponent wasn't Beni, Mara, or Kafka, but Wade and that just made the excitement grow. It would be her excuse to show him that she was more than just a delicate princess. She was in fact, a whole rank above him and she would prove it. Incorporating her ballet with her fighting was a genius move that she's only perfected over time. “Okay so no weapons and no powers right?” She smiled at her ‘opponent’ across from her while she stretched, making sure that smile was full of mischief.

Did she mention that she was excited to beat up her fiancé?

Well she is.

Well this wasn’t exactly the way Wade had wanted to spend their time together but he had to admit that he did need to get more sparing in. It wasn’t exactly high on his to do list. And yet the idea of fighting Meinel just… well it quashed any real desire to fight. However he was willing to humor his fiance, even if he suspected it would end in a massive defeat.

“Yup. It would give you too much of an edge.” While the man was cocky, thinking he would win this fight easily, he wasn’t stupid. The petite woman standing there stretching had magic and that s**t could throw a wrench into things. He hadn’t been planning on using his ‘weapon’ either since the rings were more like a pair of plastic brass knuckles. Not something he would be turning against the woman he would marry.

The officer settled into a boxer’s stance, ready to face whatever his girl was planning on throwing at him. With a c**k sure grin he beckoned her with his fingers, “Ready when you are princess. I’ll even give you the first shot.”

Cocky little b*****d.

Rolling her eyes, Meinel smiled before teleporting to Wade’s side, kicking her foot up high with the intent of hitting him under the chin. She in turn backflipped away with grace, before charging back in. Of course she knew better than to take Wade head on but she could at least make it seem like she would, before dipping low for a spin kick of course. Her new dress, once thought of as a hindrance, seemed to allow for better movement [she just hoped the skirt wouldn't get any shorter].

His eyes widened in surprise when she suddenly disappeared, moving almost instinctually to protect his face. It was the only thing that kept him from actually being kicked in the head, instead his crossed arms blocked the blow. Wade had no idea she was able to do that!

“Hey, no mag-” He started to scold her before his feet were swept out from under him and he landed on the concrete floor with a thud, “ic”. That hurt. It hurt his a**, it hurt his back, and most importantly it hurt his pride. Wade sat up, narrowing his eyes as he took in Mei, “Alright then. If that's how you want to play, we’ll play.” He had been planning on being nice. Had been planning on being the perfect gentleman. But now, all bets were off.

Surging to his feet he barrelled towards her, knowing that his larger size and typically stronger physique would mean his best bet would be to pin her. Restrict her movements and he would control the fight. Just outside of her reach he suddenly changed paths, sliding around behind her and trying to slip an arm around her neck. Not quite a chokehold but the start of one, if she didn’t pull off that teleporting trick again that is.

How did someone fight against that anyway?

Meinel was dancing on her toes with her hands behind her back after that low kick, sticking her tongue out just to add salt to the wound, "That's what you get for thinking I'm a delicate ‘princess’ Wade. I AM a rank above you~” That smile was short lived when she saw said big man [because NOW he looked as big as he is supposed to be], barreling towards her. She tried to run, but she was placed in an almost chokehold. “!!!” Oh that was dirty! Taking a deep breath, Meinel swung her legs up to where she was practically bent in half, trying to hook her legs around his head. Either way, he was going to let go of her or she would have to teleport again, but that sounds like it would be draining. She wasn't ready to lose so she would have to try a bit harder it seemed.

Well… she was flexible, he would give her that. She was also practically hanging on the arm that was around her neck. Finding this both amusing and rather strange Wade did the only thing he could think of at that moment, he held her closer. His free arm slid around her legs and all, so he practically caged her against him. She was practically folded in half, being supported by the arm around her neck and just under her knees. It was definitely bizarre.

“You might be a higher rank Princess… but I’m taller.” He quipped quietly in her ear. She was pretty well trapped and he had no intention of letting her down until she tapped out.

There was a growl of frustration from the small senshi. She couldn't move, couldn’t teleport, and now she was stuck. A breeze could be felt and she KNEW her behind was on display. This didn't work out the way that she intended and…There was a blush on her cheeks. “Put……Me….DOWN!” Meinel tried wriggling out of Wade’s grip, finding it very difficult. Stupid construction work, stupid muscles, STUPID BEN! With his stupid lavender hair and his cocky personality and…Did she want to admit defeat? No. But she HAD to if she wanted her fiance to let her go. “Fiiiiiiiine….” She whimpered, “I concede.”

Ugh, it wasn't FAIR!

He waited until he got that ‘concede’ before he even thought of shifting his hold. First he let her legs go and once her heels were back on the concrete he loosened his hold on her neck. “There we go. That wasn’t so hard now was it?” He asked even as he moved rapidly, taking the opening to slap her a** before backing off, grinning like a cat who had gotten into the cream.

“See… I can get stronger but you can’t get taller.” Wade was poking the bear but it was way too damn fun watching the little princess fume. “Might I suggest you keep your feet on the ground next time.”

That slap earned a squeak, followed by one petty ‘princess’ looking back at him with the fury of a thousand suns. “Oh yeah?” This was about to be rude after Ben oh so nicely let her go, but he would have to learn that not everyone was going to play fair. Meinel raised her hand up, bringing her index finger close to the exposed skin on her chest, as if she was going to activate her power. But instead, she teleported again, reappearing with her legs wrapped around Wade’s neck, jerking back like she wanted to flip over and take him with her. “YOU might be taller, but the bigger they are, the HARDER they fall.”

“No Magic-” He was starting to bark out, aware of her little move right before she triggered her spell, when a sudden weight and physical jerking had him off balance. For the second time that night he landed a** first on the concrete. “Well, I can’t say as this is how I had hoped to find my head between your thighs tonight but I guess I’ll take it,” Wade commented even as he quite literally tapped her leg, signaling that she had that point.

“You hit your head?” He asked even as he twisted in her hold so he could at least look up at her. “Did you know,” Wade started off, “We can always raincheck the sparring and actually finish some unfinished work from a few weeks back.” They had been interrupted after all and right now there was no one on the site, he knew where the cameras were, and he had the keys to the trailer. “Well? What do you say?”

YES!

Meinel loosened her legs somewhat, tilting her head, “No, I'm fine~” Surprisingly she managed to keep her head from getting damaged. Being a super senshi didn't mean she was invincible but she could take a bit more damage than a regular person. Raincheck the sparring? But why? She was about to question when she got her answer soon after. This man, always a one track mind apparently. “Mmmmmn…..” She looked like she was really considering it before getting up. “No~” She flipped her hair then walked off like the haughty rich girl she was. “But…I DO feel like having a race….Catch me fair and square and I'll be all yours~” She didn't wait for an answer before taking off, leaving him in the dust so to speak. If he wanted her, he would come get her.
