Bacchus laughed as the phone read the page’s message to him. He had only the vaguest idea of what a gyroscope was, and little notion of what they were actually for, but he didn’t disagree with the kid’s assessment. A flicker of self-awareness granted him a brief moment of recognition that he had little room to talk.
