With advice from the two humans he’d met so far, Feronia kept himself hidden when out and tried not to be seen by other humans. It wasn’t hard if he kept near the forest by Antisana’s home, but when he roamed further to try and look at some other fields which held various flowers, he knew it was risky.
Keeping hidden behind trees as he reached the clearing of his goal for the night, his ears twitched as he listened and focused to see if he heard anyone. At first, everything seemed still and quiet, so he crouched down low to try and reach some of the flowers right outside of his hiding spot within the forest’s foliage.
It was then he heard the sound of a snapping twig and something akin to a bird, which confused him, given how late it was. Were there night birds? He wasn’t sure exactly just yet, but he froze and kept still, his hand just in the light and holding the bright red tulip he was trying to pluck.

Aiolos knew she should travel with someone but it was always easier just going by herself since she didn't have to talk or worry about being a burden. Her thoughts traveled to Okenite and a small blush formed on her cheeks. She had no way of contacting him and even if she did, it wouldn't be…Great for anyone on either side to see them together. So, she was alone and on her own, traveling to a field to see if she could find any seeds or tasty honeysuckle she could eat. Maybe she could talk to Grieve once more and have her keep her company? Of course she was sure the other senshi wouldnt mind so long as she could pay the appropriate price for it of course.
Shaking her head fondly, she quickly checked to see if there was anyone around the clearing before wandering in, tweeting a tune from an Aiolan song about the moon when she noticed a…Hand? That had a tulip. It freaked her out at first because why would it just be a hand? She couldn't see what was attached to the hand either. “U-Ummmmn…H-Hello?”
—--------------------------------------------------------------------
Oh no, he’d been spotted. Was it okay to pick flowers here? He hadn’t seen anyone to ask, but now they were calling out, so it would be proper to respond, wouldn’t it? Fretting slightly, he moved slowly out from the foliage and looked towards the sound and voice he’d heard.
Having let go of the tulip, he held his hands together in front of his chest as he offered a little bow and nodded. “Oh… Hello. I’m sorry if I was taking something I shouldn’t.” Looking down towards the ground for a moment, he had noticed little headwings and tail feathers on the other person.
“Sorry…” Looking back up, he rubbed at his arm as he really took a look at them. They didn’t look exactly like the humans here, but he’d only met two so far, so he couldn’t be sure. Some of the beads and decorations on their dress seemed normal enough, at least what he was starting to come to know as what was normal when it came to those who were powered up.
“Should… should I go? I don’t want to impose.” Asking hesitantly, he stayed put for now as his ears drooped slightly.
—-------------------------------------------------
Oh! Oh!
From the looks of the person in front of her…Were they like Grieve!? Someone like her!? Aiolos was about to introduce herself when the person said they would leave. Her head wings flattened a little. “N-No go. Stay? Please?” It's rare for her to meet someone like her. “Can pick! N-Not mine~” she took a hesitant step closer, worrying her lip. “A-Aiolos…is name.” She smiled softly, “What y-your name?” maybe if she told them what she was looking for? “A-Aiolos look for flower. Tasty sweet. Nom nom.” She heard that nom nom means eat, and she happened to like the word, “Help find?”
—----------------------------------------------------------
Blinking at the woman’s request, he nodded and reached down to continue picking the flower up. It smelled nice, and the color was so vibrant, something he hadn’t seen on his own planet when things had changed.
Watching as the woman had headwings that moved as she spoke, his own ears perked up and twitched with curiosity as she moved closer. “Oh.. Feronia, that’s my name.” Offering a polite little bow, he then looked around at the other flowers as she mentioned eating them.
“Oh? Are some of them edible here? I wasn’t sure.” Looking at the one in his hand, he didn’t exactly want to test that yet since he had managed to eat something earlier. “Are you from another place too Aiolos?”
—-------------------------------------------------------------
All flowers are edible!
Well, at least to her.
“Yes! Aiolos from…” She pointed up at the sky, “A-Aiolos~” She reached down and picked the same flower as Feronia, chomping down on it. She chewed for a small moment then swallowed, “S-Spicy! H-Hot!” she fanned her mouth, bouncing on her feet while trying to figure out how to get rid of the feeling. Looking at Feronia, Aiolos pointed to her mouth, “H-Hooot! Help!”
—-------------------------------------------------------------
“Oh! Okay but… that one might not be…” Reaching out he didn’t have to wait long to see the reaction and he started to panic.
“Oh no! Aiolos! Uhmmm.” Shifting between his feet, he thought of the metal container of water he kept and pulled it out, quickly offering it to her as she fanned at her mouth. He was also bouncing from foot to foot as he panicked alongside her.
This wasn’t exactly what he had expected to happen from Earth plants, but at the same time, there were ones at home that other insects and avian creatures avoided.
“Ah! Drink drink! Or spit it out!” Urging the water forward, he looked around worriedly to see if the commotion was bringing anyone else forward.
—---------------------------------
Drink?!
Quickly grabbed the metal container, then stared at it while bouncing around. “H-How?! No drink!” She couldn't figure out how to get the container open! “Hot hot hot hot please!”
—---------------------------------
“Oh!Oh!” Scrambling, he opened it for her and held it back out. “Sorry!” He hoped it might help, and just in case, he started to think of what he had with him that might also help; he did have some fruit with him and pulled out an apple next.
“Try this after? Maybe it’ll help?” He wasn’t sure, but in the panic of things, he hoped it might work.
—-----------
Not wasting time, Aiolos took the water as fast and politely as she could, practically gulping it down. The burn was still there so she took the apple and munched at it almost savagely, fanning her mouth but looking thankful at the senshi before her. “T-Thank you!” she didn't think twice, enveloping the deer with a hug. “S-Saved Aiolo’s….Taste thing!” she beamed up at him before letting go. Something was telling her she had to start moving, but she didn't want to loose out on making a friend. “U-Ummmn…Be here next….Time?” She tilted her head and frowned, “A-Aiolos want…Friend with Feronia?”
—------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Glad that things had worked, Feronia sighed in relief before laughing slightly at her word choice. Noticing she seemed to want to head off, he took the thermos back and nodded. “Oh, okay, yes, I can meet you here.”
Though he found it a bit surprising that the other wanted to be friends so fast without knowing much about him. But he didn’t exactly see the harm in it, considering the other was a guest on this planet as well.
“We can be friends, Aiolos. See you next time.” Waving slightly, he watched her go and then went back to looking over the various flowers here. Not that he had any plans on eating the unknown things, but he wanted to know more about what grew in this world.
