From the Halls of Montezuma
To the Shores of Tripoli;
We fight our country's battles
In the air, on land and sea;

of United States Marine.

The marines get a bad wrap for being mindless killers. They aren't stupid for how they fight. They're just crazy. The good kind of crazy, mind you. Though I don't want to be that crazy. Rangers lead the way!

My Soldier Friends
Merciless they fought in the night,
While the enemy searched the jungle for light.
They gave their lives for our freedom,
Without the slightest hesitation.
They fought with anger, they fought with pride,
Until their belives had truly died.
The weary rays of my straying eyes,
Would open the past before me,
I could see soldiers coming toward me.
One of them would check the sky,
While sweet memories go through his mind.
Maybe I could tell them why,
I left them all behind.
But now the past is just a memory,
While I stand alone in the cemetary.
Noone knows why I've cried,
Except the soldiers who have died.
I hope they had forgiven me,
And treasure our memories.
