Not too far away from HQ lies a small peaceful lake, tinted a deep cerulean in its liquid hues. Small fish skirt the water's edge as ducks and geese swim upon it's glassy surface. Walking along the lakeside was Tangel. Her own blue form making equally fluid movements to the soft music she hummed. She enjoyed the serene environment here as it was indeed calm and quiet. The only sounds coming from that of nature itself.
She smiled as a small family of ducks crossed her path to enter the lake, then sat with her toes touching the cool waters as she watched them swim further and further away.
She took a deep breath of the crisp air and halfway purred to herself. If there was one thing that was noticably different here than from home, it was the air. At home, there'd be that small n** of salt in the air, since it was right next to shore anyways.
Tangel noticed a little setback in her current moment of solitude, however. She was, in fact, alone... Granted this peaceful view of nature itself could calm even the roughest of hearts, but the fact that for once she had no one to talk to or play with sort of tugged her longing for company.
Giving a gentle sigh, she stuck her toes into the water a little more - smiling only when a tiny fish swam up to investigate them.

Charlie lay on his back underneath the drooping branches of a large willow, just on the water's edge. His paws pillowed his head and his eyes were closed against the thick, leafy shade.
He liked this spot. It was quiet, solitary, and nothing to do but lie there and rest.
He'd been around most of the day, running errands with one of his "sisters". She wasn't really his sibling, they weren't even of the same species, but he was told to call her that, so he allowed his new family that one small victory.
So he was rather tired. That made this quiet little spot all the more enjoyable. Little did he know, that there was another Audio just a few feet down the shore and that all she would have to do was look at the willow and see him among the greenery, at least from that angle.

Tangel sighed once more, her eyes now watching the ducks for a moment longer until a butterfly - like a monarch only with blues in place of the yellows - flitted across her view. She smiled and watched as it fluttered towards the direction of a great willow and landed...
... on another Audio's nose.
She giggled and stood, half skipping towards the other audio in silent curiosity. Who was that? How long had he or she been there without her noticing? Closer inspection proved the Audio to be male, making Tangel blush softly at how handsome he looked now that she had a good look of him.
"Hello..." she spoke softly. "Mind if I join you?" she asked, holding aside a few of the drooping branches to see him clearly.

Charlie wiggled his nose and his eyes blinked open when the butterfly landed on it and he tried to get it to fly off by blowing towards his nose. Not an easy feat, and the butterfly was stubborn.
He turned his head with a sigh when the other Audio approached and the insect finally flew to another perch. She was rather pretty, but it was spoiled on Charlie, because he was never in the mood for company, but most of all, female company. Girls made too much noise.
"If you'd like. I don't own the lake," he mummbled, resuming his former position, his bright green eyes snapping shut again.

Tangel giggled softly and shook her head, sitting nearby. "I'm not sure if anyone owns the lake, though if they did, I'm sure they wouldn't mind as long as we took care of it!" she smiled warmly then cleared her throat as close to quiet as she could.
"My name is Tangel." She purred faintly and flicked her tail into the wind some. "What is you name, if you don't mind me asking?"

Charlie sighed and opened his eyes again. She seemed intent to ruin his solitude. "Charlie. Tangel... That's a different name. Never heard that one before," he said and looked her up and down. "Suits you," he added, turning his head to lok back up to the leafy green canopy. He wondered a bit why she wanted to talk to him but shrugged it off for now.

Tangel smiled softly and blushed at the comment. She had heard that alot from her human and the rest of her adopted family, but never from another Audio... then again... she had only met two others...
Murring softly she pulled her knees softly to her chest. "Charlie suits you too..." she blushed again. Her head then tilted, letting a cheek rest upon one of her knees. "So what are you doing out here all by yourself, Charlie?"

"I like to be by myself. There's too much noise at home," Charlie replied, blinking a couple of times then closing his eyes again. He had glanced at her, when she had spoke, and noticed the rosey tint to the white fur on her cheeks. It almost made him smile cheekily.
Of course he'd had his "human", for lack of a better word, gush over him and random human girls, too. But he'd yet to have a blushing affect on anyone, human or Audio. It was rather amusing.
He shrugged over his name. "I donno. Charlie can suit pretty much anyone. Tangel's different, though," he said and glanced at her without moving his head this time. "It's a special name that fits only one person. Nobody else has that name."

Tangel blushed again with a soft giggle. "I know what you mean about too much noise at home... My human keeps so many other creatures and pets and things that'll make your head want to spin!" She purred softly at the thought of all those random creatures still getting along in such a cramped place.
She couldn't help but blush again to his words about her name. 'Special...' she thought. 'It feels nice to know that I'm special...' "My human said that she made it up by merging two words together. I've been attracted to the Techno genre of music since before I can remember and she thinks that I resemble an Angel. So she put Techno and Angel together to form Tangel!" Her tail gave another soft flick - its motion alone signalling that she was happy and content.

Charlie let out a very light snort and shrugged. "My human says she named me after one of her relatives who died. Techno's kinda bassey, right? Don't really like that much. I like slow, soft songs," he told her, starring up at the branches so that he wouldn't stare at her.
She didn't make any sense to him. She sounded a little like himself and yet she was so talkative. And friendly, too. He could have used severa oppurtunities to make fun of her to drive her away and leave him in peace, and yet he held back each time. That puzzeled him the most.

Tangel nodded softly. "If it makes you feel any better... She originally named her car Tangel..." She gave a soft snicker to that herself. She usually had a hard time telling other people that, since mostly everyone that knew back at home laughed at her for it until Kylin was noticed nearby.
"As for Techno being bassey...?" She stopped for a moment and shook her head softly. "I... don't care much for the bass... I usually like techno with very little bass. Two of my favorites are actually low in bass. Well... the versions I've heard of them, anyways!" She gave a soft and sheepish grin to her last statement.
"What's your favorite song?" she asked curiously - halfway changing the subject.

Charlie quirked a smile at the thing about Tangel's human and the car, then listened as she explained some finer points of techno. When she asked him what his favorite song was, he scratched the back of his head a little.
"Well, I like 'When I Get Where I'm Going' and... 'What Hurts The Most'," he replied after a moment of thought. Those were two of the many songs he'd been listening to lately.

She smiled and nodded. "My human likes Billy Joel. She sings some of us to sleep at night. The little ones usually cry until she does, but I actually like the lullabye she sings to them. It's called, "Goodnight My Angel..."... Have you heard of it?" she smiled, though half expected him to be clueless.

Charlie thought a moment, then shook his head. "It sounds familiar, but I'm not sure. It's like an echo of a tune," her replied with a shrug. "I do know who Billy Joel is though," he added, humming a couple of lines from "Why Should I Worry". Oddly enough, he found he was beginning to enjoy her smile.

She only smiled and shrugged. "It's a very pretty song. I'd suggest listening to it at least once. It's a slow song, so you might find it enjoyable." She thought for a moment then remembered some of the stuff Ky had told her of the famous artist.
"Billy Joel is a middle aged man who writes both the lyrics and music for his songs. He plays the piano very well and I've even heard he plays other instruments in his songs too! From what I've heard, most of his songs tell stories. Some tragic, some..." she giggled softly with another shrug. "... not so tragic..."
