The young cub smiled broadly, staring down at his reflection in the large puddle. Oh, yes, he was becoming quite the looker, and the beginnings of a mane were beginning to show. He had grown considerably during the last few months. There was a distinct difference in size from the new born cubs and himself.
Oh, and there were a whole lot of new females wandering about.
His face took on a dreamy look, his mind pulling out a list of every female that had crossed his path. Mentally he began to sort them in order of who he favored the most, Mosi, Chinara.... The list went on and on.
Ezeoha shook his head, the list of females dissolving into the back of his mind. He couldn't let him daydream when prospective females were out and about. He had to be ready to sidle up to any one of them... and if there was a group... Well, that would be tricky, but he was sure he could milk all of them to their cores.
He laughed, his voice rich and warm despite the evil little plots involving females circling in his head.

Jini walked slowly through the grasses, his ears twitching a little as he looked up at the sky. He had managed to slip away from Mosi's grasp for a little bit...after all, while he had fun with his sister, sometimes he liked doing something nice and quite. Like watching the fish in the pond! Yeah, he liked that.
He smiled to himself, looking adorably happy as he loped along, avoiding flowers and insects on which he didn't want to step. He was a rather peaceful little boy. Where he got it from it was impossible to say, since his family seemed so firey in spirit.
As he was going he spotted the shape of someone familar. He frowned a little, looking uncertain. Ohh...it was Ezzy. He didn't dislike Ezzy, but sometimes it bothered him how he acted. Wasn't it rude to flirt with so many girls? And it felt wrong...somehow he knew Mommy wouldn't aprove of little ones flirting about. But Ezzy was a friend, so...that was all put aside.
He slunk forward shyly, giving a lopsided smile, "Hey Ezzy..."

Ezeoha frowned mentally as his eyes caught the form of Jini. Jini was certainly male... though at times he did act as frail as some females were. He had been hoping for a female, but the situation itself presented him with some very interesting possibilities. Mosi was Jini's sister... and Ezeoha was quite fond of Mosi. It would be to his advantage to weedle his way into the hearts of Mosi's family. Besides, Jini wasn't that terrible.
"Hello Jini! Lovely day, is it not?" He almost sounded awkward, as if talking to another male was something he did not do quite enough of. He was used to taking on a flirtatious air in his voice, but he couldn't do that with Jini. The poor lion cub would be scared out of his fur if Ezeoha accidentally slipped up and took on a flirtatious tone of voice. He was going to have to work on voice control a little harder.
He put that on his list of things to do, which was placed neatly beside the list of his favorite females.

It was a very nice day, Jini thought. All his ill thoughts on Ezzy were dumped away for the moment and he smiled a little, looking less uneasy then before, "Y-yeah, it is! It's nice and warm and uh...the clouds are so puffy and white today!" It seemed only someone like him would notice something so silly and be happy about it.
Well...Jini could be happy doing almost anything. After all, one of his favorite passtimes was watching fish swim around in the pond not far from the den. Did anyone else like doing that? Mosi didn't...but then, she was always fully of evergy and had to be doing something, just like Mom.

Ezeoha's new priority was befriending Jini. The more good connections he had with Mosi's family, the better off he was. They would be less likely to object when Ezeoha flirted with her, if they managed to catch him in the act. He was much better behaved in front of Mosi's family than he was when they were gone and he was alone, romping around with his friend Mosi.
"Indeed they are," Ezeoha noted, tilting his head upwards and staring at the sky. Jini was an odd cub, noticing such things, but Ezeoha was odd in a few ways himself, just not as odd. "It's a perfect day for play, I'd say. But all the other cubs are just scattered about, and I would've thought it to be fun if we all played one giant game together."

Completely unaware of Ezeoha's intentions, Jini had to agree. "Oohhh, you're right. That would be nice! Though it's shame we can't go gather everyone together for it," Jini murmured, looking thrilled by the idea, but a little sad that they could actually do it. The cub still didn't know many other lions his age in the area, mainly because he was always chasing after Mosi or doing something nice and quiet. He really did need to get out and make some other friends!
"Maybe we could play...a smaller game...?" he suggested.
