Nothing was visible but a tail. Concealed by the tall, green grass on a hillside Kia was laying belly up. Her green eyes darted across the heavens to admire the clouds and a serene blue that, accompanied by the warm sun, made her feel rather sleepy.
So far her original goal of meeting other lions was not near being accomplished, but she wasn't bothered. After all, the sun was still high and she had plenty of time to find some new acquaintances. Now, however, seemed prime time for a nap. Rolling onto her side, Kia's eyelids drooped considerably as her jaws stretched wide open into a large yawn.

Mkosaji'Kosa wandered around the grassy pridelands, searching for something to occupy her time. She hadn't come across anyone as of late, not even her brother. Kosa lazily looked around, not inclined to get anywhere quickly. She figured if anything was to happen, it would come to her.
She sighed slightly, stretched and continued to walk. She hadn't the faintest idea of where she was, but she didn't care much either. Suddenly, Kosa felt something under her paw. It was solid, but not like a rock. It was soft and warm. Without moving her paw, she looked down at the lioness under her foot. "Now how did you get down there?"

The juvenile had come quite close to slumber, but was unfortunatly not allowed to enter that state. The female coughed as she felt the weight of something..... standing on her? On hearing the other's words her mouth curled down in a sort of grimace of confusion and horror. With the change of her expression also came a change of state. When once she was breathing deeply and almost sleeping, she was now wriggling like a dying caterpillar and whining quietly.
"WHAT IS GOING ON" she wailed. although however much she struggled she didnt seem able to free herself from this other creature's.... weight.

Kosa laughed and raised her paw just above the females head, then poked her with it. She sat behind the female and looked at her with her big blue and gold eyes. "I was walking and you were in my way. Why should I move for you?"
Kosa often never did anything for anyone, unless it was her brother or a god/goddess who was bigger than her. She like to cause trouble when she could by stirring the sins inside others. She found it amusing watching what she could make others do with her influence.

She snorted as she got to her feet, looking rather disgruntled and not seeming to be in a very good mood after being woken up, poked, and..... stepped on. "Well...... you should move for me because..." she frowned slightly, her nose wrinkling as she searched her mind for a good reason "....becaussee.... well because I was there first." she nodded, exhaling very sharply and indignantly as if her reason was the best reason in the world and nothing could combat her reasonings

The female was larger than Kosa, considering she was only a cub. She gave a smile and swayed her tail back and forth. She streched her wings to their full length which revealed a marking. The marking of Sin. Her silver jewelery sparkled in the sunlight. Her eyes showed a mix of things: wrath, greed, pride, sloth, lust, gluttony, and envy.
"It doesn't matter to me if you owned the land, because it doesn't matter to me." She sighed and looked to the sky. She then returned her sight to the lioness. "My name is Mkosaji'Kosa."

Kia had already decided that this female wasn't a very kind one, but there truely was some sort of evil in her eyes that made Kia shudder... even if she was quite a bit smaller than her. She was actually growing rather convinced that this female was a demon and not a lion, her brow rose slightly as she thought of this, but her thoughts were interrupted when out of the blue she noticed something about the other that distracted Kia from her judgements on the girl.
"WOAH!" Her eyes widened, her slight frown dropped with her jaw as her green eyes scanned over the feature of the female that had caused for this sudden change in opinion "You have..... WINGS!" Kia strutted over to the side of the female "Can I touch one?" she slowly reached out her paw for a wing, a childish grin stretched from ear to ear. She had heard the cub's name, but that was not of much importance right now. A name paled in comparison to wings.

Kosa smiled, "Of course you can. Be careful though, I just cleaned them." She continued to sway her tail in a hypnotic matter and gave a devilish.
"I take it you've never met a god before. Your as giddy as a new born cub." Kosa had never met anyone who was overly excited to meet a god. Most just kept their heads low and kept going in the direction that they were heading.

Once permission was given, Kia squealed with delight and began lightly prodding the other's wing, a large toothy grin present on her features. This was turning out to be quite the interesting day after all.
She continued behaving in this giddy manner until she spoke once more. At which point she stopped poking Kosa's wing and just stared at her in disbelief. "you're a WHAT?" her brows furrowed and her neck arched back in disbelief "no way... you can't be a... I thought you were a..." She continued to stutter on in this fashion until reality seemed to set in and a slow curling smile pulled across her face once it did
"I know exactly what you are" she said, her expression growing ever more smug as the moments passed "You're a bird. Trying to play tricks on me.... silly bird.... Don't worry, I won't eat you little bird. I never did like birds..." she patted Kosa lightly on the head, grinning. The logic was simple, the cub had wings.... she must be some odd sort of species of bird. It made perfect sense to Kia.

"Bird? You think I'm a bird?" Kosa was dumbfounded. How could any lion be so stupid. "You like to play with fire, don't you? Either you are completely ignorant to the world, or you are extremely idiotic."
She pulled her wings tightly into her sides and glared at the lioness. "I am a goddess. The goddess of Sin. You should not test me, it could be the last thing you do." Kosa was small, but she was definetly not one to let others get away with anything.

"So... you're not a bird?" Kia bit her lower lip, obviously deep in thought "and you say you're a goddess, but how do I know that you're not lying?" This cub, in Kia's mind, must have gone completely insane. She had never heard seen one and she thought they were just images that parents put into stories for fun. Now one was standing in front of her? It couldnt be.

Kosa stood and had a look of contempt on her face. She could not believe this was happening. Lions should be well educated when it comes to identifying a god so that they did not make foolish mistakes. In her anger her markings grew more red, her pupils became slits, and her claws dug into the ground. She spread out her wings once again and she spoke in a growly voice. "It would be sad for you if I should decide to make your life very miserable. If it was anyother god you were dealing with they would have taken your head off by now."

Kia hiccuped. This cub sure was scary for such a tiny little thing. Any trace of a smile was completely wiped from the juvenile's face now and her eyes were growing larger as Kosa's eyes shrunk into tiny lines dripping in anger. "you really are a demon...." she said in almost a whisper, tiny hiccups of fear separating each word.
"Please miss, don't take off my head...." her open jaws turned to a frown "I rather need it for eating and speaking and other specially important daily activities" her eyes scanned nervously over Kosa's markings and realized that they were changing color. Kia pondered notifying the cub that she was glowing, but thought better of it and bit her lip instead

Kosa calmed down slightly. "I'm not going to stain my paws with your blood, so you have no need to worry about that. And I am no demon."
She lay down in the grass and sighed. This lioness had obviously lived a fairly sheltered life so far, so she really couldn't be blamed for her foolishness. "What is your name? You should have atleast told me that before."

Kia looked relieved. Any day that she wasn't lunch or dead was a success story to her.
"My name? Oh yes... I nearly forgot" she stuttered out after a bit "I'm Kia... you're Mkosaji'Kosa" she said the latter rather painstakingly, careful to pronounce each syllable with precision. "A pleasure to meet you your Majesty!" she bowed curtly, figuring that goddesses should be treated with utmost respect. Even if they were a bit... puny.
