Anyway. Myself, I do not consider prominent. I randomly bug GD, but moreso often ED...
But my real home lays in the idiot wasteland that is the chatterbox, where the intelligent folks take advantage of the vast amount of ... well, idiots, for their own amusement.
=)
But as I've been in the CB, I have only had a couple people tell me they remember me. I don't think I've ever been considered popular or "prominent".
Anyone beg to differ, on that one?
So, do you think you're well known, or not? And if you see someone say they aren't...
and you think they are. SAY SO! It's ego boosting power will make us... uh... ...stronger. o.O;;;
I don't know.

Make some sort of discussion out of this. There's questions...and an obvious main idea. xD

I'd guess no, I'm pretty much completely unknown. I've ran into people around the site that I've known (Or other people have ran into me). I'm mainly in the chatterbox though, although someone tried to get me to go to GD, I haven't really looked there any further.
And I didn't get an invite, I requested. gonk

Er...I've been called famous around the CB a couple of times...
...And Frank, you invited me after talking to me in the CB for a while when I was really hyper. I don't really remember what we were talking about, though... =)

I dunno. I don't think I'm that well-known. I interact with those who leave a good impression on me, not with the Gaian masses in general. I'd have to go for the Gaian masses to become really well-known. As it is, I'm happy. 3nodding
I happen to know that Lady Pyre was the one responsible for my being in the UFG, and I hadn't talked to her for months beforehand. O_o Obviously I leave some sort of impression.

Either that, or I said so much rubbish that they went into a state of mindless drool and accidentally let me in. But I did write a lot on my request form, I had to stop myself from typing more. I am definitely non-prominent. I'd be amazed to be recognized by someone I don't already know.
Only reason I got an invite was because Kizu saw me posting intelligent answers one night in Q&F over the summer. At least, I always assumed that was why she sent me the invite.

I used to hang out in GD a lot for over a year, now I avoid that place thanks to it going to the PC dogs. Despite all of the racy threads there, I got a topic locked for using the word "Indian-giver." So, I pretty much visit wherever I feel like except that one forum.
I'm not prominent though, and never have been. My siggie may be semi-prominent, though, although no one remembers who I am methinks.

I'm not prominent on Gaia. I don't post in the main forums enough for me to be so.
I think this is a good thing, because most of the press I get is bad press.
Oh, and I'm another request. I saw the link in some ED thread and thought taking my business here would be a good idear. I was getting mad at ED and my posts were at the time weeks in between.

I know that I am well known in the Charity/Quest subform of the Exchange. I am normally seen in most of the common charities that people frequent. And I've had a few be kind enough to pop in at my quest and give me a bump. biggrin
Here is another matter. I know that I'm known, but I doubt I could be identified if they saw me in another part of Gaia. There are some that I would jump and freak when I see them [actually said that to a few I did see in a charity], but I don't know if they would be able to identify me. sweatdrop

I doubt it, but I could be wrong. Most of my PMs are people asking me to join contests, asking me to reduce my prices at my store, or people asking for gold. And most of my friends I have known before joining Gaia.
