Welcome Welcome to Heliopolis: City of the Sun, also known as the Pride of Re and Analae. Here, nestled next the the river run off and the savannah, peace and tranquility are abound. A noble king resides with his queen, reigning over each and every creature, down to the grass beneath their paws.

Rules:
1. NO GODMODDING: This should be a given. If you want to do something with a certain lion, contact the lions owner.
2. Do not fight with owners: It annoys me, and everyone else and just causes problems.
3. Do not beg for breedings, or have hard feelings if you dont get a cub from a breeding: Its annoying and pety.
4. Try to use correct spelling and grammar: RP's must be done in third person. Use quotes and sentences!
5. Re and Analae are law: Obey them.
6. Try to refrain from OOC chatting: This is a Roleplay! Take your conversations to PM!
7. Attempt to refrain from one liners: It makes the Rp difficult for everyone. But hey... people get writers block... its understandable. Just keep it to a minimum?

Role: To protect the Pride, lead, patrol lands.
Queen: Analae
Role: Lead Hunt if necessary, lead, support king, patrol, tend heirs, help other members.
Advisor: Open
Role: Elder who advises the king, witnesses treaties and alliances.
Shaman: Open
Role: Tribe/Prides Healer. This Lioness oversees birthing, and will tend wounded, sick, or dying lions in the hopes of reviving them.
Royals: Open
Role: Princes, Princesses who are Teens or Cubs, and don't have another Pride Ranking
Hunt Mistress: Open
Role: Leads the Hunt, plans and executes it.
Lead Warrior: Open
Role: King's Second, Leads Warriors against Hyenas and other enemies.
Hunt Sisters: Open
Role: Aid the Hunt Mistress, follow her directions, help her bring down the kill. Also help bring it back, and teach cubs to hunt.
Warriors: Open
Role: Males that aid the king and help guard the females from any unwanted guests.
Den Mother: Open
Role: Tending to cubs, and in charge of the Den Sisters.
Den Sisters: Open
Role: Help the den mother with the cubs and kittens. They are also in charge of keeping the main cave safe and clean.
Scouts: Open
Role: Patrol the territory warding off any unwanted guests and potentially dangerous enemies when the King cannot, or Scout along with the King.
Pride Sisters:Open
Role:Help out when needed. Cub Sitting, Hunting, Teaching Cubs, Cleaning, Scouting, etc. They need to be able to do anything.

Meet the Pride

Personality: Re is a romantic, always charming and wooing the females. Though he flirts, his heart remains to his queen, Analae, whom he favors above all other females. Bold and daring, never backing down from a challenge, Re is often thought to be very brave, or very stupid. Almost childlike at heart, Re can be very serious when necessary.
Short History: Re never had a pride, prefering to roam on his own as a cub. He met Analae once, while playing, and charmed her at once, though it was he who was captivated by the beautiful butterfly.
Analae Name: Analae [Lae] To be RPed By: Marinity Rank: Queen-- Though young she may be Personality: She is nice and calm, and very propper. She is also very brave, and prepared for anything. She is friendly, and nice to almoste every lion she meets. Short History: [History will be in Journal soon]
Tipu Aodh Name: Tipu Aodh

Rank: Cub; maybe a Scout when he's old enough. (Preferably not set in stone, though?)
Personality: Polite and refined, even at his young age, Tipu is very much the gentleman. (Er, gentlelion. Whatever.) However, this isn't to say he's necessarily nice. No matter how well-mannered he may be, there's always a detached, almost bored air about him; nor does he take the feelings of others into consideration most of the time, to the point of seeming downright cold. Tipu does have some interest in the spiritual side of life, though he doesn't actively pursue the subject.
Short History: History to be detailed in my journal soon; it can safely be said that Tipu's demeanor has a whole lot to do with his upbringing up until now.
Solstice Name: Solstice (Sol)

Rank: Cub; Warrior when he's older
Personality: Solstice is a younge cub who loves to be with others and help out. He always puts the wellfar of other before his own, and he is known for not backing down when challenged even if the challenger is a full grown lion! He knows his place around others, but his know-it-all additude gets him into troble as does his stubboness when it comes to backing down.
Short History: Solstice was marked as a cursed lion due to the two-legger symboles on his back leg that says "sun". Sadly, lions can't read and it was thought that the cursed cub would bring bad luck to the pride, so he was left alone as he slep to die. He wandered around aimlessly, just trying to survie untill he met a cub who called herself the Daughter of the Sun, Naolin, spoke to him highly of her pride...Of the great city of the sun...Heliopolis.

Though not actually located there yet (Feel free to take the spot if it appeals to you) Re wishes his lands to be located in the upper left, marked by the red/yellow with the "R".
Description
Savannah: The Savannah is mostly grassy, dotted with trees and wildlife. Giraffes and Zebra, Antelope and Gazelle. The tall grasses hide Meerkats and Hares, along with other small, gamey creatures.
Riverbanks:The River holds some dangerous creatures, the crocadiles and hippos can be very moody creatures. The water itself is clean. You can see the rocky bottom, where the fish laze about, the sun reflecting off of their silver scales.

The king padded into his lands, admiring the beauty as he walked. He shook his head, his ashen mane tossed in the light breeze that came from the west. The sun was high in the sky, as he took to the river bank, cooling his paws in the water. He hoped his love would like the land as much as he did.

A yawn rolled from behind Re, rather, ontop of him, as Analae raised her head from out of his mane. Obviously, she had slept the whole time on the way there. She gazed around, watching the scenery. She lay there, speachless for the moment. "Re, you have chosen a beautiful land..." she said, leaping off his back, onto the ground next to him, streaching with a yawn. She stepped to the waters edge, letting herself go in far enough just for her paws to soak lightly. She looked up at him, smiling softly.

He smiled softly. "I'm glad you like what you see. You, though young, are the queen of these lands. You now rule by my side, as one." Re's voice was deep, and his eyes were soft and kind as he looked at his little love. "I hope other lions will roam far to live here, and bask in the beauty that is you."

Analae raised her head, smiling at him, before it faded, as she dropped her head. "But will all others listen to my word as they do yours... Since I am still a Kit, while you are not?"
