Yeah. That's right. Silver with her singing voice, and she's actually nervous about a talent show.
I know I'll look sooooooooo good compared to the other singers, but I'm still a little nervous about my performance. What if I mess up a note like I did the first time? What if I shift keys twenty times. I'm singing simple and clean, so it would be that hard to do. What if I'm around something that irritates my throat and I can't sing?
What if I don't even make it into the show?
I bet these things are all in my head, but still...I'm nervous. I'm really nervous.
What things make you nervous? Do you think I'm just scaring myself?

Elevators. Ones that look ratty give me the "Omifukno" impression; that it's built shittily and WILL send me to my death at the bottom of the shaft.
And I've seen some really shitty elevators in my day. :l

Geometry makes me so nervous my hands sweat. But my hands sweat often. It's gross. :X Ummm, awards ceremonies make me nervous too for some reason I can't identify. And I mean the awards ceremonies I go to where all I have to do is shake some guy's hand and run away.
Silver, I've been in two talent shows and messed up last year :X My voice cracked midchorus 'cause I didn't have any water. Just drink lots of water, no sugar, take in a deep breath, and sing. Though I'm probably sure you've got more experience than me and I'm just telling you things you already know sweatdrop
Relax. 3nodding *patpat* I'm sure you'll do well.

Theme parks make me nervous, and talking infront of a large group of people. But I just think that there is nothing there and it'd be ok to say whatever I want.
And do not drink milk or any products with calcium before you go sing. ^_^ Although I'm pretty sure you know not to.

Solos in songs that I don't really know make me nervous. And really giant-a** curtains that close at a rate of one inch per hour. (Okay, so I'm exaggerating a bit. Just a bit, though.) Oh, and the fact that my jazz choir leaves for Redding at noon tomorrow and we STILL don't have a drummer makes me nervous enough to twitch.
No soda, no sugar, no milk, no brushing your teeth directly before you go onstage (dries out your mouth too much x.@), don't stay up too late practicing the night before, but practice enough that you know it. Big smile, confident attitude, knock 'em dead. EDIT: I thought of something else - words. Think about the words, the meaning of the words, what the lyrics are saying...etc. And watch your phrasing. =) I'm sure you'll do awesome, though.

When I debate at JSA conventions most of it comes form the heart. I mean I have the general speech outline but my mind is always tweaking it to perfection. Paz is correct, have a big smile on your face and a confident attitude and you'll kick a**.

Bugs. Seriously man. It makes me all sweaty and screamy. Large groups. And those really fat ladies in spandex who take up the whole aisle that you need to get through. D:

my secret is applejuice I was singing in a concert in Edmonton, and we all practised for like, 8 hours during the day when the concert was that nite. It was like a fulltime job. And after singing for collectively at least four hours (I skipped a bunch to sleep in the audience area because I was so tired I thought I would pass out, plus I had the songs nailed, so i only practised parts that applied to me in a superstrong way, not where I was just singing backup) your voice is almost dead. And your throat is killer. But my secret is applejuice. It's like lip balm for your throat. It's simply amazing.
Unless you don't like applejuice. Then, I dunno. But I like applejuice for before I'm singing, the real stuff, cos it's kinda syrupy and makes your dry throat allbetter, but it's not sticky enough to cramp your style.
And I get really nervous about talking to people like my doctor, my eyedoctor, and my boss, I dunno why. I've known them forever. I guess it's leftovers from when I was younger or something.
I used to have a crippling fear of meeting new people and making a bad impression. Seriously, crippling.
