I thought of something yesterday. LOGOS is destroyed by ZAFT, who's elites are called FAITH, those hand-selected by the council to obey all of their orders. In other words, Blind Faith. When blind faith wins out over logic, nothing makes sense Could it be that Destiny's director was trying to tell us something, and wasn't just being a complete twazzock?
Also, if you think of it... Blind Faith comes from Durandel, a corrupt politician with his own agenda. This means that the hidden message in Destiny is that you shouldn't take what the politicians tell you at face value, and look at the truths for yourself before you pick a side...

While part of me accepts this, I almost think that it turned out that way completely accidentally. Even so, there's some very interesting symbolism going on here, and we might be reading too much into it. The message might simply have been meant to be construed as "faith beats logic."

I like my tinfoil-hat-style conspiracy better. It makes the series less s**t.

well, if you are really going to break down the series, there's more than that to go with. True, faith is a team who swear loyal to the politicians "blindly", and the politician convince people by telling them that he has "faith" in them. which is ironic, because Aslan end up losing his "faith". oh well, who cares~ I have enough analysis to do in textbooks, so I'll not bother myself with that.

In an interview with the creator of SEED, I believe he said he purposely based a lot of the series off the first Gundam, and also tried to show the harshness of war, so it is possible such coincidence appear.

This has nothing to do with parodies in Original, Zeta and Victory (which it does have) This is about a conspiracy to say the show had a sublimminal message, explaining why it sucked so bad.
