I'm having an internet party. There's going to be a bouncy castle. Like this one. Made discussable for my own sanity (Not to get out of the locking rule): Are you the type of person who keeps her birthday in her signature for a week and a half and then makes a birthday thread ten minutes after midnight (EDT), and just cuts all that timid crap out right there? I most certainly am. My girlfriend goes to a school that counts DDR as a gym credit. How absurdly awesome is that?

Happy Sheboigan day.
And I'm the type of person who tells people about my birthday months before it in hopes that they will forget andx not make a fuss. I also remove it from my siggy at least a month in advance if I have it in there.

Happy birthday, have a good one. biggrin
I'll acknowledge my birthday, but it's generally not something that gets me excited.

*gives Calamity some gummy worms* Happy birthday. 3nodding
This year, I'm hoping to get away without telling anyone my birthday. I'll tell people when it's my Gaiaversary, and then guilt trip them into getting me gifts by telling them it was my birthday a month previous to that. mrgreen
Seriously though, I've gotten to the age where my birthday isn't a big deal. I mean, it hasn't been a big deal in a long time anyways. My sixteenth birthday? Went out for a round of mini golf with Mom, Dad, and the sibs. These days, at the most, I'll get some presents from my family and a cake, and my choice of dinner.
I don't go anywhere. I don't do anything. I am lame.

I -used- to be that way. Then for some reason around my eighteenth birthday I was sitting around and feeling sorry for myself and I realised that "IT'S MY BIRTHDAY" is really the best excuse to make a big production out of yourself, and expect other people to feel obligated to participate in your self-serving insanity. Sometimes I think I could rob a bank and shouting, "I'M TWENTY TODAY!" would make them think twice about arresting me. And plus, deep down inside I love the attention.

*shrug* I hate being reminded of how dull my life really is. If I made a big deal out of my birthday, I'd be more inclined to look at where I was last year, and realize that absolutely nothing has changed, and how last year, I was thinking I'd be somewhere else, doing something else, next year.
Meh. I need to be dragged out of my current lifestyle. Kicking and screaming. Obviously I'm not moving myself out of my rut. :/
