Ok. I found this cool fabric for making a winter coat but I don't know which one to choose. And what would be the best abric for making a dress? Here are the fabrics: Black wool sateen Black Tropical Wool Black Wool Poplin
And if any of you people Know any tips about choosing fabric for anything, post it here! It would be helpful for other people!

hmm, their website isn't all that helpful at giving sample pix. =
I would say it's better to go to a fabric store where you can touch the fabric and compare it to the lace/ribbons/other accesories you want to go with the project. I'm always hesitant to buy fabric online, unless I have a good picture, adequate info about the blend, stretchiness etc.
Maybe if they have a customer service line you could ask for more info or small sample squares? 3nodding

I really understand what you mean... The pictures really do suck but where I live there isn't any good fabric store. 1. They don't sell good wool. 2. They never even sell solid color cotton. 3. Their satin is horrible or they don't sell anything at all. The only place that I can get good cotton is Walmart. sweatdrop And no one sells any triming at all, exept for Walmart. eek
