It was a nice, cool afternoon. A nice cool breeze blew past Ghubari as he was digging a ditch in the ground, trying to make a temporary place to rest. They were even closer to the Pridelands than before. Ghubari was happy to have his leg healing nicely, barely having any problems with it. He was having deep thoughts about the rogue cub, and his parents. He realized he never moped about his parents as much. Does Halima keep me from thinking about my past, Ghubari thought. He felt pretty good about not thinking about his parents, or getting that gloomy feeling inside of him just from thinking about his parents. He was Happy. He continued to dig. Despite forgetting about his terrible memories, one piece of memory kept lingering on, and he couldn't seem to get over it. He still remembered the rogue cub, the rude, selfish, smug cub who tried to impress Halima. and the last words he heard from the rogue's mouth. When would he come back? He then came back to reality when he heard a thump in the ground, not too far from him..

"Aww...Drat." Halima thudded onto the ground from her pounce at a rabbit. She had been chasing it since this morning and she had almost caught it but had been noticed while in midair of her pounce. She looked torward Ghubari as he digged. "Um...hey Ghubari.. Mind if i help?" She hesitated to ask. She was becoming bored from her attempts at the rabbit...but she also felt like she had to help.

Ghubari turned his head to see Halima become unsuccessful on catching a rabbit. "Um. Sure" He replied, skooting to make more room for Halima to help expand the little hole he had dug up.

Halima started to dig her paws into the moist dirt. She felt like she owed him for his help from back when they were cubs. She had been pestered by that rogue cub, and she was grateful, even if it was just a small situation. "Um...Ghubari? Remeber that plan of ours? To travel to differant prides?"

"Yeah, what about it?" He said, cocking his head to the side, facing Halima as his paws were still digging? Was there gonna be some sort of change in travel plans?

"Well....I've been thinking about it, and I'd rather stay in side the pridelands. Its nice and quite peaceful here, and theres enough prey here too." Halima anticipated Ghubari's answer, wondering if he was going to stay too. She just hoped that he would.

"Stay?" He asked, shocked and confused about the sudden change, "But I thought we were gonna travel around the other prides," But how would he be able to travel without Halima? He felt uneasy just from traveling alone. "Why must we stay here?" He asked to Halima, concern in his eyes, What was Halima planning?

"Well, I've thought about how it would be nice to stay here, and to eventually, well, have a family." Halima was slightly embarrased to say this, seeing as that she was only a juvenile. But she had seen the pridelander families and had always envied them, their bonds with their relatives, and the love that they had for each other. She wanted to feel it too. "Uh..." Halima was confused as to what to say next.

Ghubari blushed a bright pink, surprised, when he heard Halima talk about having a family, "A F-fa-family?" He asked, feeling himself grow a little pinker. He never liked Halima enough to be willing to have a family with her..

"Umm....Gnubari, is something wrong? You're turning a little bit pink." Halima giggled as she spoke. She found it quite funny to see his light blue fur become a slight pink underneith.

Ghubari quickly shook his head, trying to shove the deep thoughts of becoming a family away. When he heard Halima giggling, it just made him blush even more! "Oh! Uh, yeah, I'm fine," He said..

Halima noticed that she wasn't digging into the dirt anymore, so she started to dig again. "So- What are your plans for when you get older...travel?" She was nervous again.

When Ghubari noticed Halima, he too realized he'd stopped digging, and continued on with his progress while he chatted to Halima, "Well, I was hoping to travel, but what point would there be to travel if I can't do it with my best friend?" He answered. True, the point would be that he was able to travel, but it felt worthless without doing it with someone else.

Halima slightly blushes. She got back to the subject of the den. " How much longer do we have to dig?"

"Hmmm.." was all he said to Halima, studying the hole that was to be their temporary home. "Eh, I think it looks deep enough" he said, "I'll go and find some leaves on the ground, it'll make the ditch feel more comfortable ," He walked away towards what looked like bushes from the distance. {{Agh!! *sprays anti-oneliner in the thread*}}
