I think I should mention that I half own a Charity with a friend of mine named Letolas Reloaded. Our charity is for anyone who has at least 500 posts and a lot of you have that. The charity is based on our selection every two weeks of an avatar that we like. We then give the gold so that person can buy their avatar outfit that they created. We give out up to 20k every 2 weeks. If anyone is interested please drop by. There are requirements but they are not hard. Also participation in the thread is a must to get a good score. The link is in my sig or click here:
Please drop by and see if you can win an outfit if you want to. smile

The outfits I'm going for at the moment are cosplays, don't know as they count.

Of course they count. You can check it out at least. Actually I would like another entry or 2 or 3. We only have 2 right now.

willowbark can we enter an outfit for someone else? Well, no, not really. But you can enter for yourself and then give the outfit away. Actually we don't give the outfit, we give the prize in pure gold. So you could give that to the person for the outfit. But don't tell me about it because our Charity is set up so that we are donating an outfit to a person, not so they can give it away. Or why don't you tell the person to come on by and enter for themselves?

The Skullmaster Uma, my avvy I want includes shoes I already have, it says no stuff you already have but I can I still enter? Don't tell me stuff like that. Now I am obliged to say pick out another pair of shoes. Surely it can't be that hard to find a pair you don't have and use them? I do hope you enter though, that would be fantastic! Don't forget to post in the thread and chat with us. 1/5th of the score is interaction. ^^

Well, this is a contest too. Is the person too proud to enter a contest? Seems like skewed ethics to me. I mean, if she takes the outfit from you, what is the difference? It's still charity. Anyhow, after thinking about it some, you should feel free to be creative and make an outfit no matter what you do with it. If our act of charity enables you to do your own act of charity, well I guess that is fair enough.

I'm going to look around it, though I don't think I'll enter the contest. I do not like accepting charity. Maybe I'm picky, but I prefer earning my way to things.
Though I might make something for fun. I"ll go check it out and see smile

Consider it as a prize for winning a contest!

It is more like a contest than a charity since you compete with others

Edo is right, it is more like a contest. Matter of fact, I have wondered if we should be in Avatar Talk and not in the Charity forum, but we do give away other stuff too so Charity seemed best.
