It wasn't all the time that Denge moved around by herself, but she was growing restless. Her baby hadn't been back in ages! Well, somewhere she knew that it was highly unlikely Fedha would ever be back. But she was back in the pridelands, stalking through with her ears perked and her eyes alert. She'd been through the pridelands a few times, but no sign of Fedha had been made noticable to her. Maybe he'd gone to different lands? She sighed lightly and sat herself at the boarders, red-brown gaze on the giant mass of pride rock.

It was a nice day, really, in these lands - a day that he could really get out and see the land that raised his father. Mother nature certainly made for quite some spectacular lands in her days, between the pridelands and his homelands, he could never see why anyone would ever want to leave either.
It was during these thoughts that he spotted somethign from the corner of his eye - black and gray, whitish even, and he knew that pridelanders were most certainly not usually born of such coloring. He would have just turned away, left her to her own, but she looked a little upset - and not to mention, a little familiar all at once.
"Miss, is something wrong?" came the gentle words, the coffee and black male taking a step closer. Sure, he looked a little rough with his knew scarring, but his attitude set that apart instantly.

Her ears perked and then flattened against her skull as she spotted Taabu. Males made her very uneasy. Though less than when the reason for it had first happened. Her eyes lingered on him a moment and she nodded her head slightly.
"Fine... are you part of these lands?" She asked slowly.

He didnt' dare move any closer to her - Taabu had a knack for realizing when people were uncomfortable around him or someone else, though it never really was that hard to tell. He just stood at the distance that made her feel safe, and he'd let her move closer if she wished so.
"Sort of, I'm staying here while I wait for my parents, but I am the grandson of the king regardless." He smiled as he spoke, nodding his head. "So I guess you could say I am, in a way."

Denge didn't really know too much about Mufasa and all of that, so she wasn't amazed or anything. "So you might have seen my son!" She breathed out, taking a few steps toward him. She shut her eyes a moment. "He's a pretty silver-gray color with a white mane and markings... blue eyes.. He doesn't look so much like me but.." She opened her eyes and watched Taabu helplessly. "Have you?"

He frowned as he heard her desperation - something that not even the dimmes tlion could easily miss. He sighed, slowly shaking his head as he was unable to fufill her wishes.
"No, I'm Miss. Besides my own family, I've only run into a mistweaver girl with a salmon face mask and a male that looked a little like her, I'm afraid I haven't seen your son." He sighed, glancing away from her.
He didn't like not being able to help people that needed it most.

No.. he hadn't! Her face fell and then became shocked. "Ny?" She breathed out, and then her gaze jerked around quickly, in fear. "Nyek too?" She whispered, as if she expected the male to be right there. "When?" She looked back to him.

He frowned at the words, quirking a brow - why did she sound all upset? Who was Nyek? "Ah, no miss, she called this male Lim. That's not his full name I don't think, but that's what she called him as far as I remember." He nodded, tilting his head at her, wait - how did she know Ny anyway?
"I saw her a few days ago, are you kin to her?" Yeah, he figured she was some sort of kin - but he wasn't just going to assume things.

She breathed out slowly, relaxing it seemed. Wait! Why was her daughter with strange males? Her eyes narrowed slightly and she looked back toward her homelands. "Yes! I am her mother!" She said, quite matter of factly.

Taabu blinked slowly, sighing as he heard her words. She seemed quite upset all of a sudden - and he most certainly did not want to go around upsetting Ny's mother, of all lions. "Don't worry, Miss, I saw her back at her home last, she's fine as far as I saw." He tried a smile, tail flickering.
"My name is Taabu, by the way, and I'm a friend of your daughter's. I can see the resemblence between you two, but you do seem a bit young to be a mother of someone Nyunya's age. Then again, you are about my own mother's age after all." Great, he was rambling. He sighed, tail flickering again, "If it would help, I could keep a lookout for your son for you?"

Oh! Well at least he was a gentleman. She hadn't realized she was just only somewhat older than him. He'd managed to put her at ease, as in... no he wasn't going to do what nyek did to her.
He'd been so... not nervous before. Why was he suddenly rambling? Denge sat herself slowly down. "I was young when she was being grown inside of me." She s aid softly, to explain it.
She blinked and her ears perked. "Yes, that would be good."

He smiled as he sat down, not too close, so that she'd stay comfortable with him here. "By the way, how is Nyunya? I mean, I saw her a couple of days ago but she didn't seem to be in a very good mood, like something was bothering her, and-" he stopped, immediately. He suddenly knew what was making him ramble like an idiot, like a stupid little git.
It was Nyunya. He only did it when he was talking about her, and of course he hadn't known this before now because her mother was the only one he had ever talked about her with.
He cleared his throat, straightening himself up and nodding with a more adult looking smile, trying to steer off the subject of Ny all of a sudden; "I'd be glad to keep a look out then. I can't promise anything, these lands are large, but I can tell my grandfather to do the same so when I'm gone, maybe someone could at least spread the word."

Why had he cut off so suddenly? Denge watched Taabu for a minute. He was at that age. Actually, if she thought about it long enough she could figure out that so was Ny. "She's been doing a lot of thinking, is all.." She said slowly.
"Anyways I have to get back to my family, thank you for your help. I'll tell Ny you've been worried about her." Oh denge just thought she was being nice. She rose and began to head away.

He frowned as he heard her words - standing slowly and about to go after her, but then again: he didn't want to scare the poor thing. After all, she seemed so darn timid.
"Well, alright, nice meeting you" he muttered, turning to walk away.

Perhaps they'd meet again in the future, but Denge really wanted to check on her other children. They were growing so fast! And ithi, she wanted to check on her beloved as well.
