I ordered my first lolita dress about a week ago! I'm so happy! I ordered it from FanPlusFriend, who have been wonderful thus far. ^__^ this is my dress:

It seems to be based off of a Victorian Maiden design.

anyway, it's due to be delivered the 11th. biggrin

now, since I'm a GDer and used to discussion tags...

Do you remember your first lolita item?
if you don't have anything 'offically' lolita yet, what do you wanna buy first?
heard good things about F+F? bad things? D:
like my dress? mrgreen

I'll update with photos of me in it when I get it...I just hope the shoulders fit because I forgot to give them that measurement. D: custom measurments are no extra charge at F+F, so I was like OH HELLS YEAH. <3

I've haven't heard much about F+F. Maybe sometime I should go look at their website though...

It does kind of look like Victorian Maiden. I saw a dress that looked almost exactly like it from Victorian Maiden except it has a floral print design fabric. Very pretty dress you bought.

I don't have anything officially Lolita just yet, but the first item I would want would be anything from Baby, The Stars Shine Bright, whether it be a dress, sock, or something inexpensive. I don't care as long as it is Baby because I'll end up liking it no matter what it is.

As for FanPlusFriend, I haven't really heard anything about them aside from the Lolita design contest and that they sell cosplay as well.

ooooh! its so pretty!!! whee im hoping my first loli item will be the pink official baby dress from baby the stars shine bright...but thats not gonna happen my friend is getting to anxious and wants to start sewing our outfits NOW lol blaugh

That's a lovely dress ^^.

I don't own anything you could call proper lolita, I have a black lolita top with netty puffy sleeves, ribbon at the bottom of the neckline and a piccie of an anime style lolita on it.

I would love a dress from Baby the Stars Shine Bright though which luckily sends to the UK ^^.

Yes, I recognise it. It's pretty; I wanted it, but then I read they didn't ship to the UK, or something, which really bugged me. I thought, 'I'll never get that dress!' but now maybe I can.

You dress choice is really cute! It's fairly simple, but it adds to the dresses ... innocent look. Adorible.

Aw. That is so adorable. And if you apply it right, it can be either Ama, Guso or Classic. Very pretty. I want something similar but maybe with a gathered waist so my fat rolls don't rip the fabric or something horrible like that. ( Well not really. >>'')

^^ I want to get something from In the Starlight. Its in my cheap pricerange and the stuff is so cute! ^^ Maybe just a blousethough. I'm sewing a skirt, but my sewing machine totally broke so I need to get my grandma;s before I finish.

Maybe I'll check ebay also. ^^

That's so cute! I think both the purple and the pink are adorable. Although, I think your skin tone should be a factor in which color you want to get - it can make a major difference in how an outfit looks.

I remember my first lolita dress.
It's a pink dress, with puffsleeves and a really big ribbon on the back.
Well, the ribbon accidentaly got torn of last time I wore it, But I'm going to fix it.
