 Lillian is a strong willed lass from The Emerald Isle. In her home town famine struck during the war when she was 15, wiping out most of the population. Of her family, only Lillian and her younger sister, who was ill, escaped to the open seas. They had all the money that their family could muster, but the money soon ran out and they found jobs that women could participate in were scarce.
Then one day, after ship hopping for over 3 years, tragedy struck. The younger sister, Elora Baines Flint, died in Lillian's arms as they were hiding as stowaways on a ship that was traveling to where they had not known. The journey had been too much for her little sister, and pneumonia set in while hiding in the dark depths of the fresh water hold. Lillian was soon discovered, still hiding with her dead sister's body, and made prisoner till the ship reached shore. She had learned that they were bound now for the Isle Olivdada, and the crew aboard the ship threatened and teased Lillian that when she would step foot on shore she would be branded a law breaker and be sentenced to death.
Lillian had no clue whether or not it was true that the laws of the isle, that she was forced to shore upon, were strict or not, so she could do nothing else but accept what they said. She feared for her life, and when she was being led to what she thought to be the ports gallows, she made a quick decision to escape, leaving her dead sister's body in the hands of the Island Caretaker. She had dodged into a busy market place when the man, that was supposed to be watching her, stepped into an ally way to 'relieve' himself.
After escaping, from what she thought to be Island officials, Lillian decided to take shelter in a nearby tavern and wait for everything to quiet down. The people there kept her a secret, giving her an alias, a disguise, and a job. They had been slightly curious as to what she was so worried about though. She will never forget their kindness. She worked hard as a bar maid, and while under the guiding hand of the co-owner of the tavern she learned many things about cooking and basic medicinal tactics.

Lillian has a personal scrap book that she keeps hidden from the rest of the crew. Its where she stores all her important memories.Death Certificate of Elora Baines FlintLillian recieved this before leaving the Isla Olvidada! For the first few nights on board all she could do was cry. She keeps this tucked away in her scrap book to help her remember what shes been through.
