All right, well...Last night I was talking with my friend, more like persuading him, actually. His girlfriend broke up with him last night and he's in love with her. He was threatening to kill himself. He said he didn't deserve to live anymore and that nobody would miss him. He said he was going to tear apart his veins with a knife and drown in a pool of his own blood. I got him calmed down after a little while, though. But then he starts to look back at all the things he did with her. Granted, they were only going out for a couple weeks, but those two were alone a lot.

Then, BAM, he tells me that he lost his innocence to this girl. Now, just to clarify things, this kid is 13-years-old, so this came as a shock to me, but not as much as you would expect. He was saying that he regretted ever doing that. I told him he shouldn't be ashamed. He's in love with her. There's no shame in that. Or is there?

Which brought me to thinking about something else, that I did. You see, I go to wild parties and such with drinking and smoking. And I must say, I'm a very flirty drunk. Keep in mind that I'm also 13-years-old. I've almost lost my virginity a few times, but the guy I was with never had a condom. I firmly believe that if he would've had a condom, I would've had sex with him.

Since I go to all these wild parties, word of my actions get around school, so people think I've actually had sex before. They call me a slut and a whore, but when I explain to them I'm, in truth, a virgin, they stop(Thank God.).

Now this leads me to anothing thing to discuss. Why is it that if a girl has sex at this age, she's automatically a slut and if a boy has sex at this age, he gets congratulated by his peers? I find this very degrading. It's the same as how a guy is shamed upon if he is gay, but nobody cares if a girl is lesbian. It makes me wonder what else society has come to believe today.

So, the reason for this wall of text I call my rant, is that I'd like to know your views on this situation, virginity in general, sex, or anything related. I would post this in General Discussion but I have the feeling they're all just going to call me a slut and make "witty" remarks on the subject.

And I trust you guys to come up with serious responses to this, unlike the GD.

I've also posted this in other guilds, so obviously I'm very open for opinions.

I am not a virgin I will admit that among you the members for the reason I feel I can trust that you will not ridicule me. But I regret who I lost it to.

When you live in a small area like I do, and everyone thinks you're a freak because you hate pop and rap, there's not much you can do about it. <_<; I hate this area. 2 more years and I'm away.
