I like most types of music, though there are a few generes which I'm not all too fond of...
My tastes mainly fall under the categories of classical, classic rock, j-rock, baroque, j-pop, meditation, gothic, baroque, synthpop, darkwave, and techno. I'm rather ecclectic.
As for favorite bands, I love Nightwish, UntoAshes, Led Zepplin, L'Arc~en~Ciel, Wolfshiem, Qntal, and The Cruxshadows.
However I'll listen to pretty much anything, so long as the lyrics aren't bad... (I really hate lyrics which subjectify people or glorify violence and materiealism... sweatdrop )

I'm a huge fan of J-Rock. And I listen to all kinds of it. ^-^ But I also enjoys K-Rock.

I listen to mostly J-Rock.
Dir en Grey,Malice Mizer,Hyde,Plastic Tree [Tremolo,the best ^^],An Cafe,Gackt,Nittle Grasper,Bad Luck,D'espairsRay,L'arc~en~Ciel,and so on.
I also like AFI,Raspituna,Kill Hannah,Evanescence,Hawthorn Heights,My Chemical Romance,Augustana,The Fray,and Wicked.

ÁoYfMgYK I like Visual Kei/J-rock and American alternative and rock music.
Lets see I like Rentrer en Soi, D, Gackt, Dir en Grey, Alice 9, Despairs Ray, Kaya, Moi dix Moi, and a bunch more I can't think of.
For american music Tool, AFI, Death Cab for Cutie, Audio Slave, Pearl Jam, Nirvana, Soundgarden, Beck, Gorillaz (Not american I know), Weezer, Mindless Self Indulgence and Alice in Chains. Again there are a lot I don't remember.
And then I listen to anime soundtracks, and other miscellaneous things.

Basically I like anythings that has a good beat.
I like some types of classical music because i have to listen to it every day.....in my orchestra class so its hard not to like it.And i like some good rock
Bands like Evennessence, Within Temptation, Rascal Flats, The Fray, Panic at the Disco, Saliva, Papa Roach, Stainded, Vanessa Carlton (only for her song 'Twilight'), flyleaf, and Three Days Grace....they are awsome.
And I like to listen to J-pop so n'so not so much BuT its very nice to listen to every now and again..... ninja

I like listening to any genre, as long as it sounds appealing. I mostly listen to Pop, Rap, Hip-hop and R&B, J-Pop, Rock, Alt. Rock, J-Rock/Visual Kei, soundtrack music, classical music, jazz, blues, and the list goes on. ;3
