Hello, my name is Nick.. I'm 15 and I live in Orange County CA...

I'm half Scottish, but seeing as thats the majority of my ancestry I consider myself Scottish more than anything.

I love the culture, the people, all that fun stuff.

I went to "Scottish pride festival" at the queen Mary.. it was a bunch of drunk people eating fish and chips and playing bag pipes... some 90 year old lady tried to beat me up!

CRAZY!

MOVED: I want to visit Scotland someday
idk about living there..

With an introduction written, I feel it's appropriate to write mine. 3nodding

I first became a Scottish-fanatic four years ago when I met my now Fiance through an accadent that involved the movie Braveheart and Yahoo messenger. Four years and three visits to Scotland later, we're happily engaged and I am moving to Scotland to live with him. Our dream is to save up to purchase our first home in the Highlands. My Fiance is a very proud Scotsman (born and raised in Scotland, NOT American!), as true as they come, and as his lass I am proud of him and his heritage. Im afraid im not Scottish myself, and I don't need to know if I am, it comes from my heart and that's what's important.

As a future citizen of Scotland, I take my love of the country very seriously, so don't take offence alright? wink My hope is I can offer to the guild a slight serious side to appreciating and loving this great country. I can also offer an "insider" view should we be limited to actual natives, sense ive spent a good amount of time in Scotland with my adopted Scottish family (my Fiance's relatives)

My work as a future citizen involves constantly learning the history, the culture, traditions, holidays, traditional foods, native plants flowers and animals, and I am studying Scottish Gaelic. My favorite Scottish hero is Rob Roy...you'll have to ask me why sometime, as most folks chose William Wallace or Robbie Burns.

I look foward to being your mod, and offering a rich resource to the guild to take it a step above any other!

Um hi. This is my introduction. Pretty interesting so far, I know. Well, unlike some of you kids I DON'T speak Gaelic and I have no idea what Evynstar just screamed at me in the last bit. (Mar sin leibh, an-drasta!!) She's probably cursing at me or something so I better make this quick.

I moved from Glasgow to America, but I don't have my accent anymore. crying I mean, don't get me wrong I can still speak in my old accent but it's more comfortable for me to speak in this sort of half American, half Scottish thing. Don't ask. Anyway, I love Scotland, I miss Scotland and oh, yeah, I like Ewan McGregor. Kilts rule and uh... yeah... I'm done.

Hi there!
I'm Badgerkin, I'm 21 and live in England.
My Mum is Scottish (from the Dalziel clan)
My Dad's Grandmother was Scottish (from the Cunningham clan)
So that makes me 5/8 Scottish I reckon. biggrin
My cousins live in Scotland and I'm jealous! >.<
I have visted my relatives up there quite a few times, most recently in July last year.
Bagpipe music is wonderful! biggrin

I hope to live In Scotland one day - It would feel like going home to me. ^_^

Tha mi duilich - chan eil moran Gàidhlig agam. sweatdrop

(I am making this so i can stop getting the stare face at the top)

My Name is Samantha, i was named after Bewitched.
I am 19, soon to be 20 on 2/20. I am Scottish, Irish, Welsh, and German. I am wanting to be connected to what i know of my roots and quest for more. My Clan is Gault, a scept of the Clan MacDonald. We are known for our temper more than anything(Gault). I live in the Rockies of Colorado but am soon going home to KC, Missouri.
I am a Wiccan-Druid and embrace that side of myself. The Isle of Skye, where my Clan resides, is as i was told, is the Last Bastion of Druids. I am not entirely sure what that means but will one day know.

Clan MacDonald is the main branch, and is known and i hear famous for being such a large clan. Listed belowe are the Septs of my Clan, if any of you are listen in that, it means we are Kin. smile (Also note, that spellings are different AND not all may be listed.)
