Hey, my dad is going to be deploying soon, and I was wondering what I should be ready for. He was deployed to New Orleans for Operation Katrina, but that was still in the states and I got to talk to him every day. If any of you have anything you can tell me, I would much appreciate it.

but seriously, tell him that we all appreciate what he's doing.
and make sure you hug him big before he leaves. like, one of those big bug-out-the-eyes squeezes.
