Dreamcatcher: A Native American craftwork consisting of a small hoop covered with string, yarn, or horsehair mesh and decorated with feathers and beads and believed to give its owner good dreams

User Image

At first the title of the thread may seem odd, but really it makes sense. A dream that causes someone to wonder can cause them stress thinking about whether its a bad omen or just what it means in general. So, although it might not be a bad dream it could have bad consequences(restlessness, anxieties, ect.). As 'the dreamcatcher' I'm going to help you to hopefully find some meaning in it.

To help you I'm going to need the following information:

Date of the dream:
Description of dream:
What you think the dream means/was brought out from:

You don't have to answer all of those, but it may help to resolve what the dream means. So, if you don't want to put one of the above just put N/A or something to the same effect. ^^

Hope we can post now. I'll delete this if not.

Date of the dream: Sometime last year...?
Description of dream:
-Scene 1, Part 1-
Three guys and a girl are standing on what seem like rollercoaster tracks, way up high, though I believe they were actually supposed to be train tracks. They almost seem like some sort of gang group thing. The girl has white hair cut short, presumably dyed, and I believe she had orange eyes. I don't know what the guys looked like. Two lights like train headlights appeared in the dark (it was night) like the train was coming around the corner and was planning to stop at the 'station' they were at. Suddenly all three guys started jumping down the levels of tracks (which were arranged like a roller coaster, as mentioned before, and had cork screws and falls and other roller coaster designs). The girl didn't seem to know what was happening as she didn't move an called out, "Guys?" When she got no answer, she called again, louder. The train was still coming closer.

-Scene 1, Part two-
It was the same area, but in the morning and on the ground. The police were everywhere, taking notes and poking around. One of the guys seemed to have tripped on the way down and fallen to his death. I saw him, but he wasn't bloody. He just looked asleep. I didn't see the girl, but learned she had gotten hit by the train and died as well.

-Scene 2-
It was night again, at what seemed to be something ike a park. Three picnic tables were arranged on a large concrete slab. If you split it into six sections, one would be in the bottom righ, one in bottom left, and one in top center, to give a feeling ont he set up. They were filled with people, all with a fairly good dinner; salad, bread, main meal, the whole works. I was in the top center table, and there was a girl beside me, with long brown hair and orange eyes. I think she might have been something like the younger version of the girl metioned in the first part. She explained she was dead, and if no blood were to enter the circle (when she mentioned it, I noticed there was a feeling of something like an invisible ring around each table) she could pass on in peace. I had a feeling it was the same situation at each table, but with different 'ghosts'. We had started to eat when I noticed a guy standing in the middle of the three tables (bottom center, following the earlier description). He looked pretty ragged and beat up, I noticed he at least had a nose bleed and I tihnk he had a cut on his face too. The rest of him was bundled in thick clothing. He started to come towards our table. I jumped up and barely stopped him from getting in the ring. I felt so bad for him then, though, all beat up and hungry, so I went back and gave him my garlic bread (best part of any meal, except perhaps dessert, in my opinion, so it was a big deal for me). When the others at the table saw what I did, I guess it set in for them, too. They all got up and started giving him their food, too, until his arms were full of stuff. I woke up then, before the night was over.

What you think the dream means/was brought out from: One time slightly before this incident when I was walking down the hall at school, I looked over my shoulder and in the crowd behind me, there was a girl that looked a little younger than me that was the dead girl in the picnic area part of the dream. That was out of wack in itself, considering I was in the lowest grade and hadn't seen her before. Then, of course, there was the deal with the orange eyes. She was staring at me, and looked almost sad. I kept glancing over my shoulder to look at her (still staring) until I turned the corner. I later passed it by as a hallucination, though I was not hungry, tired, or otherwise out of the normal at the time that I know of.

Hm, well that is quite a peculiar dream you had. First off to address the girl you'd seen at school in connection to the dream aspect:

Theory 1:
The girl very well could have been a hallucination, ghost, whatever; however, most of the time if someone is thinking about something hard enough and long enough they'll see it. For example, if someone had told you a ghost story that just stuck in your mind your subconscious could create an image of a girl because you were thinking about it. Whether or not you were thinking about it voluntarily or not.

Theory 2:
The girl could have just simply existed. She could have been there looking for a sibling or could have been lost. Its very possible.

~~~~~~~~~
No matter which one it would've been I think that your thoughts were just derived from that girl. Meaning that you were so caught-up in how the girl looked, her sad features and such that your imagination concocted a story for her. Whether or not she existed. This is tough because in the same aspect one could say that the girl was trying to contact you, but really, from what I took on the dream I feel that it was just your subconscious playing games with your thoughts. Mainly due to the fact that there were too many random things, and for a 'ghost-like' being to generate that much would be tough on them. Especially in one night. Because from my understanding of poltergeists, they use their pre-existing energies that were kept because of the Earth's energy and yatta yatta. I could explain more, but I think that'd be off-topic.
So, pretty much I'd have to say that this dream didn't really have any meaning to it, as many dreams don't. Y'know? It was just something that was created due to things that you'd thought about subconsciously. I know that probably doesn't help in this case, but that's what I got from it.
This is really long so I'm not going to post it all at once.
Date of dream: I don't remember. I know it was more than two months ago
Dream's description:
I got the feeling that this particular dream was a "sequel" to another dream, though I don't remember having a dream with the same scenario before. Anyways, I had knowledge/information that I didn't recall/learn/dream after I woke up.
The dream started at a fair around nine at night. My friend Emily and I were browsing the booths in spaghetti straps and sandals’ indicating it was summer.
Even though I didn't dream this part, I knew that both our families had won a free trip to a certain hotel that I had been at the previous summer. The previous summer, our class spent a few days at this hotel, and this undead race kidnapped my friend Ron. Everyone's memory of him, except mine, was erased while he was gone. I learned some things while I was trying to get Ron back. It was these undeads' custom to take a human sacrifice each year and turn the human into one of the undeads since they couldn't reproduce. In the end, I got Ron back and signed a treaty with the King of the realm but there were a lot of reluctant undeads including the princess.
There was something sinister about this hotel that made me want to get as far away from it as possible, but I went despite these foreboding feelings because everyone was so exited about it and because I felt safer after signing the treaty. When Emily and I were looking at fans, I felt a tap on my shoulder. I turned around to stare into the Princess's cool, violet eyes. Her smile and my determination put my mind at ease.
"Aren't you going to introduce us?" she asked.
I told Emily that she was someone I met during one of my trips and the Princess seemed to approve of the lie since she smiled sweetly in reply. I suggested we head back to the hotel. We went through a side entrance since I didn't feel like walking to the front lobby. We took a couple of step down the narrow corridor and suddenly, Princess seemed to be having an asthma attack. I looked behind us and saw that we just walked out of the moonlight. Again, I don't know where I got this foreknowledge, but I knew that the undead's life force come from absorbing moonlight. Emily looked concerned and surprised beside me as I picked up the princess. I myself look very thin and not able to life any weights, but the princess felt light as a feather in my arms. As I set her down by the door where the moonlight reached her, my shadow loomed over hers. Where my shadow covered the Princess's body, in place of the Princess's smooth, ivory flesh was rotting flesh, and some parts you can even see the bone. I almost forgot, whenever they are under a moon-shadow, their true appearance reveals itself. Emily didn't see any of this so she was fine, but my calm threatened to break.
"I'm going to grab our parents," I said wanting to get away from the Princess
Emily said, “I’ll stay with her.” I barely registered what Emily said as a turned and headed into the building. I wanted to run but walked because I didn’t want anyone to know that I was scared. My step quickened as I walked and soon I broke into a run. I raced past several employees wearing red vests and white dress shirts in the lobby into this dark, circular hallway with stars on the walls, the floor, and the ceiling. I searched for the door to the center of the hotel, found it, and pulled it open. On the other side of the door was the center of the hotel. I was on the second floor and there were an abundance of people of the escalators. I relaxed a bit as people enveloped me. I spotted my parents going on the down escalator. I ran through the crowd of people trying to catch up to them so I could tell them what happened. I tried to push my way through the people on the escalators with little success. Then I froze as panic seized me. I had left Emily with the Princess! Who knows what she’ll do. I looked up to plan my next course of action. As my eyes wandered around my surroundings, I spotted Emily’s parents on the escalator beside mine, going up.
“Have you seen Emily?” I asked urgently without as much as a greeting.
“Emily? Who’s Emily?” they asked, obviously confused.
Hmmm...ok. Well, overall I don't think its so much the plot of the story as it is the hidden phobias that lie within the dream. From what I gather you value your friends a lot and worry to lose them, like you're afraid that if you don't acknowledge them, they'll disappear or such. (Maybe not so drastic.) Another phobia may not be a phobia as much as it is a general reaction. In the dream you were so scared for yourself that you left your friend behind, none-the-less you ran to your parents. A natural reflex for one to do when scared. In general I guess what I'm saying is perhaps you had something in your life that made you want to run to your parents, but couldn't and perhaps felt that some sort of connection betwixt you and your chums would go awry. Like I said though, I don't feel that the dream itself meant anything as much as the fears that were hidden among the dream were meant to be understood. I hope that helped a bit. ^^
Thank god. gonk No just kidding. ^^ Lol. As for the dream though. I'd have to say that perhaps the farmhouse is an image for yourself. Perhaps the image as a farmhouse in itself is reflecting thoughts of yours that you feel plain or old-fashioned? That's my take on the house and as for the chickens. They may represent your dreams, like aspirations. And the one chicken that stood out but ran from you may be a dream that you feel you can't reach or wont be able to and that you're afraid to go after it because you think that it'll lead you into 'a ditch'. Lol. Oh gawd, I just spent five minutes writing an analysis on chickens. xd
