FAQ:

The NPC Professors don't usually move around. They're the ones who'll call you when they've discovered something or they want you to test something for them. You get your starter pokemon from the NPC professors if you're planning on using an original starter or if you have a special request starter. A special request starter won't be very strong but it'll be different from the starters in the games. Like Ash's Pikachu and Gary's Eevee weren't traditional starters. PC professors can travel around freely. The Pokemart and Pokecenter NPCs will react differently to the PC professors, often giving them discounts. A PC Professor can also have more knowledge of pokemon than normal trainers. For instance, if they're looking for a pokemon, they can find them easier than normal trainers. Meaning that a regular trainer must fight at least two random wild pokemon before they get the pokemon they want to fight, but the professor only has to fight one random pokemon (at least at the start, the amount increases as the RP continues).


Only if you've been in an inhabited area for sometime and you haven't run into anything. Fighting wild pokemon's part of the RP. ^^;;

Bio: He always wanted to fit in. One of his only friends was his big bro. The other boys used to make fun of him because he’s a “Magikarp”, a “Feebas”; those weak, pathetic water pokemon. He decided to try and change their ideas of him by being great at something. He tried Little League Baseball, Soccer and Football, but he wasn’t any good. Finally, he decided to be a Pokemon trainer and since he lived in Littleroot, he could go ask the Professor for a pokemon. Bio: Little is known about this crafty gang leader. She is a samurai, whose gang is composed only of female members who are swordmen or martial artists. Her gang is known as "Team Vanity", because they are all women who are very pretty and powerful. Tsukasa herself wields a katana and uses both the blade and sheath in battle, much like her pokemon scyther's two blades. The goals of her gang are unclear, but likely selfish in nature.

Bio: Born in Cerulean City, she was expected to raise water type pokemon. This all changed when she found a stranded growlithe during a rainstorm in her town when she was 6. Although everyone in her town said she was stupid for doing so, she chose to raise the growlithe. Vowing to beat her hometown's gym leader with her one pokemon, she set off in her quest. Only after a short time, she evolved the growlithe into an arcanine with a fire stone nobody in her town had use for. Although fairly powerful, her arcanine is limited due to his puppy-like nature. He follows her around, and is considerably smaller than most arcanine, 4' 7'' to the normal arcanine's 6'3''. Firecely protective of Sena, they travel together to learn more about all pokemon and to someday beat the Cerulean gym leader.

Bio: He left Violet City when he was young, a little after he got his Nidoran. He left his childhood hero in that town…the town Bachelor, Smith Martin Ex, the people just called him S.M. Ex. From the young age of 10, Tristan decided it was the best thing in the world to be a bachelor, even though his mother disapproved, she wants grandchildren. At first, Tristan would go around and talk to all the cute picnicker girls and tell them that he was just one lonely soul, trying to find the perfect Nidoran female for his Nidoran male. That was until he found out that his little Cupid didn’t like female pokemon…so Tristan decided to like both as well, not just for his Nidoran, but also because the male campers would usually buy him more stuff. But, in order to get the girls, he needed a new pokemon that wouldn’t run away from their femaleness to go chasing after some passing Mr. Mime. He finally found one and, using his awesome manliness/male-whoreness, acquired a Spheal. He never trains Spheal, but he uses the whole, “I’m a lost cute pokemon” routine to lure in potential “playmates”. He really wants a Tauros.

Bio: Karen grew up with Lyn on Cinnabar Island and was a regular at the yummy Cinnabar Cinnabun shop. Growing up she was always a bit of a tomboy, but once Karen hit 16 she became interested in more girly, feminine things. Now she is obsessed with anything beautiful, cute, and frilly. She was introduced to her first Pokemon, her Ponyta, at the age of 11 when her father presented the Pokemon to her as a birthday gift. Karen did not become interested in training Pokemon right away, but instead just bonded with her Ponyta and fought the occasional battle when any of her friends challenged her. Karen refuses to ever put Cosette, her Ponyta, in her Pokeball. When Lyn left Cinnabar, Karen vowed to become a trainer herself someday just like her pal Lyn. She has just recently departed from Cinnabar and has begun her journey to become a great Pokemon trainer.

Short Description/picture: About 5'7" with dirty blonde hair and blue eyes. She's medium build and can't match an outfit to save her life. She mostly wears her school uniform with its indestructible plaid skirt and snazzy polo shirt. She always has a pair of comfortable shorts under her skirt. Running shoes are a must though she hates to run.
Bio: Her parents, as the owners of the famous Cinnabar Cinnabuns food chain, decided to move on up and expand their empire into the land of Hoenn. Lyn was very young but she still remembers the first time she found Growlithe searching through her trash. She feed the little thing, then, in Safari fashion, she throw a poke ball at it and hoped for the best. It took awhile for Growlithe to trust her after that, but the problems were eventually worked out and Lyn was able to take Tiger on walks without him running away. As a going away present, her older sister gave her a pokemon egg. Her elder sister decided to stay in Kanto and finish the Gym challenge there before moving on to Hoenn. She still hasn't caught up to the rest of the family but she sends word to them every now and then. The egg has yet to hatch but it sure moves around a lot.

Bio: She was a normal child, 50 years ago. She went through the gym leaders and Elite Four. Her Haunter travels with her of his own free will, he was never captured. She was killed in a horrible accident shortly after she and Haunter beat the Elite Four in Kanto/Johto. They were on their way to Hoenn in a boat and it sank. Haunter kept her from moving into the next world, so they travel around and have been doing to for 50 years. Bored, they decided to pretend to be beginners and go through the Hoenn gym and the Elite Four. They go around catching new friends while hiding their identity and strength. Most of Haunter's power is kept tied up in keeping Aeris in this world until she can regain her life, so he can only show his true power in extreme emergencies.

Short Description/picture: Jade has short black hair that kind of flares out at the bottom. It's not really short, but it's not shoulder length either. But even though it's short, she still has a long braid that goes a little past her waist. Jade's skin is pale, lean body, and green eyes. She wears a dark colored corset-style shirt (not really a corset though) that shows off her shoulders, but wears a tank top underneath, alogn with pants and shoes. Jade always has a bookbag to carry her items in.
Bio: Jade grew up in Saffron city, where most of the people had Psychic powers. Jade's family was one of the most well known Psychics but the problem was...Jade couldn't really use her powers the way her parents wanted her to. They wanted her to be able to pick things up, to bend things, to control people's minds.... Jade couldn't do these things, at least not yet. But she could read pokemon's minds. Well, not really. Only her Eevee's mind. Her parents were growing frustarted at Jade, since she wasn't developing her powers right and that she choose a normal type pokemon over a Psychic one. Jade couldn't help that, she grew attached to Eevee after rescuing it from a river. To relieve her parents of the stress, Jade decided to go travel, to see if she could advance in her abilities elsewhere.

Cause due to the lack of being able to swim, Zev was rescued by Jade, who would become his trainer and friend.

Bio: Along time ago, a little girl, name Goldi Lox, was caught in a Ursaring home. The wandering pirate, Captian Blaacke Beard, came to her rescue. The two were in love ever since. They had one child, a young boy named Goldi Beard. He was one handsome teenager, but he rushed to protect his love in a wild pokemon fight and was scarred from cheek to chin. To cover up his injury, he started to grow a beard. It grew excessively well and became an entangled mass upon his face. He’s always wanted to find a woman to rescue, just like his father did. He searches the seas for such a lass. And he does some plundering too.

Bio:A very beautiful, though young, girl, Diane loved her home in Goldenrod. She was a cheerleader at age five, which is also the same age she got Meowth from a pet shop. She was the most popular girl in Goldenrod…till her parents moved to middle of nowhere Dewford. Now she’s stuck on a rock with some of the ugliest pokemon she’s seen. She trained and beat those things until she found out she had a thing for pokemon training. It was then that she decided to bring some life to the town by becoming its youngest and cutest gym leader. Bio: As a young girl, she always had a fascination with plants. She had always wanted the strongest grass pokemon there were, just so she could marvel at them. Her dream came true when her grandparents, pokemon day-care people, gifted her with a pokemon egg that they had bought of a trainer who had too many pokemon already. They promised her that it would turn into a strong grass pokemon, all she had to do was wait. From that moment on, she always kept that egg with her until it hatched into a Bulbasaur. She and Fluffy have together ever since. Together they travelled Johto, defeating gym leaders and catching other powerful grass types. After defeating all eight Johto gym leaders she decided to move on and took the Hoenn gym challenge. It wasn't long after that that she became a member of the Elite Four. Later, in Oldale town, number one was enjoying the nice evening breeze when suddenly his phone began to ring.
"Hello," he anwsered it sleepily. "What is it?"
"HIYA!" came the voice from the phone, "How's it going? Are you tired? You shouldn't be tired. You're making a bad name for the Elite four!"
Number one held the phone away from his ear as the woman on the other side yelled at him. He paused before answering, just to make sure she was done, "Yeah, yeah. I'm more electric than the rest of you in the day time. Besides, if any one makes a bad name for us, it's Peter. He doesn't look human in all those clothes. At least I'm comfortable."
"Oh, fine." the woman agreed, "You have a point. But that's not why I called you. She left me a message."
"Who?"
"You know who."
"Liz? She's in Hoenn, she could just visit one of us easi-"
"NO!" interrupted the other, "SHE left me a message."
"Oh...well why didn't you just say so?" Questioned number one.
"She likes her privacy. Besides, we don't want the press to start pressing us again. We have to continue saying that she hasn't contacted us since last month."
"Good idea," yawned one, "So what did she want?"
"She just said the usual." The woman explained, "She told us she was fine and that we should take good care of her pokemon or else we'll pay."
"Do you think she knows?"
"Knows what?"
"That Umbreon has gone to look for her."
"I hope not. It wouldn't be good to make her worry. Besides, Peter and Liz are looking for it."
"They won't find it, it's too fast and too smart for them."
"Don't say that. Umbreon trusts them. Besides, if Umbreon is as smart and strong as you claim, it'll be fine. Maybe it'll find her."
"Maybe it'll get captured."
"No one can capture that thing."
"There are some who could..."
"How would you know?"
"I've been doing research. I'll talk to you about it in private. Now is not the time. Is that all?" He yawned again.
"Nope. That's it. Be careful. if there are such people out there, they might go after you," she said this in as motherly of tone as she could.
"It's not me that I'm worried about them going after. Good bye. It's my bed time." He turned off his phone, clicking off Two's complaining voice. He moved toward the hotel at a snail's pace. He was getting too old for this, but he'd have to hold out longer.

"Cosette, Cosette! Over here!" the firey-haired girl called out to her dearest friend and battle partner. She carefully separated the bushes next to the path she and her Ponyta had been traveling on for most of the day, revealing a tiny, secluded grassland and a small pool of water surrounded by trees. "I knew that old man wasn't lying! See, what'd I tell you? I knew I could find this place without getting us lost again!"

Cosette snorted and looked away stubbornly, trotting off the path and toward the pool to lap up the cool water. Her trainer wandered over to a large rock to sit down and rest, watching the Ponyta drink thirstily. Karen sighed. Just a few more hours of running around, training, and attempting to catch some Pokemon, then she could finally go back to her hotel and get some real rest. A bath would be nice too. And then maybe some shopping...

This was only her first day as a trainer and she was already so exhausted from a long day of fighting! It was tiring, but there was such a thrill about this new experience. And the possibility of meeting up with some of her old childhood friends from Cinnabar kept her motivated. Many of her friends had left the island a lot sooner than she had to become trainers. She needed to catch up to them before they got too powerful for her to challenge! She smiled, remembering some of the faces of her old friends, slowly drifting off into a daydream.
