It was probably announced even before today, but now it's official.

The interesting thing about this series is that like another recent Sunrise mecha series, Code Geass, the character designs are done by artists not familiar to Sunrise/the Gundam series, this time by Yun Kouga who's famous for Loveless. Since I couldn't get access to the fifteen second video feed, I can't assume anything... But rumor has it that the mecha designer in charge of 00 was supposed to be Katoki Hajime! (Just a rumor... Hajime being busy with Gundam UC and GFF cause me to doubt his participation...)
Personally, I think it is a nice change of scenery from two seasons worth of Seed. I'll report back with news if they come.
I find it funny that Bandai Japan never buys .com domains for some reason...

I'll give it a watch, just because it's a new show in a new universe, and thus needs support. However, I currently don't like the mechanical design. Apparently the Japanese text by "2307" refers to Anno Domini. That's right, if the rumours i've heard are right, this takes place in OUR universe.

Which is... something. neutral five gundam rule.... but that was implemented like recently though... why should we care if there are five... and yea, that looks nothing like Katoki hajime... That female person looks like Motoko from GITS.... and it is our time... but still 2307 is pretty far out... so who cares, sci-fi is sci-fi but new gundam I will watch just because...

am i the only one thinking that one of the pilots doesn't actually have a Gundam but just a support plane/ship or something?
hopefully it won't be as bad as Seed

Tenryu am i the only one thinking that one of the pilots doesn't actually have a Gundam but just a support plane/ship or something? hopefully it won't be as bad as Seed Already discounting the possibility that it might be able to transform? mrgreen

Looks interesting enough with the machines, don;t know about the look of the last character they showed the one with the scarf. Any idea when it is due to launch in Japan?

hey character descriptions up on Gunota Headlines and links to character and probably more importantly the 4 new Gundam's.... i have to say the Virtue reminds me of R-2 from the SRW series and for **** sakes Tieria looks like a bloody girl
