Why: Atae's been hurt & her friends are concerned; Liliana needs to see Endless after she's had time to digest that he loves her

The sky was darkening, evening was well and truly here. Outside of the Fierra place there was the sound of small pops. In the yard where there had been no one before three forms apparated into being. Liliana held her best friend Edward Elric close to her. Even though the teen was easily smaller than the crimson female she had not wanted to take chances because of the added weight of his automail. Checking to see that if had been as perfect an apparation as usual Lily then glanced to her brother to see how he had made it.

Hemi looked the slightest bit pale. He was not quite as good with magic as his sister and he had never apparated nor been to the Fierra home. he had followed Remus before, but this was the first time trying so with his sister. He gave her a shaky grin with a wag of his chocolate tails to show that he was okay. Or at least would be in a moment or two.

Satisfied, Liliana stretched then folded her brown wings against her body and padded to the door as she adjusted her bag and pendant. Butterflies fluttered inside her and her pulse quickened. Green eyes glanced at Edward briefly, before turning to the door and knocking firm yet polite.

The door creaked open and a small thud could be heard on the other side right before Soot peeked around the door. Soot squeeked and waggled Soot's tails quite happily at the visitors. Soot had seen Edward when he'd been here to visit Atae; Soot had actually been under the bed, just very quiet. Lily Soot recognized from a piece of artwork in Endless' room. Hemi... was there with friends, so Soot was happy to see him too.

The little soot-permakit tugged on the door so they could come in just as a very loud "KNOCK OUT!" came from across the main room. Ifrit was staring at a tv screen in disbelief after having been beaten for the fifth time in a row on a fighting game he was playing against Valefor. Kitsyn was all but rolling behind them in laughter at Ifrit's indignant muttering.

There was a trio of Christmasy angelic perma-kitss that looked remarkably like the ones Lily at home, except they were all boys, all effectively being pinned down by the angelic teen, Seer, with a bit of help from Valefor's heavier tails. Another perma-kit was on the couch above where the group in the floor sat, a white one with blue and brown markings that seemed bent on looking regal even though he kept trying to nod off and topple off the seat.

A purple kitsu with some white and black markings peeked around from behind the kitchen counter. "Who is it, Soot darlin'? At that the group by the tv seemed to realize that someone was there and Kitsyn hopped up to come greet them. Only, she was beaten to it by a pearly white lump of red and yellow striped... strange that slithered over to the door faster than anything had a right to.

"Shoom greets people! Shoom likes new friends!" Shoom anounced in his leaky-tire voice, followed by a cheesy zipper-grin. The Dusk then seemed distracted and utterly fascinated by Hemi's scarf and immediately coiled around the teen's neck to join it. "Shoom makes neck warm!"

Kitsyn just sort of... looked and then... fell over laughing again. While she was trying to recover herself Valefor chimed in. "Don't mind Shoom, dear friends, he's harmless even if he is a bit annoying and... very strange."

Kitsyn finally stood up and waved the group after her, still laughing but more in control. By the time they'd walked down the side hallway to where Atae's room was located she was able to speak again. "Endless is inside. He was reading to Atae, so she doesn't have to worry about holding books up and flipping pages. ...She hates not being allowed to do anything." XP; And with that she knocked.

A moment later Endless opened the door and the first thing he saw was Lily. His jaw dropped slightly and he sort of... stared. She looked... good. Something was different, but he couldn't put his paw on it. It made it harder than usual to look away... at least until Kitsyn reached up to close his mouth for him and he hurriedly backed up with the door in tow so the others could come in, ears burning. He was blushing all the way down to his shoulders, not that you could see it under his dark fur. "Hey Atae, you got visitors."

The small femme picked her head up to see everyone walking in and a grin split her face from ear to ear. "Hey everybody!"

Edward had been here not long before.. but there were more awake and about this time around. The teen's eyes widening a bit as he was startled be Shoom's sudden enthusiasm as he wrapped himself around Hemi. But all was well. The alchemist still remaining silent as he followed Lilianna and Kitsyn back to Atae's room. However... when the door opened... Edward frowned deeply as Endless and Lilianna just stared at each other. "Come through!" he announced, pushing past Endless before he'd moved all the way and approaching Atae.

"Hey there" he greeted Atae, seating himself next to her as Lilianna and Hemi announced that they were here to help her out and get her to heal faster. Edward contented himself with just watching. He had come here for Atae's sake only, and thus he would offer her any support that she would need.

A soft sigh and a return nuzzle was all Liliana would permit herself. I missed you too, Endless... I missed you... She knew she had been purposefully avoiding him, but now was not the time to explain. Not the time for matters of the heart. Atae was her friend too... and needed her. Didn't she? Her gaze flicked to Edward beside the belted female, confusion flickering in their green depths. Something fluttered in the back of her awareness, just out of reach. She had not missed the way her best friend had brushed past Endless.

Neither had Hemi. Shoom still wrapped around his neck (unless the dusk moved and it was missed) Hemi did no more than quirk his brow ridge, looking between the three quickly before grinning at Atae and hopping up to the other side of her to nuzzle the injured female gently as he could. "I do hope we can help Atae." The crimson female said gently, padding forward. Then a smile for Endless followed by a very soft "Tea would be nice..." and a gasp of worry mirrored in her eyes as Endless bumped the doorframe then giggled.

Hemi was silent, nuzzling into Atae's side and finding where she was hurt as his mother had taught him to do. A soft sigh escaped him. "I think I can get everything... 'cept the bones themselves." Lily pawed into her bag. "Broken bones are easy. This will make the healing days instead of weeks." She pulled out a vial and brought it over to Atae. "I'm afraid it won't taste the best. Not the worst either though." Concern and care for her friend in her eyes. Hemi's voice was exceptionally soft and low as the teen added "And I'll make sure none of the healing hurts." A soft glow was starting to form around Hemi, a flow of magic not of the wizarding kind moving from him to the female beside him: warm & tender & somehow non-invasive. The feeling could be likened to the flooding of warmth through one's body drinking hot chocolate milk on a cold winter's day as the warmth spreads throughout the body but with a slightly thicker feel to it. Light blue eyes closed as he concentrated.

Shoom was indeed still there, though being quiet. At least up until the point that Hemi started his magic. Then Shoom started giggling and squirmed. "Fuzzy light tickles!"

Atae felt herself relaxing as the warmth rolled through her, pain and tension fading to a bearable level. Hemi didn't seem finished yet, so hopefully it would get even better. "Good." It was the only thing she could think to reply to Edward's assurance that the trip went well.

She was tempted to ask him why he was acting so oddly, but she knew she needed to take the potion so she went ahead and gulped it down, making a face at the odd taste. Not really bad, not very good, just sort of... well, it was odd. "What have you three been up to this last week?" They could visit while they were working... right?

By this point Bryna had snuck away from her early bed-time since Kitsyn had left her door open after bringing Endless up and floated downstairs. They'd said someone else was here, so she came to see who it was. She remained near the cieling even as she floated just underneath the top of the doorframe and into the room. Watching curiously as she floated downward, the little Nobody eventually landed on Edward's head and flopped forward so that her little nose was positioned above and only just in front of his eyes. "What are the cousins doing, Nii-chan?" She recognized Lily and Hemi, even if she hadn't actually really spent any time around them.

"I want to see Mustang.. nothing really exciting. He's the same old bas-" and Edward was suddenly cut off as something landed on his head. Now remember.. Ed is small and his head can't accomodate even a kit very well. Thus the alchemist found himself hunched over with the added weight ontop of them. Still, he laughed as he realized who it was as soon as she said 'Nii-chan'. So she lived here too, eh? "They're friends of mine. They're helping Atae get better."

Hopefully she wouldn't stay on his head too long, as his neck would likely get a cramp sooner rather than later. Still, he tolerated it for the time being, grinning past the kit's paws at the others that were gathered around. "This is Bryna" he told Lilianna, as he could easily see her confusion.

"eh... Hello Bryna." Liliana did not know what to think of the little kit. Bryna's coloring reminded her of Aunt Noko, but... "Yes... very pretty arm socks. My sister Mau Cho has arm socks..."

Green eyes flicked at Atae, almost pleading to be saved. The crimson female visibly relaxed at her friend's question, latching onto it as something normal that she knew how to respond to. She even smiled. "I think Zell'd love to train you too, Atae." Her smile widened and white and gold tails flicked happily as she reminisced over her lessons. "He's very ...zealous... when it comes to his training."

That was an understatement, but she found herself unable to continue watching the "game" with wide eyes. Lily felt a small ache, as if realizing she had left much out of her growing up while sequestering herself in the library with father. Her ears perked at the shrill whistle and sighed softly in happy anticipation of tea. Perhaps it would calm her nerves. Her eyes paused on Edward before falling on her brother.

His glow was now fading and Hemi looked exhausted & drained. He fell limply onto Atae, baby blue eyes slightly glazed. "There... Everything's... fine. Better. Bones... already healing..." Hemi then glanced at his cousin and smiled. "Hey, Bryna. How's Aunt Noko doing?"

"Noko? Your mom's Nokomis?"

"Momma is a Noko. She is doing un-ed-uble. She said so when I tried to see what her feathers taste like." Since Bryna was no longer being entertained by Shoom she wandered over to Ed and stuck her nose up his sleeve while trying to peek at his automail again. He seemed occupied with something so she didn't want to bother him to pull it up for her.

Atae couldn't see Bryna's current occupation or she would have laughed. She did, however, wrap her tails around the limp Hemi and ruffled his head-fur with her chin. "Thank you, Hemi... and yes, Lily, Bryna is one of your cousins. I guess you haven't met her before?" She was feeling so much better. "And... I guess I'll come over to see you and ask about some training from... what did you say his name was, again?"

Suddenly Shoom re-entered the room, his back stretched out flat and carrying several bowls and a pitcher of fresh tea on a tray. "Shoom helps!"

It was still several more minutes before Endless reappeared, sticking his head around the corner of the door. "Hey Lily... can I show you something?" There was a subtle excitement in his expression that made Atae curious, but he'd only asked Lily and she couldn't get up yet anyway...
