Atae walked a bit stiffly into HQ. She was good to walk, but her newly healed bones were still getting used to moving around again. Now, let's see, where would Ed be?

Her musing was interrupted as Bryna shot past her and floated down one of the hallways. "Bryna! Come back here! We need to find Ed!" A pause and then, "You know I can't go chasing you around yet!"

((Short, sorry, time constraints. XD; ))

Atae had been but a moment away from trying to chase after Bryna and looked visibly relieved. "Ed! Hi! I'm back on my feet... but I guess you noticed that." She smiled sheepishly and looked back over her shoulder to make Bryna hadn't disappeared.

As she did so, the little Nobody did a mind bogglingly quick u-turn and came back down the hall to halt mere inches from Ed's nose, triumphantly holding up his coat and over-shirt as high as her small paws would allow her to without dropping them. "I brought Nii-chan's things!" The silver-haired kit was grinning ear to ear, obviously quite pleased with herself.

"It's a little stiff, Valefor said probably from the accelerated healing and not being able to move it. It should loosen up if I walk on it for a day or two. Just no trecking up the mountain to see the folks or anything..." She smiled at how pleased Ed was to have his things back. "She insisted she be the one to bring them back, I guess since you left them with her. So I let her tag along."

Bryna did an excited little barrel roll and then peered curiously at Edward. "Nii-chan looks good in black. Why does Nii-chan wear the red coat?"

Atae moved around to see the symbol on the coat better and smiled. "That's kinda neat! I keep wondering about your alchemy and how it works... but it seems like every time I think to ask you about it something happens." She quickly looked down both hallways and through the open doorways on either side of them as if fearing that speaking about it would cause something to happen again.

There'd been too much happening the last two weeks for her taste. x.X

Bryna floated down to the coat and experimentally stuck one arm in a sleeve, which was, of course, much too big for her. "...Nii-chan has a big coat." Then she got the bright idea to see if she could fit all the way in the sleeve and before either of the older kitsu could say anything had gotten herself stuck about halfway in. "Coat's trying to eat me!" was following by a failed attempt at flailing.

Well, if alchemy wasn't magic, it had to be a skill that one could learn, right? Endless was trying to learn Potions, Kitsyn and the others had their paintball course, Valefor and Seer went sailing with Aear... Atae had asked about getting training with Lily from Zell, but that was more so she could learn to defend herself. So why shouldn't she find something to put her time and effort into? There was soft but well founded determination forming in Atae's hazel-green eyes. "Yeah, I think I'd like to see those books."

Bryna's stunt recieved a startled laugh from the small adult, followed by a quickly muffled giggle at what she did next. The little Nobody clung to side of the rescuing paw opposite the coat and glared at the red garb. "Nii-chan, your coat is ebil."

Atae followed behind Edward, smiling as Bryna took up orbital position over his head and started pulling paperclips out of her pocket to fiddle with. Even Kitsyn seemed a little baffled about Bryna's fascination with them, but... they made her happy, right? And she didn't try to swallow them or anything, so it seemed safe enough.

"So is there a library here, too? I never really did finish looking around." That seemed the logical place to have a bunch of books, anyway. Or did Ed have a room here? She couldn't remember.

Atae took the book graciously and wagged her tails. "Ok, I will." She seemed to pause for a moment. "Ed, I don't meant to pry or anything... but what happened the other night? Everyone's emotions were pinging all over the place, especially Endless... though he actually seemed at peace when we all finally went to bed. I was a little out of it so I didn't really... register most of it, even what I did actually hear about."

She realized what she'd said about emotions pinging around shortly after she'd finished her statement, but it was a little late by that point to re-think what she'd meant to say. She hadn't really... out and out told anyone about her empathy, and she wasn't sure if Ed would think twice about what she'd said or not.

Bryna, meanwhile, had unobtrusively tugged another book off the shelf and had it open on the floor where she looked to be reading it... aside from the fact that it was upside down and she was flipping the pages far too quickly. She knew what happened because of asking Kitsyn, not that she really understood why Ed and End would go fighting over who got to snuggle with Lily. Lily seemed to like snuggling with anyone.

Atae looked a little downcast. "Ah... Well... I'm still around if you need to talk then?" She tried to look cheerful, but it was obvious the situation was bothering her. At least she seemed to have dodged the bullet about her empathy.

Bryna looked up from her book, suddenly curious. The oddest things peaked her curiosity sometimes... "Why is snuggling not something to be talked about?" ...Embarrass much?
