So I dunno if i just never knew as much about pregnant people as i thought i did, or what, or just didn't spend much time around them, or if the pregnant people i did spend time around were just a bit on the pudgy side, i dunno. But when my baby first started kicking to the point that it was visible, which was ridiculously early, i thought it was kinda neat. But no way did i quite realize how much that would escalate. Now I'm at the point where I could have my baby basically now and there wouldn't be any complications, because i'm measuring two weeks ahead and if you're 36 or 37 weeks and go into labour they don't stop you and your baby isn't generally considered way premature (depends on thier size) And it's just wiiiiieeeerrrd to look at. I mean at any given moment you can generally feel about what angle the baby is sitting at by touching my tummy, and half the time you don't need to touch. Half the time there is a knee sticking out of my right side. Or a bum sticking out the front right side. (my baby has favourite ways to sit) The other day you could actually see and feel the entire side from the back of the bum to the feet
And you should just see the looks on people's faces when my baby starts shiffling around and my entire belly just warps, and you can totally see what's a knee and what's a back and all that. Guys especially. One of my guyfriends, I swear, his eyes nearly popped right out, and all he could say was "holy s**t! holy s**t!"
Has anyone ever witnessed this before? One of my friends has a whole list of videos on youtube where people captured that, (she's obsessed w/ babies and pregnancy) but I'd never even HEARD of it before.
It looks like an alien. domokun

I am not found of touching people's stomachs with a living creature inside.
So I have no real experience with "kicking" babies...
I have only had my hand grabbed and put on a stomach before.
I did not enjoy.
It's creepy as hell. I do not want to touch it. NO. DONT MAKE ME. D:

Alright, this one's a little bit silly. We really could have consolidated and kept this in one of those chat threads.
Also, I'm a butthead. No need to tell me twice. biggrin
