What great hall do you hope to join when your coil of humanity rips asunder?

.. If I were to hang around in the halls of the old gods I would probably hope to earn a spot in Freya's halls. I can't see why one would want to get thrown into Niflungaheimur. It's a storage facility. As is all of Helheimar. It's where the useless carcasses of cowards and assholes are stored before Hræsvelgur devours 'em.
I will probably however just end up getting reincarnated again.

Besides entering the hall for judgement, there is still a nice hall there. You don't think Hel has a swanky pad? Shame on you. Its so nice Bauldr didn't want to leave. Tell me how useful are poets and famous people? There is a party to be had down there and i'm all for it.

you know that Helheimar is nothing like "hell"?
and that being a poet, or famous, is not enough to get to Valhöll nor to Freya's halls....

Miniar you know that Helheimar is nothing like "hell"? and that being a poet, or famous, is not enough to get to Valhöll nor to Freya's halls.... i dont think you understand what he is trying to say. yeah, being a poet ir famous does not get you to Vallhala or to Folkvang, so where does it get you? (assuming you dont join a differnt hall) if they go and join Hel, then later with the giants, they will rage war upon the Æsir in the final battle of Ragnarok

bondage bunnie First off i didnt start this thread to flame other's choices. Second Niflehel is the hall of Hel in Nifleheim. Third the point is she is my parton goddess its doesn't give a good god damn what is there I'm going there anyways. There's a distinct difference between flaming and debating... discussing.. questioning... and any belief that doesn't stand up to question is a blind sort of faith.. wink And while I may come off as anything other than what I am meaning to do.. what I mean to do is simple... with reason and calm facts ask the questions that come up when I read the posts... not to be an a**... but mostly out of curiosity.. I'm terribly curious and it adds to my understanding of, not only the faiths and thoughts of others but also, my own faith..

Definition of faith. Holding a belief in something with no form or tangible substance, without proof of its existence. (oxford dictionary)
By definition all faith is blind. Written word hasn't proven the existence of any legend or myth no matter how ancient your text or faith. You will never know the truth till you die, so learn to have humor and fun with your religion.
