Who: Terasu and Charity What: ..........yeah. XD Where: near HQ woods. When: after meeting Atae.
With a stretch of legs and ruffled of feathers, Terasu exited the HQ and glanced about outside. Had not his mother said she'd be arriving soon? Maybe he had come a tad bit too early. He shrugged to himself and decided on a small sprint just outside the woods. At least then he wasn't too far off, but still had something to do besides sitting around.

However, there was something that Terasu didn't like expect. A familiar form stepped into his path some feet away. Bearing a likeness to a certain homunculus... it was Charity. Fixing the feathered kitsu with a hard stare.
She said nothing, just merely stood there... looking at him, waiting for a reaction. Her features otherwise void of emotion as her golden eyes remained locked onto the one who had 'killed' her.

Nose twitched before anything else even began to feel wary. Hesitantly, he lifted his eyes from the trail, finding Charity not too far from himself. He slowed to a stop and silently stared back at the other. So...she was alive. Ears pinned back as the male was torn between guilt and disappointment. Even so, caution was at the forefront of his mind at the moment. He backstepped once while keeping green eyes on dark gold. "All healed...are we?"

There was a definite tension in the air, she being just as wary of him as he was of her... although she didn't show it. Even as he backed up, Charity continued to stand in the same spot.
"Yeah... no thanks to you" was her reply in a rather cold manner. Needless to say.. she didn't enjoy the sensation of death... especially as gruesome of one as that.

Ears leaned forward daringly, and Terasu stood still. At the very least, she didn't sneak attack him, and for that he was grateful. Mouth opened wordlessly, attempting an apology. But really, what would that matter to a sin? Or even the daughter of one. A sigh escaped his maw. "You think I wanted to do that?" He had made plenty of warnings, and was still pushed to that point. But just like her father, she was a survivor. His brows furrowed. "Why are you here?"

He certainly liked to jump to conclusions in his own mind, didn't he? But then.. I guess that didn't make him any different from anyone else around here. Too bad she couldn't read thoughts.
Charity snorted at his first question, "You seemed to enjoy it, well enough." Her tails flicking in aggravation, eyes narrowing.
His second question was responded to with another question, "Why do you think I'm here?"

His own eyes narrowed to the green-locked femme. How dare she preach to him as if she knew him. He may do the same, but wasn't it justified? Wasn't it? His maw frowned as she spoke of the rush he tried to deny. "That thing wasn't me. Don't compare me to that!" Especially after his hopes and guilt had lifted. This sort of influence wasn't something he wanted to handle now, or ever. His paws gripped at the dirt, bothered that she refused to answer him. "Who knows...mind games? Revenge? You tell me."

She glared at him, "Is that so?" And a paw was pointed at herself, "As much as I care for him... I am -NOT- my father! But he's still a part of me, just as that 'thing' is a part of you!" .... That was strangely profound, wasn't it?
"I came to see who you are, and frankly, I'm a bit disappointed."

That made the feathered boy lean back and pin his ears. Teeth grinded irritably, both at his confusion and her boldness. Even if he never directly worded it, she knew. She still knew how he came to view her, just because of conditioning. And frankly, the similiarities disturbed him.
Tails curled tensely and he dipped his head. "You say these things, but do you really believe them? Why not prove yourself a seperate being from your father?" That was his own original goal, trying to see the daughter in a different light. Even with a light-hearted attempt at friendship that she twisted painfully. "Besides," he lifted his head with a raised brow, "what do you care to see who I am?" Did anyone even have an inkling of who he was? With the way things have been lately....odds seemed low.

"Why should I prove myself to you? You're the one that 'killed' me" this said in a deadpan fashion, as she sat back and stared at him with half-lidded unamused eyes. "I can't help who I am anymore than you can... and if you can't accept that... then" and she lifted her paw to flip him the bird. Sure she's a bit... brash... to say the least... but she's behaving herself rather well. She wasn't any goody-goody like his other friends might be, and she wasn't about to change either. She was never totally good.. or totally evil... but instead she drifted somewhere inbetween... After... Envy and Nessa were the only influenes in her life thus far. She has no friends aside from her sister.
"Do I need a reason?" she asked irritably... utterly amazed at the dense, shallowness that this male was exhibiting.

How he hated that kill word. And the fact theat himself did that act made him sick. Tension slowly ebbed from his body as he listened, though the raised finger did make him raise a bemused brow. How...um sincere of her. "At least you're being honest." He smirked slightly, finding the situation to be surreal and amusing through his amicable outlook.
Eyes narrowed at her question, and he forced his numbed legs to move forward. "You may not need a reason, but I do." Why would she even bother to return, if not for blood? That thought alone urged him on; indeed she was not 100% her father. He stopped before her, and rested his forehead against her own. "I have nothing to lose. So what will you do now?" His eyes didn't waver, knowing if things got bad, all he'd need was a single bite. How else would he get answers if not being pushy himself for once?

Honest? You mean she actually could be virtuous? Gasp.
She watched him without flinching as moved toward her and spoke. However, she was surprised at the physical contact.. his forehead on hers. Charity had amazing control though, and her straight face didn't change in the least. But her muscles did tense a bit. Her family wasn't exactly.. how you say.. touchy feely.. and thus physical contact wasn't something she was use to.. and she found it.. strange when not in a violent or teasing manner.
What would she do now? She sat there for several moments, silent and unmoving.. as if mulling over her thoughts. She could easily rip out his throat if she moved fast enough.. and he could poison her just as easily again. However.. it wasn't a bite that came from Charity.. it was a simple lick upon the nose. A triumphant smirk coming upon her maw, despite whatever reaction he might have.

Heh, and that was such a quality that baffled other kitsus. Could a kin of spawn be virtuous? Why not find out Terasu...
Eyes peered steadily at the femme, taking in the stone-like appearance. A facade, perhaps? He did sense her tension, just as much as he could hear his own heart pounding. Just what was she thinking in this long pause? Images flitted through Terasu's mind at all the possibilities, of course the most dangerous ones first. He had to be on his toes for whatever surprise may come.
He flinched when she did finally move....and licked his nose. He stood petrified for a few seconds, not knowing how to respond to that surprise. Realizing he had been holding his breath the whole time, he released a sigh and unlocked his legs. Now that he thought it through, that was scary. o_o; He'd been so caught up, he didn't stop to consider just how stupid his action was. But, oh well. Terasu had uncanny ways of getting things done.
"Well.....that was pleasant." He backstepped an inch to make some more, appropriate room.

She had that same toothy grin that Envy had... minus the malicious intent this time around. It was more... amused, maybe even smug... as she judged his reaction.
Really... her family wasn't one much for affection, and Charity herself wasn't one to know how to display it. Be it friendly or otherwise. Giving him the lick on the nose was odd as it was for her, but she seemed strangely pleased with herself.
Green tails curled around her and covered her front paws. Nose tilting in the air just slightly as her amused smirk remained. "I agree" was her reply, golden eyes watching him intently. A very light, playful growl rumbling in her throat, which could be easily taken as a sultry purr.

The feathered male simply rolled his eyes at her smirk. Just what did she find so victorious about the action? Oh well, he wasn't going to complain and start trouble. Besides, he could only guess how many got off with a simple lick. Especially if her siblings enjoyed such rough play as she did, even in adulthood.
Ears balanced back as he checked his surroundings. A sort of...subconscious curiosity for signs of deja vu. Picking up no scents with his nose, he turned back to Charity. Still grinning are we? A brow raised and he too sat back while tilting his head. "So amuse me. What's so dissappointing?" Such words were never said before about Terasu's character. And he was more curious than stung by the statement now.
