Alright, there have been afew Gaian's able to talk to me on the phone in my busy life, eight out of six were good...
But it made me think, has anyone else ever talked to someone? Seeing a pic and then hearing them, whoa... Shocking... Most sound different then what you though right?
So yeah...

I have, yep, several of them. It is a different sort of feeling associating with people you previously only knew by text.

hmm, yeah, I've talked to a couple of different ppls on the phonesies. Zedd is one! And umar! Both sound about what I thought they would! But there are other net ppl I've talked to who've completely surprised me.

I have talked to Swooboo and Ethan on the phone at different times. Also Allen, but he only posted here a few times, then went back to the other Gates. Who else...hmmm...most are at the Gates, not really Gaians.

*scratches head* We didn't talk on the phone Ethan, it was through yahoo chat or msn chat or something.
But yeah, I sound like total crap so I rarely talk to anyone. It's best that way.
But so far it's only been a very low number of people because of how I get trying to actually talk. It's easier for me to type.

I have only talked to two people on my cell. Bosch, and Rellik.
I guess I get kinda nervous...or maybe I'm just unusually hyper. I donno if I sound different then what I look. Heh. *shrugs*

I've never talked to anyone on the phone. Unless it's someone I really know, like my best mate or my dad, I can't hold a conversation on the phone. Typing is far easier.

I talk to Smokey all the time on the phone. She is really chatty and fun to talk to. But if I have to hold up the conversation I am not sure how well I can do that. I would run out of things to say quickly.

umaeril I talk to Smokey all the time on the phone. She is really chatty and fun to talk to. But if I have to hold up the conversation I am not sure how well I can do that. I would run out of things to say quickly. Uma should talk to me on the phone... Think I'm cool online, should have a chat with me over the phone...

I always had such similarly terrible feelings toward my own voice. I got over it with time, when I realized everone else had the same feelings toward their own voice. But, likewise I must say I'm a terrible conversationalist; and though granted (beyond my understanding) some women may swoon before my diverse accent, I'd much rather avoid the telephone except for, well, novelty purposes. The Gaians I've talked to weren't Gaians at the time and neither was I, yet the question still seems relevent to me in regards to text-based interactions.
