Karse Karse is one of the most advanced pieces of technology that Agartha can lay claim to. Located in the capital city of Shambalah, it is the pride of the populace. Used mostly for entertainment, it holds a steady stream of activities ranging both in variety and ferocity. The Stadium is a large dome with surrounding stadium seating for viewing pleasure. The technology incorporated in the dome allows it to host any number of elemental fields. It can also host a full water field for everyone’s favorite sport: Blitzball! Some other key entertainments include battles between specially captured monsters and some brave soul or souls. There are, of course, other – less deadly – entertainment. But the populace of Agartha has always been more bloody minded than most. And they prefer the more bloody battles to anything else.

A short, balding man steps out of the office located at the foot of Karse Stadium. He is carrying a single piece of parchment in his hand as he hurries to the bulletin board located in the front of the entrance. His pudgy arms stretch as far as they can before he finally tacks the paper onto the board. Turning to face the small crowd in front of the Karse entrance, he clears his throat. "Ahem! Attention! The next entertainment here at Karse Stadium will be a Battle Royale! Man vs Monster! With the final contestants laying it all out on the line in a knockdown, dragout fight with each other for the title of Champion!" Though his words are meant to be exciting, his voice sounds tired and cranky. He finally scuttles back to his office, leaving the crowd free to peruse the poster at their leisure.Quote: Battle Royale!
-- There will be a total of four contestants allowed to enter the tournament on a first come, first serve basis.

-- The contestant with the highest score will be declared the winner

-- Contact Esildo Taluneha in the Karse Office to apply for entry Contestants:
1. Dythnix Stoneheart 2. Lahhel Caoilfhionn 3. Scorpion 4.

[Pay attention. Esildo went back to his office at the end of the post. ^^]
Esildo looked up as a man entered his office asking to be signed up. He sighed. It had already begun. His ever-present scowl deepened as he fumbled around for a piece of paper on his desk. "Name?" he barks suddenly. He was in no mood to be trifled with. It hadn't been his decision to host this tournament. Organizing a game of Blitzball was infinitely easier. And didn't require that he send his team out to capture any monsters. It was so much harder to capture them than just kill them. And then, there was the necessary wait while they returned to full strength...Really! The whole thing was a nuisance! A plain nuisance!

The man looked up at that, cocking a brow in derision. "Stoneheart, huh? Yeah...ok." He rolled his eyes as he looked back down at his paper, scratching on it a bit with his pen. "Well, I suppose there's no reason why you can't get started right away. The other contestants haven't signed up yet. But we can only host one battle at a time. So we might as well get this show on the road." His voice dropped to a petulant mutter. "Then we can get it over with, too." He stood, motioning Dythnix to follow him. I'll show you to the Stadium entrance where you'll face your first monster. He turned around, his pudgy face quivering as he asked very slowly. "Do you understand?"

[Rolling for field type...>_<]
The little man led the way to the very top of Karse. At the bottom of the huge dome structure was a small doorway. When Esildo punched in a complex code, the door disappeared. He hurriedly motioned Dythnix into the stadium. Once the young man had entered, Esildo punched in a different code which caused the door to appear once more, trapping the young man inside the dome. He floated at random due to the dome's special antigravity field. With Esildo punching in a series of codes again, the atmosphere inside the dome shimmered. Instead of a clear bubble, there was now a field ready to be used. The ground was normal dirt with grass covering most of it. The sky was also a normal blue, with no suprises in store for the contestants. Esildo sneered at Dythnix as he left. "Lucky, boy. You're terribly lucky." He left back to his little office to await the next contestant that showed up looking for entrance.
------------------
As Dythnix waited in his now normal gravity environment, the air shimmered once more. This time the field around him did not change. Instead, a monster was being teleported in. The first monster to appear was that of a small gargoyle. His skin was gray and he blinked fuzzily in the light. But his eyes soon lit on Dythnix, and he let out a ferocious screech. His tiny wings flapped furiously until finally he jerked into the air, hovering uncertainly.

[Roll Initiative please.]
The gargoyle continues to glare, uncertain now that the human looks ready to fight back. His little wings are pumping furiously as his tiny brain tries to think things through. He'd been captured along with a few of his other companions in a cave a little more than a week ago. Since then, he'd been kept in solitary confinement in a dark place just like he liked it. Now, however, he'd been thrust into this too bright sun. And here was a hostile human. He finished deliberating -- or as much as he could -- with a final snap of his wings. He was going to escape! Maybe if he killed this human, he could get out...and go back to his wonderful cave.

[[guess I go first]] trying to swing a sword at a flying beast isn't easy as is obvious now but he still tried with all his might to hit it.....And completly missed,However he kept telling himself that he needed to save his mp for later and so he kept swinging futility at it. Acc:53 [[sux I know]]
